I have stayed at this location for over 5 years but after my last stay this week, I will not be returning. The location is great but there is nothing spectacular about the hotel. They offer no free buffet style breakfast or at least drinks. The cleanliness is not the best and let's not start with the staff which can be rude. Why do they charge $10 for parking when it used to be free? There is no security watching the cars so why? They even charge taxes on the parking!! They charge taxes upon taxes so check your bill before you leave! This place used yo be affordable , which is why I would stay their old staff was great now they have youngsters who are rude. The parking was free now it's not. Way to go greedy Marriott! read more

I was looking for a hotel close to the airport and one with an airport shuttle, I was so glad I picked this hotel. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quite. A big plus for me was the airport shuttle. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. It was nice to have a place on site to be able to get food. I would definitely stay here again. We were picked up at the airport by their shuttle. They do this "on demand" so a quick phone call to the front desk with our gate lot location and the driver was there within 5 minutes. It was spacious enough for 4 people's luggage and a wheelchair and very comfortable. The driver was professional. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely young woman who could tell we were all just exhausted. She was super kind and made the process very easy. She also gave us all a bottle of water, and put us on the ground floor (we have a party in a wheelchair, this was greatly appreciated. We didn't even have to ask her she noticed it and handled it!) The room was perfection. It was spacious enough for all of us and a weeks worth of luggage. There was a lovely courtyard accessible by a sliding glass door. Plenty of movies were available on the telly for entertainment. The room was clean and extra pillows were delivered when asked. We called to get a wake up call and schedule transport for 3 of our party to the airport at 6 am. (Again, they said the airport transport was "on demand" so I wanted to make sure we left at 6 for an 8:30 flight out of SeaTac) We had a wake up call that came exactly on time. We arrived at the front desk for our shuttle at 6:02. The person at the front desk said the shuttle had already left (which I found odd, if it's on demand....) but she ordered a Lyft that arrived in less than 2 minutes. We got to the airport at 6:12 so there was plenty of time. Overall- excellent experience. I can't comment as to the breakfast available as we had to leave by 6am and breakfast doesn't start until 7. I would recommend asking for extra packets for the coffee machine in the room as they only provide 2 packs with powdered cream and sugar. If anyone in your party takes cream in their coffee, both packs aren't really enough. (I'm sure they would have provided more if asked but we were on a time crunch and didn't bother to ask) read more

I love this Courtyard. It's updated, modern but super comfortable, and the staff here is always terrific. I often stay here and take advantage of their park and fly package. It's nice to be close to SeaTac for crack-of-dawn flights. Rooms are spacious and the work area is convenient. I appreciate that they don't have the tiny shampoo bottles, etc and have switched to dispensers. A small feature but every bit helps! The Bistro has some tasty offerings and is reasonably priced, too. read more

Had an issue at the Doubletree Southcenter (do not stay there). I have status (that I won't be using anymore) at Hilton, so only came here because my coworker was staying at this Courtyard. The lady at the front desk said they were booked. I asked if I could call my company travel agency inside because I didn't know where I was and needed to find somewhere to stay. After hearing me tell the travel agent of my horror story at Doubletree, she called a nearby Courtyard without me knowing. She kindly let me know and was able to get a room there since most hotels in the Southcenter area appeared to be booked. She arranged their shuttle for me. I cannot thank her enough for the service and for being a good human being! The world needs more people like her! read more

DO NOT USE THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE! We have been Marriott loyalty member for many years. This is the worst experience ever. We called 30minutes in advanced after our flight arrived to let them know since we have a 3 years old and a 3 month infant. They said there was1 shuttle just left and we notified them where we were waiting. So, 20 minutes in the cold wind with a hungry baby. Then, we saw an empty COURTYARD shuttle passed by us without stopping. We called the hotel and they told us to wait for another 20 minutes. We had to bring our hungry baby back to the airport and feed him, so my husband had to grab our car and drive back to the airport and picked us. If you do not want to wait for another one and another one shuttle to pick you up, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! And also we will not stay in this hotel anymore! read more

