I've gone to couture med spa for several years with excellent service and staff. It was amazing. As of late, there's been a mass exodus of amazing longstanding staff that were more like family. Sadly, any location is now booked 1-2 months in advance. Ridiculous. Front staff is replaced with less than competent staff. My visit today was a reflection of this. I waited weeks for my appointment today. Today's appointment should've been straightforward. It was anything but. I was taken to the back by Kristen Martinez, Assistant Practice Administrator. If you are unfortunate, like me, to get her, talk very slow, don't use big words. She probably won't get it then either but.. one must try when she's your only option. In my opinion, the mental-midget is in the wrong job. Perhaps she's better suited for auto mechanics?. Forget it, just go to the front and explain your issue to someone else. It worked for me. My mental midget didn't know if I needed to be numbed,, what order to numb me, then doesn't listen to my question about the product that's banked , instead quotes another product in a rude tone like she's the authority of what I'm going to do. She's clearly in the wrong industry. This is a beauty industry. I don't HAVE to go there to spend my money. They DO have competition. Karina can't process big words or minimally complex business issues. I'd not have her run a flea circus let alone a lucrative med spa. Would give zero stars if I could. What a shame that I have to share my experience through this channel because the girl at the front desk had no empathy whatsoever to listen to my feedback in person. I had a 10:00 AM appointment for my fifth laser hair removal session on my chin area. I arrived at 10:08 AM. From the moment I walked in, I apologized for being late. I was immediately informed of their 5-minute late policy, which I was unaware of because I had never arrived late to any of my previous appointments. On the contrary, I had consistently waited between 5 and 15 minutes for a procedure that takes no more than 2 minutes to perform. I explained that I had driven 30 minutes to get there and asked whether they could make an exception. I was told no because they are very strict about their policy. While I understood that policies exist, that statement did not seem entirely accurate given the number of times I had personally been kept waiting. She then said she would ask the provider. She returned almost immediately to tell me it was not possible. Feeling disappointed and discouraged by her inflexible attitude, I decided not to continue discussing rescheduling options. I simply said "Okay" and left. After noticing a farmers market across the street, I decided to walk over to feel as though my hour commute had not been completely wasted. I began connecting my thoughts and processing the event, and I came to the conclusion that I was not going to return for the two remaining sessions. The period between sessions is supposed to be approximately 8 weeks, and due to this rescheduling issue I was already approaching ten weeks between sessions. Additionally, my hair has proven to be quite resistant and continues to grow significantly, making it likely that I would need even more sessions. I ultimately decided to return to the spa because I had to pass by it on my way back to my car, and I wanted to provide my feedback in person. For someone with a naturally reserved personality, this was a challenge in itself. However, I felt it was necessary to properly close out my experience. Having spent years working directly with customers, I have come to understand that empathy is the foundation of good customer service. I strive to balance the interests of both parties, be fair, and remain human in every interaction. My goal was simply to feel heard in real time. I had absolutely no intention of asking to be treated that day because I had already decided not to continue the remaining treatments. Unfortunately, I was unable to accomplish that goal. I began by clearly stating that my only purpose was to provide feedback because I had decided not to continue my treatment. I explained how my experience had unfolded and how the 5-minute late policy made me feel, particularly after previous appointments where I had been the one waiting and considering that this appointment itself had been rescheduled at the last minute by the spa. She immediately responded that she could not address my waiting times from previous appointments (as if I expected her to solve that, or as if they had a time machine), and that she could only refer to today, when I arrived 3 minutes beyond their 5-minute late policy. However, something as simple as "I'm sorry you had that experience" would have made a tremendous difference. It would have shown empathy toward a customer who was clearly upset. As the conversation continued, which I maintained respectfully from beginning to end, although my voice was trembling because I cannot deny that I was upset. Meanwhile, she kept trying to reinforce her policy over and over again without acknowledging my words--another opportunity she had to simply pretend to listen and make me feel appreciated, or even, if it wasn't genuine, to say she would take my feedback into account. But apparently her sense of superiority made it difficult for her to recognize that every business always has room for improvement. She became defensive and asked whether I was going to let her speak. She then told me that if I interrupted her again, she would have to ask me to leave. The tone felt less like a professional conversation and more like an attempt to demonstrate power and authority. It was demeaning and dismissive, as though my role as a customer did not entitle me to respectfully express my concerns. I told her there was no need for that and that she was being very rude. Her response was to ask why I had even decided to come back, implying that my purpose was simply to create conflict. She suggested