The bathroom was down the hall. It was a little new for me to share the bathroom but is seriously was not that bad. There was restaurants close by and Walmart is about a mile away. Even for someone as directionally challenged as I am, downtown Indy is incredibly close! There's fast food in every direction and, most important, the Speedway is within walking distance. They had an airport shuttle and it was convenient to where the event I was in town for was occurring. I flew in, grabbed the shuttle which made one other stop first, then was at my hotel fairly quickly. Some coworkers drove in and they agreed it didn't seem like the best location, but the price was right. The staff was totally awesome and let me check in early. The room was nice and clean. It also seemed like it was close to the speedway as another coworker picked me up and we went to Daredevil Brewing which wasn't too far away. Go there for the pizza! I'd stay here again if I was in town, but I don't know if I could convince others to do the same. Maybe if I was driving, it wouldn't seem as isolated from stuff.

The TV was small but good enough to watch something. The pool room does NOT have a hot tub like the website I booked it on said it did. The gym is at best rubbish, it has a treadmill and a bike machine. The pool heater was not working, the ice maker on the second floor didn't work, the shower didn't have hot water it was Luke warm the first night and flat out cold the next night. There was nothing crazy like bugs in the room or bed bugs but there were several things that didn't work or lacked. If you do go to Quality Inn I'd bring these items, 1. Hand soap 2. Body Wash & Shampoo 3. Your own blanket 4. A Roku, Apple TV, etc. These things should make your experience slightly more enjoyable but all in all, this hotel is not the best and I wouldn't go there.

There are not enough negative stars to give this hotel. It is a complete mess and should be shut…read moredown immediately. Upon arrival at our room, it was filthy and unkept. We checked the beds, and there were stains on the linens and bath towels, which were on 2 in our room. The paint was peeling from every covered area and from the holes in the ceilings, with plywood and mold covering the holes. The outlets were exposed, and the covers were lying on the floor. The water had to run at least 20-30 minutes before it was warm, not hot, but warm enough to shower. Not to mention the stained sinks and tubs. The emergency exit sign was dismantled and not connected. The fire alarms are probably not working as well as the yellowed, unkept sprinkler system. The entrance doors were damaged, and no keywas needed to enter any of the side doors. My room key and the people I was with could use their room key on my room as well as other rooms. NOT SAFE. Breakfast was a joke, but after everything else, I would not attempt to eat anything there. Cereal..no milk, coffee...days old and cold....no fruit/yogurt...bread/muffins....stale, juice machine out of order. The ice machine is filthy and out of order. This is one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. I did ask for a refund so I could leave a find somewhere else, and they said no. So much noise so hard to sleep