This hotel is very clean,updated and conveniently located to restaurants within walking distance. You can either have it your way and walk to Burger King or Thai it up with spice like we did at a nearby Thai restaurant. There is a Target, Starbucks, Total Wine, dollar store and many more all within a short jaunt. The mall is within walking distance as well. The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable and a free shuttle to the airport is available, just notify the front desk of the time you would like to leave the night before. Shuttle leaves at the top of the hour. They suggest leaving 2 hours prior to flight departure. A bonus is a flat screen displaying all the flight departures for the day and two computers to either side of it with a printer in between. This hotel is located 15 minutes from the SEA-TAC airport. This a great hotel to book closer to the airport when looking to fly out of SEA-TAC. It is roughly half a 30 minute cab ride from Pier 66 in Downtown Seattle. I'm sure it's cheaper to use Lyft or Uber, but we paid for a flat rate cab for $40. Staff was nice and friendly, the hotel is nice and the rooms are super spacious and clean. Stayed here last week for 3 nights for the first time. Was not impressed, for $300 a night??? Rooms NEED updating. These are S.F. prices guys. While the bathroom felt clean, the rest of the room felt grungy and worn out. My room had a cracked dirty window I could hardly see out. It did have a fridge, but sadly and weirdly the door opened on the wrong side of inner cabinet, so was difficult to use. Even my check in was only ok, both Agents were on the phone while I was standing and waiting, one actually got ON the phone after I walked up geeez. They didnt ask me about my rewards number either, I had to mention it myself. Still not having seen credit for that stay on my profile a week later I had to contact customer service....check your rewards, dont trust them to credit it. AND they never emailed my bill to me, so AGAIN I had to contact them to get a statement to be able to process my expenses. If my company wasnt paying for the stay I would have checked out and found a nicer place to stay. read more

Probably the worst hotel stay ever. First, DO NOT STAY ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!!! Especially if you are a woman or by yourself with kids. I stupidly forgot to lock the balcony door and around 4am I was thankfully awake and heard it open. I yelled "hello? WTF?" and someone responded back asking if I was hungry and saying they had meat to sell me. I screamed "no" and they left. I called the front desk. I'm assuming it was a homeless person. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. Secondly, I have 5 bug bites on my back and stomach and one on my finger. If I could give this hotel negative stars I would. read more

Platinum Elite with specific requests to be on the top floor and away from the elevators. Staying here for 8 days and they put me on the middle floor by the elevator and right across from the ice machine. Refused to put me on the top floor when I requested even though I asked to not have to listen to people walking above my room. They said there would be nobody in the room above me during my stay. I have had horribly loud noise all night from the people in the room above me. I have also been kept awake by people getting ice. Sad that this hotel is so horribly noisy and that they can't put a platinum elite member in one of the rooms on the top floor. I would recommend never staying at this hotel. read more

