Bought my Car some where else, but have taken my car to Champlain Chevy for years as they use to…read morehave the best service department. Recently i have spent 4k plus on my vehicle to only have issue after issue. First it was only one wheel barren gone to find out it was both. Told us it was driver side but was both. Then it's bring the truck in Tpms sensors for my aftermarket summer wheels they used a short socket on a tall lug nut Damaging them In the spring. They did order new lug nuts however not what I originally had and didn't care for them. then bring my car in for summer tires and an inspection then cancelled the inspection few days prior ( we cancelled as I had a crack in my windshield knew it would not pass) and ask them to replace a tpms sensor while doing the work. They do the inspection even though we cancelled it and did not put the sensor in so they had to pull it back in. Then in the fall bring truck back in to put stock wheels on for the winter they put the aftermarket lug not on the stock wheels. when stock lug nuts where sitting in the floor of the truck. Which I did not mention where there but a mechanic should know you can not put after market lug nits in stock wheels. As was admitted by the service manager you can not do that. We en up having to change them ourself in the dark in our driveway as we needed the truck for morning. Then the truck goes in and 2300 dollars for a brake job to be done this spring all new parts and e- break parts and they scratch the shit out of my rear driver side door to the point it needs to be repainted and they use touch up paint to cover it up and basically say good enough and the rear fender panel has some damage That they buffed out That looks ok. this place seems to be headed down hill not sure what happened. I have had multiple Conversations with the service manager and we even had a conversation with Brain the owner. With admitting there was a issue with one person but said they have delt with and we are still experiencing issues.

After crossing the parking lot and going into the correct building we were warmly greeted at the door and brought to a pre-owned specialist salesman. Our Salesman was Scott Colan and he was extremely helpful. We told him what vehicle we wanted to look at and he got right on it. Let us review the Carfax report while he brought the vehicle around to the front. After we decided to buy he was very proficient. He answered all my questions. Also I like to joke around a bit and he was all for it. Relaxed and willing to talk about prior work, where he lived, kids, favorite TV shows ect. He was not trying to rush us through anything. Overall I would say we had a satisfying experience.

Would have liked to give this a better review as my son in law called this his go to mechanic. I…read moreneeded rear brakes in my Journey and I usually have a friend doo them and I help him. I was called by the owner and told I needed brakes and rotors all around even tho I had just replaced the front rotors and pads last fall. I gave him the ok and got sticker shock when I saw he had charged me $ 300 labor for a job I know should take less than an hour for all four wheels. He races cars and had wrecked his car a day before so maybe he used me to repair his race car. Regardless he does do good work but at $300 an hour labor I'll go elsewhere next time.
