On our way from Springfield to Mt. Washington, this Courtyard in Lebanon was in midpoint location. It was in calm quiet area, right next to a plaza that had a supermarket and liquor store. It was also 12-15 minutes drive from busy area of West Lebanon where that has Valley Spring mall, Walmart, Home Depot and bunch out retail stores and restaurants. The hotel had beautiful modern lobby area. But the room was not as new. Furnitures and the bathroom were older designed ones. Everything in the room was fully functional. The water pressure in the shower wasn't good though. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. They had free parking, with lots of parking spots all around the hotel. read more

A solid Courtyard Marriott in the area for a night stay. The staff definitely earned a star for this place. They were so nice and friendly. We bought a bottle of wine from outside but realized we didn't have wine opener. They opened it for me at the bar area (I tipped). The front desk personnel always greeted me every time I passed by. Helped me with my requests. They absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time during the stay. The only part I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower. The temperature was not steady either. Other than that, standard amenities, toiletries, water for the members, gym, no pool tho. read more

Stayed here for a medical procedure at Dartmouth Hitchcock hosp. Did not get the hosp. discount. In fact, the price of the room doubled because of the long weekend holiday and was denied the discount. Room was meh and smelled like disinfected and I could not get the heat to work properly. The bathroom had a vent that was on 24 hours a day with a loose fanbelt part (or something) that kept me up all night. Absolutely no water pressure for the plumbing at all. You would think at $400.00 a night they could give you a breakfast you did not have to pay for, or a coffee for that matter, (unless you stayed in the room.) Staff not very friendly. Marriot should think less about greed and more on comfort and needs of patrons. Not recommended. read more

Stayed here Jan 13, 2026 (Room 316). The hotel did not disclose that extensive remodeling and industrial fans were operating throughout the building; noise was extremely loud, air was uncomfortably dry, and temperature control was poor. One elevator was closed for construction and the remaining elevator malfunctioned repeatedly, forcing guests to use stairs with luggage and causing me to be late for a medical appointment. Internet service failed overnight and the hotel phone went unanswered. I contacted management for a refund and received no response. read more

We made last min resv on 1/5 for the following night 1/6 we had early morning cancer surgery at Dartmouth on 1/7 and there was an ice storm coming in the morning of 1/7 that would make travel difficult. They somehow charged us for 1/5 Said we were a " no show". I was told to call back to speak to the manager. Very rude and unprofessional she would not listen to reason and insisted we were suppose to come on the 5th. Poor customer servce didn't even want to look into it. They never ended up issuing the charge for the 5th but instead charged the credit card I used to to hold the room for 1/6 and my uncles card upon arrival for the the stay. One charge was $183.37 and the other exactly $240. so we paid twice for the night.They just make up prices.They quoted me $169 plus tax when I booked it. i have contacted my bank. I feel like I entered the twilight zone. HORRIBLE !!!!! read more

We usually come to the area this time of the year and decided to try a new hotel and we are absolutely pleased with our choice. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The room we stayed at had a queen sized bed along with a couch area. We really enjoyed the room. The lounge area was quite ample with a business center, a small dining area where you could purchase food and dine at. They also have a small gym to be able to get a workout in. Overall the hotel is very nice and convenient, close to the highway and major routes. We will definitely come back when we visit the area again. read more

Theresa at the front desk was outstanding! I had spilled salad dressing on my shirt during my drive to the hotel. Upon check-in, I asked if the canteen sold Tide pens. Instead, Theresa had the shirt laundered. It was delivered to my room looking brand new. I felt like I was at a JW Marriott property instead of a Courtyard! The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. read more

Great service and friendly staff. When booking your room please do NOT call their reservation line, speak with the front desk ONLY. Reservation line will screw up your entire stay, or may not even book your stay. This happened to me. The staff here was able to correct that mistake, luckily, or I would have been sleeping in their lobby or my car. read more

