    Red carpet to enter courtyard

I have been staying here since it's opening this trip probably my last. You pull up out front there's a trashcan overflowing trash all over the parking lot and sidewalk the out side door that I had to enter to get to my room had trash everywhere.then I get to my room it smelled like they just clean the carpet with vinegar I lived by with it

Super clean hotel. Check in was pleasant. Very nice young lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. Bistro opens at 5pm. Typical hotel fare. Drinks were strong though. Which if you're paying 8 dollars for a small drink...you want it to be. Off newer exit and not to much around but felt safe because of that. Had to get back on interstate to nearest gas station 2 miles away.

I really appreciated how I felt like a very special guest yet never patronized by anyone working there. The room was clean and well decorated, the equipment in the work-out room was up to date and the elevator was quick (I stayed on the 11th floor so that's always important to someone a bit claustrophobic). For dinner both nights, I ordered in their bar and took the food to my room and it was very tasty. When I couldn't find a soup & salad combo on their menu one night, they still managed to order just that for me from their restaurant and not charge me a service fee. Even access to the garage, which is across the side alley, is simple via their covered walkway over the alley. I really enjoyed my stay and would do it again, if I found myself in Columbia again.

The tv is so slow it took 20 minutes just for it to connect to the one tv streaming service it lets you use that you already pay for (Netflix). There's no cheaper parking around so you're spending $20/day there which is fine but wifi in 2026 not being included with your room stay is a cash grab. Oh and their elevator is broken because someone pushed a button too hard and now it's stuck. Hope whoever visits has good phone service otherwise you're sol and will have to pay for wifi per day because the hotel is too cheap to even offer that. Should've just stayed at a motel at least there you get what you pay for.

The pictures online were nice and the prices were really good. We weren't sure if my daughter's friends were staying with us , so I got a room with two queen beds. At first the hotel from the front looked nice and the front desk area was clean and they had a small area where you can eat breakfast We got our room keys and it was towards the end of the building. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the lights were flickering and looked kind of scary. But when we got to our room, it was actually very nice . Looks like new floors and the beds were very comfy. There was a table with two chairs, a microwave, and refrigerator. The TV was a pretty good size and there were a lot of channels. The bathroom was small but clean. The flow of the water could be more stronger though. Our phone in our room didn't work but that's ok. Only issue I had was when we were leaving the next day to get breakfast and our door would not lock The mag lock was off. Went to the front desk and they went right away to look at it. They gave us new keys. The staff was really nice and answered any questions we had. Another family stayed at the hotel and they loved it. I would definitely stay here again jn the future .

The lobby just smelled of strong cleaner (a good first sign) As we stepped off the elevator onto the fourth floor, we were greeted by what I would describe as the smell of raw sewerage. When we got to the room, it reeked of a combination of cleaner and mothballs. On our way out to dinner, I mentioned this to reception. I felt he knew exactly what I was complaining about, but played dumb. His comment was: "I know they were doing some plumbing in some of the rooms. I will check with the owner, maybe we could move you." Nothing ever came of it. I woke up with a terrible headache and could taste mothballs for several hours after we checked out. I should also mention that the place was unbelievably filthy. The only part of the room that was vacuumed was the corridor from the door to the beds. All corners, around the beds, and under the desk had dirt, dust and what looked like food collecting. I understand that Sleep Inns are way down market, but even at this price point, there should be basic environmental standards. This property did everything it could to discourage me from staying there again. Mission accomplished.

Otherwise, room was very clean. Breakfast was unexceptional but sufficient. Didn't appreciate the $6 "hospitality fee" tacked on for "parking and room supplies". (We did not have a car, and took one shower.) Small dollars, but petty and left a bad taste. By the way, today, the Federal government passed a law banning "junk fees" at hotels. Owners of hotels like these brought this on themselves.