They get a F for terrible public relations. I pulled over in the parking lot to Make a phone call. I turned my car off but left my lights on. Anyway, my battery ended up dying and I needed a jump start. I had cables and just needed some help. I contacted the front desk. The person at the desk informed me that they have limited staff and can't leave to do a jump start. He suggested I contact a cab company to help. I'm very disappointed, he didn't even ask anyone if they could help me. It literally would have taken 5 minutes to give a jump start but no one could help. Needless to say, I won't be staying here. This is a pretty standard courtyard... while there isn't a bar, the front desk does have a pantry that you can raid. The gym is decently equipped. There is a free shuttle to and from SEATAC. Speaking of which, here is where the staff really impressed me - the front desk manager rode shotgun in the airport shuttle, and actually checked everyone in during the ride back to the hotel! She asked each of us our names and rather we'd like a high or low floor, facing the courtyard or the exterior, and then she radioed back who was coming and what their preferences were. When we arrived they handed us our cards and we were set! I thought it was a really nice touch. My husband travels a lot for work and has stayed at many Marriott facilities to the point where he has Ambassador status. We decided to stay at this location so we wouldn't have to drive 2 hours before the butt crack of dawn from our home to my surgery scheduled in Seattle. Our catalytic converter got stolen while parked in their lot overnight the morning of my surgery. While I am fully aware that parking lots are "park at your own risk", It's 2022 FFS and they don't have cameras in their parking lot or security even though according to their MOD, "catalytic converter theft is a huge problem in the city". She also stated they staff "overnight guys" but I have no clue what they do other than NOT watch the parking lot or trespassers. She was purposefully evasive when asked if it happened here before, asked pointed questions that seemed to imply that some (if not all) of the blame were on us (ie. Where in the parking lot did you park? Did you reverse in or pull straight in?) and was decidedly unhelpful & unapologetic. All she offered was for us to contact corporate to "let them know so they can document it". Basically she spent 10 minutes blowing smoke up our asses that translated into "that's a you problem, not a me problem and sucks to be you". What the hell is the point of having an MOD if all they're going to do when there's an issue is refer you to nameless, faceless people in some other city who may or may not even contact you back? Marriott's day manager at this location needs to be retrained at customer service or get another job working in a windowless cubicle where she doesn't interact with other humans. This company doesn't care how much money you're spent with them or that you were a loyal customer to their brand. read more

Three stars for the updated lobby, Starbucks coffee 724 , competent friendly staff, and location. Finding peanuts, the edible type, on the floor of my room not good. I'm not talking one I'm talking 5+. Makes you wonder what else did they skimp on when cleaning the room? Fitness center: How about updating the treadmills, have weights over 15 lbs., and a cleaning solution to wipe down the Equip. Oh another plus a super turbo flow shower was welcomed in the AM. read more

Booked a few rooms and a meeting room for work trainings. Colin was great through the process getting our rooms reserved as well as settikng up lunch. We went with a selection of items from the bistro and everythijng was great. The food was brought in exactly at our lunch time. Coffee and water was replenished timely and the room was perfectly set up for our group of 13 in the Puget Sound room. read more

I can say I was very surprised by this hotel. Arriving and checking in was a breeze. Parking was simple and nice. But once getting in the room, noticed a few things that were a bit confusing and puzzling. Noticed at the entrance of the room, there was an extra card scanner. At first, didn't know why that was there along with the one at the door. After getting inside, saw that the bathroom did not have a bathtub or glass door. But it had a plastic/rubber seat without a basin. So, a showerhead and a portable one. The main showerhead was kind of low, so had to bend down a little to use the shampoo and conditioner. Realized at that point, it was a room designed for the disabled. Not sure why I was assigned to that room since I hadn't requested a special room or mentioned that I had a disability using the employee rate from the HQ office. I mean, it wasn't anything bad, but kind of caught me off-guard since I had never been in that kind of hotel room before. Also, the bathroom smelled of mold or wet towels. In the category of moderately priced hotel chains I have become accustomed to a few amenities. This hotel has no complimentary ANYTHING. No breakfast. No coffee. No ibuprofen or comfort items. No USB charging stations in the rooms. NADA! They nickel and dime you for the most basic amenities. In a market where other chains are lining up the perks for choosing to stay with them this hotel is totally lame. I'm usually all for a courtyard by Marriott stay when I travel, but this stay was just terrible! Bathroom floor REEKED of urine, the room smelled like sweat. When I told front desk that the bathroom smelled terrible, all she offered was extra bath mats to cover the floor. You'd think they'd offer a room switch or a maid to come up to clean it or something. When we asked for extra pillows since their pillows are super feathery and not firm at all, and they said they "didn't have more than 2 extra pillows since nobody was able to wash the pillows yesterday." When my mom ran into the housekeeper when we were checking in, she asked for an extra box of tissues (my little sister had a bad cold), and the maid rudely responded that we have to request it downstairs at the front desk. So, we did. And they said they "don't just give away boxes of tissues," and she handed us the box she had up front and said take as much as we needed from that box. Last Christmas we stayed at the other courtyard on west valley. They were clean, courteous, offered us water when checking in. I suggest stay at that one, and avoid the poor customer service at this courtyard! read more