Worst experience w a Marriott property.. and we have lifetime platinum status. Find another place near by and don't stay at this one. (Hilton is down the road) False advertising and their front desk lady just doesn't give crap//doesn't even pretend to try. It's a motel 6 level of hotel charging Marriott brand pricing. It's a real shame. We are a family of 4, booked the room as 2 adults and 2 kids. They won't bring in an extra roller bed; so my kids are sleeping on the floor. read more

The room was clean and quiet; the bed was comfortable enough; the staff was pleasant. It loses a star because bathroom plumbing is in serious need of replacement. They came up to fix the toilet when I reported it, but it was back to constantly running within hours. read more

I have to say that I prefer this place to the historic Hanover Inn. My wife will kill me if she ever reads this. My kid's a first year at Dartmouth and between the campus visit a couple of years ago, the Fall dorm move-in, and a visit in March, I've stayed there 3 times. It would have been 4 but it was already sold out by January 1st for the First Family Weekend in May! This Marriott was no cheaper but is very nice with an indoor pool, new fitness center, killer business area (great for homework) etc. it also encouraged us to explore places to eat like the very cool 4 Aces Diner. I've eaten at Murphys, The Pine, Lou's every time I've visited. Note: the Marriott is only if you rented a car. If you Dartmouth Coached it into town you need to stay in one of the downtown Hanover establishments as Uber is virtually nonexistent. read more

Although it has been several years since I brought one of my soccer teams up from New York to play in a tournament at the Cardigan Mt School in Canaan, I feel I need to write and give this Courtyard credit for two great stays (I have also had individual friends stay here and they had likewise great experiences). This is a very well run inn. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was enough to satisfy a middle school soccer team with picky eaters and having free passes to the River Valley Club (where I was a member back in my NH days) was an added plus. The hotel is comfortable and clean. I would give it higher marks but the breakfast is horrible... and the management is bad...do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on food here. Soggy under toasted toast and microwaved egg sandwiches.... yuck! And NEVER add the breakfast on the hotels.com website. When I asked for a refund for the remaining days.... the hotel stated to hotels.com if I did my room rate would go up. The breakfast was an add-on, not part of the negotiated price for the room. NEVER AGAIN! I woke up everyday with a back ache! I haven't had back aches in 20+ years! Room definitely needed a new mattress! Couch in the room was very uncomfortable! Had to wait 5-10 minutes before flushing the toilet for a second time. At those prices, totally ripped off! read more

What should have been a perfectly fine overnight stay was marred by the absence of coffee in the lobby! Apparently they have a contract with Starbucks which precludes such a necessity. When we checked out at 4 am there was nothing at all available-not for any price. Of course there was the usual kit in the room, but that produced really unspeakable stuff. Other than the failure to provide coffee, everything was fine, and the fitness center was above average. read more

The front desk was very accommodating. I had a last minute business situation, and I needed to get a good night's sleep, so I asked for a quiet room. The front desk gave me the perfect setting. Obvious attention to detail. Everything was clean. Much cleaner than the Residence Inn which is, comically, only about 100 meters away. read more

I stayed at the hotel on 3 different occasions. On my second trip Jan 08-Jan 13, 2023 my son traveled with me. He packed our belongings (I was at work and have severe back issues) and inadvertently left his Shoes (https://www.flightclub.com/air-jordan-1-retro-high-og-patent-bred-555088-063). We called back (same day) to the hotel explained that he left them and was relieved that housekeeping had turned them in to the front desk. I told the person on the phone I would have someone to pick them up however, I was unable to locate someone that could retrieve them. 2 weeks passed by and a manager called me to ask if I would be picking them up soon. I told the manager I would be back in the area around the 1st of March and He told me "lost and found is held for 90 days" so that would be NO issue. On February 27th I checked into the hotel and inquired about the shoes, to my dismay no one could find them not even the manager on duty "Kyle". The young man (clerk) that was on duty was quite disrespectful saying "We held them longer than we were supposed to anyways, to I don't know what to tell you". The odd part about that conversation is HE (the clerk) had on some sneakers that were very close to the ones my son left at the hotel. I called the hotel the next day to speak to a manger and had to leave a voicemail because no one answered the phone. The manager(Julia-I may have her name incorrect) told me she was with the "new management" had heard my concerns and would like to resolve this. She listened to my complaint and told me she would get back to me, I have yet to hear from her and that was on February 28th. I was in the Hotel from February 27 through March 3,asked for someone to check the water pressure and temperature (NEVER HAPPENED), asked for clean towels(NEVER HAPPENED), the refrigerated didn't work and no one ever cleaned or tidied my room. Now maybe I am asking to much to have my room cleaned, take a hot shower, have a cold bottle of water but certainly If I leave something at a Hotel I would ask that the staff be honest enough to return what I left. To say that I have been a Marriot customer for well over 15 years, I have never experienced anything like this. I travel once a quarter to that area but, I will think twice about spending money with that property again. read more