that if I had feedback, I should leave it on their online platforms instead. And of course, I understand why. Why would she care about one more bad review when their reviews are already so low? It seemed easier to dismiss me than to face a customer who was clearly disappointed and who simply wanted to feel heard. I bought a Body Membership at Couture Med Spa in Winter Park, which included Vanquish. This is a contactless treatment that uses plaques for radiofrequency. The treatment includes two sessions. The first two months I had the treatment; I felt the area of treatment getting warm. By the third month, I did not feel anything. I told the manager the machine was malfunctioning. She told me the machine was working properly as the machine shows it. Fourth month, first session didn't feel anything. Once the session ended, I touched the plates and they were cold. Second session, I felt warm from the beginning. When done, I touched the plates and they were warm. Once again, I explained the situation to the manager (I was told her name was Kennedy). She didn't even listen to me. She kept on saying the machine was working properly. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. Unfortunately, my interaction with Kennedy left me feeling uncomfortable and unheard. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving future guest experiences. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I want to share my recent experience at Couture Med Spa in Ocoee, where I've been a client for years. I've had various treatments like microdermabrasion and Sculptra without any issues--until now. I inquired about fillers, and the Practice Administrator checked with the aesthetician to determine which filler would be best for me. Without seeing me in person, the aesthetician reviewed my previous pictures and recommended Restylane. I was informed about a 2-for-1 special on Restylane, so I decided to take advantage of it. When I arrived for my appointment, I overheard the front desk telling the Practice Administrator, "This one is yours." The only time I interacted with the aesthetician was when she rushed into the room to administer the fillers. She seemed distracted, as she was busy chatting with the Practice Administrator about their holidays, and moving to Miami. I requested a follow-up and ended up with the Practice Administrator again. She stared at me several times and said she didn't see anything wrong with the fillers. She referred to my pictures and mentioned that my face is naturally asymmetrical. She added that if I wanted to make it even, I would need more fillers. I would have expected the aesthetician, who has been voted the best in Orlando, to notice the asymmetry and adjust accordingly. These people are disrespectful and unprofessional. All they care about is meeting their goals for the day/week. I arrived 3 minutes late for my appointment and was told I would not be seen and would need to return 48 hours later, despite having upcoming travel and explaining my situation calmly. I understand policies. I am a business owner myself. What I do not understand is the complete lack of professionalism in how this was handled. The receptionist, Annabelle, was aggressive, condescending, and more focused on correcting me over the pronunciation of her name than de-escalating the situation. Another employee, Karina, physically stepped toward me while raising her voice, despite me standing still and several feet away. That was completely inappropriate. I asked if I could wait to see whether the next appointment canceled or didn't show. That request was refused outright. Ten minutes later, the next appointment had not arrived. I was the only person in the parking lot. This business lost a long-term client over 3 minutes. Not because of policy, but because of how that policy was enforced. At no point did anyone attempt to communicate with empathy, flexibility, or basic courtesy - OR - to do basic problem-solving. I paid for a month of the weight loss management, I clarified multiple times before signing the membership that I could start on the same dosage I was at through the doctors office and they said it would be no problem. After signing the contract, they came in and said I would be started at the second lowest dosage, come to find out they actually gave me the lowest one when I took it home. Today I went to go get my second month that I already paid for and they told me that I would have to do the lowest dosage since I was canceling my contract. When I asked to see where this was stated in the contract they refused to give me the copy of my contract or my cancellation form. I have stopped taking Zepbound before, and I never had to lower my dosage. I also received Botox from here and it does not give the same results as other places it seems like they are not giving the dosage they are saying that they are actually giving you. I will be following up further on this, but I would give zero stars if I could. There was a line of people there this morning canceling and complaining about the same things. If this is how you will continue to run your business good luck to you and the major lawsuits coming your way. read more