We have been on the road traveling from Sun City AZ to Mt Vernon WA for the Holidays and have stayed in hotels along the way. This Courtyard by Marriott is by far the nicest and cleanest we have stayed in along the way. Nice balcony and the bed is amazing.. a full breakfast tomorrow morning before our last leg north will top off a great stay at Marriott and a great trip north. kudos to this whole staff for how we were treated and the cleanliness of their entire hotel. Stayed here with my boyfriend when we went to Seattle during the winter. The hotel is 20 mins away from the airport. It's close by to a shopping center, restaurants and the business sector. It's also 30 mins away from downtown Seattle. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean when we came back from our day. The complimentary toiletries were from Paul Mitchell. There is no continental breakfast... But there is a place to buy food if you didn't want to go out and eat. I do have to say the bed was comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. But there is no heater in the bathroom. The reason why I gave it 3 stars because they didn't have a continental breakfast, but it's still a nice place to stay. read more

We just had a two-day meeting for 35 people at the Courtyard. Not only did we use a meeting room, but we had a block of sleeping rooms and had the hotel serve lunch on both days. I plan a lot of meetings and the staff at the hotel, especially Colin Chidester, did an amazing job. They took very good care of us and made sure to accommodate everyone's dietary requirements. I do a lot of meetings in different cities and this was by far one of the easiest. I highly recommend using this property and working with Colin. Great job!!! read more

I'm a big fan of Marriott and of Courtyard hotels and stay at Marriott properties anytime I go anywhere. This Courtyard is pretty nice, but they pissed me off. I'm sorry, but changing me from the room with 2 queens that I reserved to a "suite" with 2 doubles does NOT count as an "upgrade" in my book. I specifically booked the room HERE so that I COULD get a room with 2 queens. None of us slept very well for all the elbows in the face and knees in the back crammed into the double beds. In hindsight, I should've gone and requested the original room I reserved, but it was late and we were tired and it was only for one night, so we just went with it. read more

This is not your average Courtyard - it got a swanky upgrade and is so fun! They have a great lounge area with books, games, multimedia center, and tons of comfy seating. The new cafe serves up fantastic eats - such a step above a "hot, continental" breakfast. Made to order, creative options. Rooms are good, comfortable beds and varying pillow options. I had a pleasant weekend at the Courtyard Seattle Southcenter. They were currently renovating at the end of Nov. Our rooms were nicely cleaned each day. They also had a breakfast set up in the morning downstairs (not sure if they do this everyday). There was a waffle maker, bagels, cereal, fruits, etc. There is also a computer/snack room located downstairs as well where you can use the printer for free (eg. print out boarding passes). The front desk person was very nice. The hotel is also walking distance to the mall and other restaurants. read more

Nice traditional Courtyard property about twenty miles equidistant between downtown Seattle and Tacoma. Very convenient with the Westfield SouthCenter Mall just across the street, chock full of shopping and excellent restaurants. The Courtyard van will drive you to locations nearby! I found it a nice change after three days at the downtown Westin Seattle and its $13 for internet fees - internet here is complimentary. It's a perfect place to end a Seattle vacation and avoid the airport rush. You can turn in your rental car the day before, relax, have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and let the Courtyard take you to the airport in the morning! read more

The staff in this hotel were fantastic. They worked very hard to accommodate us as a group of 20 there for a soccer tournament. They made sure we had everything we needed and were kind and thoughtful. The hotel was clean and had great amenities. It is laid out strangely but otherwise a great hotel. read more