Your typical Marriott Courtyard, but this was the perfect choice for our family, with easy access to Hanover, NH, where we were attending multiple alumni events. This hotel is very new and clean with views of the forest in back. It has all the amenities you would expect, including a small pool and hot tub, plus laundry service. Breakfast, including omeletes and eggs made to order, are served in the large dining room next to the lobby (but are not included in the room price). The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Note: though the hotel feels out-of-the-way, a nice grocery and restaurant are within walking distance. read more

Nothing spectacular about this hotel (as there shouldn't be at this price point), but met our expectations. The only downfall wad that on the website, it says they don't have a pool. Well we got here and found a pool and hot tub. Glad it was summer, and a Wal-Mart is a few exits away. Perfectly located for visiting loved ones at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. The front desk personnel we encountered were very nice and helpful. Free shuttle came in very handy. But the thing that struck us the most was how exceptionally clean and well kept the room was. The king sized bedroom, tv, accommodations and free wifi fit the bill. The bathroom was ample, clean and the shower was great with a rain head fixture and water adjustment speed too. Very nice hotel. read more

Came into town to visit my son at Dartmouth. It was a game night so all the hotels were booked. This hotel had a two-night minimum but when our plans changed they allowed our American Express to cancel the last night which we were thankful for. The hotel although technically in another city from Dartmouth was just down the road very convenient. The hotel was clean staff was friendly. It was quiet and the rooms were very comfortable. I would stay here on my next trip. They offer a gym and laundry which was great since I have small children. read more

If you don't have a car, don't do it! The bus won't even go to a random spot on the highway near the hospital, which is where this thing is. PRO: Free shuttle ride from the airport. Just call when you arrive, they'll be there in 10 minutes. Room was very pretty. Large desk + couch with large coffee table. As mentioned, outlets on the lamps are nice for laptops and phones. WiFi is free. CON: Location, location, location. I read somewhere that this hotel was "near the Hanover Co-Op." Guess what? Apparently, sometime in the last decade, they built a second Hanover Co-Op. So, I certainly feel misled. No way can you walk anywhere from here. I feel that I have fallen prey to some misleading reunion-related advertising. As a previous commenter stated, the mirror situation is weird -- the only mirrors are inside the bathroom (full-length on inside bathroom door), so that could be a problem for more than one person. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast -- definitely better than most buffets, actually (fruit pancakes were good, eggs made fresh by cook at a little counter), so I think the $10 price is fine. (But I'm a New Yorker.) While the rooms are pretty, the lobby has been completely crapped up by badly-designed local advertising and community notices. So, if you want to know where children will be putting on a play, this hotel is for you! read more

Awful service we made a group reservation for 20 rooms made special arrangements for a team function room where kids could play and hang out and the hotel completely went back on the agreement. Not to mention the hotel pool had been broken for a week and no one notified us. It was a complete disaster imagine trapped in a hotel with more than 20 kids with no pool or activity to do. I am a Gold Marriott reward memeber and never experienced such bad serice or accomodations in my life. If u are looking at this hotel for a team outing DONT stay here. I am also emailing corperate Marriott bc the service was so bad not to mention the rooms were either freezing or boiling hot and had pullout couches had no linens NOT A FUN TiME!!! read more

The hotel is nice. Its newer, clean, quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The shuttle bus drivers are all very nice. But the front desk staff is very unfriendly, very unhelpful and very unwelcoming!