I have used Groupon to purchase services at Couture Med Spa in the past so this wasn't my first visit. Brittany was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions before my IPL facial. I'm so glad she explained exactly what to expect so I didn't freak out with each laser zap. She also emphasized their late policy, five minutes or you lose your appointment, which I found ironic after a 20 minute wait in the lobby. I'm glad I asked about after care so that I wouldn't hurt myself by using retinol moisturizer for a week. I think after care instructions should be included in the treatment so people don't accidentally hurt their skin. I bought a package of 3 treatments so I will definitely be back in a month. Well I have been going to this location and the location in Oviedo for a few years. I have referred many of my clients and friends to come here to get their Botox and laser hair removal as well. I currently have a subscription for 6 laser hair removal sessions prepaid. Well today I came in for my fourth session and some Botox. Everything was going as usual. I checked out and soon leaving saw that outside on a large billboard the Botox was advertised at 7.97 per unit and they had charged me 9.98 per unit. I know it's not that big of a price difference. I normally wouldn't have bothered with that but as I was leaving I also noticed a very angry and very large wasps nest attached to their out side wall. I decided it was best to let them know so that no one would get hurt. I took a picture of it and took a quick picture if the billboard too. I went inside to let them know and to ask about the price difference and the owner who was currently sitting behind the counter immediately got angry. She told me has doesn't have time for this, that I was even lucky to get in today because of covid ( I had this appt for over two weeks and they confirmed me) and that I should be happy they even allowed my daughter to sit in the waiting room ( she's 11 and was wearing a mask and busy with her game in her phone, with earbuds in)there were others waiting in the waiting room as well. I then said, why are you being so rude, this isn't how you should be acting with customers. I was surprised by the way she was addressing me. I stayed calm and was trying not to have a scene made. I then asked if there was an owner or someone I could talk too. That's when she said. She was the owner and I needed to leave. I thought she may be joking and asked really?she said yes! You need to go. Don't come back. I know everyone is having a very weird time right now, given the covid lockdowns, and now the riots. I'm trying to set a good example for my daughter by being understanding and forgiving and patient. But the way this lady acted towards me in front of her was absolutely uncalled for. I've only been going to couture for a few months but it has been absolutely wonderful! I got their Empower membership which is $199 a month and gives you tons of treatment options. I've been doing the laser hair removal and the results are amazing even after only 1-2 treatments! I already see a SIGNIFICANT decrease in hair and how frequently I need to shave. I've been a member at couture for almost a year and it has its pros and cons. I just had an experience with the owner that is making me consider cancelling. She was not kind, unkept, and belittling in her approach. She stormed in not even introducing herself chewing yesterday's lunch and it smelled up the room. She refused treatment because I was too tan, but her delivery was not customer service focused. If it wasn't for her kind and amazing staff (which I hope are treated better than the customers), then I'd cancel. Pros: good value, convenient location, variety of treatments, good Botox value, kind staff. I got laser hair removal and while the first round was a bit aggressive and slightly painful, I have not seen one hair since I received treatment. I've had LHR done before (with an entirely different company) and never saw the results I wanted. What a huge difference! They also have seasonal events with raffles, complimentary food and drinks, and fun games for awesome prizes! The services are fine and the staff is friendly however the contract and terms are created to benefit the spa and not the customer and canceling is not an easy task. I drove there with my cancellation letter in hand as per the terms of the contract however they are now adding unwritten terms stating it has to be two weeks prior to the month the contract ends and because I am just shy of 30 days early it's not within the timeframe so I rather need to go there again and sign a cancellation within the two weeks or drive to the post office to send my letter certified mail. BAD BUSINESS!!!! TERRIBLE!!! Either change your ways or a new provider will shit you down. How do you think Amazon became so popular????? They also have crazy rules about scheduling and rescheduling making it difficult to change appointments or even schedule more than one major service at a time. The service is horrible too many young people and they don't know what to do. the first time someone took me to the room she didn't give any explanation for anything I have to figured it how to call them when the machine turned off. the second time apparently this one knows procedures better she took pictures and filled out my profile and gave a little bit of information. they are not professional at all; the beds don't have any covers, so how do you know is disinfected and clean? the AC in freezing, I didn't feel any save and comfortable. I saw immediate results in fact better than when I tried fillers with a different dermatologist. I have enjoyed my membership with Couture Med Spa. I mainly go to the Winter park location but have also used Oviedo. I have Empower membership and take full advantage of everything they have to offer - why wouldn't you!. The staff is awesome. Front desk ladies are helpful and very friendly. The NP's are knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy the facials, she is awesome. Gave me the best advice about my facial care, as I am trying to undo all the sun damage I have from living in Florida and too much time at the beach. Other services are good, it takes a 2-3 sessions to see results for IPL and hair removal. I have seen a difference with both. Brown spots are fading and hair has thinned out. The Winter Park location is easily found in GPS but I understand the comment about hard to find. It is definitely understated signage. The only service I wish they provided was massage. Other than that i really enjoy the experience here and I don't mind a 12 month contract. You cant get these quality services separately for less, any where else. read more