I genuinely have very kind sentiments to the entire team. They are so kind, caring and nice. One of the front desk team members had a pup that went through the same illness as our sweet pup. Our pup adored her and would look for her every time she was at the hotel. Says a lot when a pup goes out of their way to say hi to someone. The woman at the front desk would also ask how our pup was doing when I was staying there and the pup was in the hospital. She was a kind and friendly face every time. While they are other hotels closer to CVETS this is my preferred hotel not just because it is pet friendly but because I found the rooms and space to be clean. The woman who puts out and tidies up the breakfast is very kind a lot of folks just seem to walk by her but I always stopped to say hi and ask how she was doing. She is such a friendly smile and does a brilliant job. When I was there you would never know how many folks had come and gone from eating. She was on top of it and kept everything tidied. Come to think of it I do not recollect a time where anything was out of stock or needed to be replenished. She was there tending to it before any of the items emptied. They had gluten free items available off the top of my head some of Udi's muffins comes to mind. I am not sure what else. Rooms were always clean and tidy. Never did I come across anything less than ideal or not fresh in the room. LOVE their beds similar to mine at home and very comfortable to sleep on. I really liked that the side doors all needed key card access. They also all closed and secured. I was very happy and felt safe because of this feature. If you forget your card, you can always walk around and go through the front. But I liked that the sides were secured and you genuinely had to use your keycard to access. Used my mobile key most of the time and worked perfectly every time. All the air conditioners worked great! Even staying in the hottest part of summer was always perfectly comfortable I liked the layout. Found the rooms quite quiet. It was easy to have DoorDash delivered. I just had then drop it off at my room. However, you can have it left with the front desk as I saw that happen a few times in passing. They do charge for parking but that was made clear to me from the time of booking. Parking lot is clean and nicely lit. Which I appreciated especially when taking a pup out for the last tinkle of the night. There is a pet waste disposal bin and pet waste bags too if you are out of then on your leash. There is a little store in the front. My bills were all accurate and points credited in a timely manner to my Marriott Bonvoy account. (Which I have come to appreciate as that is not the same for every Marriott property.) TL;DR Loved the staff, nice hearty breakfast and clean. Would stay there again, recommended to CVETS for other out of town patients and would to anyone else in the area. Liked their beds and bedding!

Truly. They were kind and accommodating throughout my stay. I realized that on my final morning I was going to have to lead a large video call right at checkout. I didn't want to have to try to do this in the lobby and so was so hopeful I could swing late checkout. The desk clerk quickly got it set up with little muss or fuss, which I very much appreciated. Some helpful notes: + There is a metal plate below the shower head (on the floor of the shower). If the shower drips, it sounds a bit like a bell. The best fix for this is to close the bathroom door before you go to bed. Otherwise, you make awaken in the middle of the night wondering for whom the bell tolls. And, why is it tolling in your room? You'll be half asleep and confused. No need for confusion--I have cracked the bell mystery for you in advance. Close the bathroom door and you won't even hear it. Beyond that silly note--a top notch experience here! Get to it!

There were lots of water related issues. The dish washer did not work. The refrigerator leaked and had water standing in it. The water pressure was low in the bathroom sink, and it was also low in the kitchen sink. Their building (possibly the HVAC system) was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. It sounded like a cross between a 16 wheel truck, a huge old rusty fan, and a space ship. There was still a lot of noise when we turned off the air conditioner. I was told that we could change rooms, but we were exhausted. I also doubted how quiet any of the rooms would be. So, I bought earplugs from a pharmacy the next day, but those didn't work. After the second night, I got heavy-duty earplugs made for concerts. Those worked for the noise and I could sleep. But you can't wear them for days in a row if you want to avoid ear aches. The hotel staff promised that the engineer would look into the noise problem. I never saw or heard from an engineer. They did not seem to care to make sure we had pots and pans. We needed them to eat dinner. They had 3 pots that looked like they had survived a war. Non stick surfaces in a peeling pot is not healthy too cook in. I asked about replacements and I was refused. The front desk clerk insisted that they had to be ordered and could not be taken out of an empty room. I was also told to talk to the manager in the morning about ordering pots and pans. There was no thought for the fact that we had to eat dinner that night. We make our own food when we travel and this was a very big inconvenience. We never got pots and pans even though we stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. They also gave us a hard time when we requested a late check out. They told us to call back the next day and that we could only get late check out based on availability. The next day we had to call many times to get the check out. The front desk had many people there. Standing in line was not an option with our busy schedule. So, we were made to work for our late check out. We had many other things to do that day including packing out. The management didn't seem to care to make sure that our stay was comfortable. If they did, they should have made sure that supplying guest replacement pots and pans is not an issue. Every ask was complicated. One day we asked for a chair. Two people should have two chairs in their room so they can eat. I don't know why they were so reluctant to supply an extra chair. They surely didn't seem to care that we are high level Marriott Bonvoy members. I do not recommend this hotel. They don't even try. They think they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there. I will not return.