If I had not found dried/washed blood stains on my pillow and no response from management I would have given this hotel 3 or 4 stars. As a Courtyard, it has the usual Courtyard amenities and a very nice patio for sitting out for drinks or reading. It is off the beaten path near a mall and close to the airport. Check your pillows before staying. read more

Stayed here after a red-eye flight on our way home to the East Coast from Hawaii, and I'm very happy we picked this place. I knew my husband and I would be in early (our flight landed just before 8 a.m.), so when I called the hotel the night before to ask about early check-in, I braced for a "sorry, you can't check at 8:00 in the morning," because really, where can you check in that early? Apparently it's possible here. I was thrilled to get off our red-eye flight from Hawaii, jetlagged and exhausted, and be able to take the hotel shuttle from the airport to a place where I could take a nap. We had booked our room as part of a package promotion that granted us free breakfast. Unfortunately, and we didn't realize this until check-in, the hotel breakfast doesn't begin until 6 a.m. We were taking a shuttle at 5 a.m. the next to get our flight home, so we would leave before breakfast. The desk clerk worked with us to allow us to use our free breakfast coupon the day we checked in, rather than the day we checked out. It was a big help, and made me feel like they cared about keeping our business. The hotel shuttle service was fantastic. We were able to take the shuttle not just to and from our flights, but to and from the Link Light Rail station nearby (the easiest way to access downtown) as well. Shuttle service runs on top of every hour, then whenever it's available, it seems. We called at 12:30 to request the shuttle to the light rail station for 1:00, but they said it was available right when we called, so we went then. The only negative thing about this hotel was the wait to print out a boarding pass. I mean, I should have expected that, being an airport-area hotel, but then the hotel should expect that and not have only two computers (which seem to double as a business center) available. I had to wait about 25 minutes while other people finished up. read more

This Courtyard is a very nice one, meeting the Marriott Courtyard standard. In addition, the staff are friendly. I would like to mention Damaris, who picked up us from the airport and served at front desk. She is so friendly and nice that we are very impressed. Besides, the view and the outdoor design is very beautiful, taking advantage of the plants around. The mix of the color from the buildings and the plants are gorgeous. It feels like it's located in the middle of the ghetto and suburbia. Maybe located in ghetto-suburbia? The staff and General Manager are the BEST!!!!!! They take the time to know your name. I even made friends with the chef and my cleaning ladies. The rooms I were given were fairly large. They provide a free shuttle from the airport to hotel. It is a walk away to the newly remodeled Tukwila Mall. read more

Horrible, horrible place to stay for $300 a night. My parents who are between 70-80yrs old were leaving for a cruise and needed a place to stay before they left. They could have gone a cheap route but they needed bell service because of their luggage. Well NOT only did they not have Belle service but no one would help them. Needless to say my dad had to carry both luggages to his room with a bad hip and knee. He walks with a cane so this bothers me so very much that no one would help. He not only had to do this when he arrived but asked what time he needed to leave his luggage out so they could put it on bus and they told him you need to bring it down yourself. This hotel was recommended by his travel agent and so I called and let her know that this hotel is NOT worth the $300 and they should not be sending anyone to it. My dad says they waited for 40mins for the "snack bar" . He would have rather ordered room service but they didn't have it. Again for $300 a night they should have a lot more service. My dad called the corp office for some sort of refund but "nothing they could do". So I said fine and told him I would put in a yelp review as this isn't right. So I would suggest finding another hotel If you are shopping at that mall or boarding a cruise ship. read more

We found this hotel through hotels.com. Stayed for $89 / night. I wanted to comment because the hotel was nice and clean. I had friends over and I the helpful front of house staff was able to accommodate me by giving me two chairs from the ball room. Thanks! They have a nice little store with snacks, drinks, and toiletries. We didn't swim in the pool or use the workout room but I liked that the hours were from 6am-11pm (I don't like hotels where the pool closes really early)... I wish they'd make it 24 hours since it doesn't really seem to affect them, but anyways... read more
