Nice hotel. Not sure why I was looking for it to be bigger rooms. However it is a very nice hotel. All the amenities you will need for family gatherings or just a week or weekend get away. The pool is area is nice with plenty lounge chairs. The water is so warm as if the it is a heated pool. But the Boyton brash heat here warms the water fast. You do not want to get out of it. The faucet was leaking when i got to the room. I notified the desk and it was fixed within 20 mins. Great staff and friendly. Very clean hotel but the area coming in from the pool needs the area had a mildew smell. But it was shampooed that afternoon as if they read my mind. For that reason only I can give the 5 stars they deserve. read more

This location is very convenient to a lot of shopping and restaurants as well as the highway. The main problem is that it's still under renovation so you have to deal with some of those inconveniences. The upgrades are starting to show as the rooms as more modernly decorated. The lobby is not accessible from the front door while they build the porte cochere. The staff was very friendly. We didn't partake in the pool but it looked nice. I would stay here again. read more

I needed to stay a single night in the Boynton Beach area so I chose this hotel because I'm a Bonvoy member. This is a hotel in a shopping plaza, which is a little odd. Checking in was quick and easy and the lady who checked me in was friendly. The property looked decent, but dated. The room I got looked like it was refurbished within the past several years, but was still lacking in outlets and USB charging. The shower floor caulk was stained (yes, this is something I look at, it tells me how well they clean and keep up with the property). Bed was comfy and the HVAC worked great, but was only the louder side. Elevators were horrible, they took a long time, as it appears only one was working, so I used the steps mostly, which wasn't fun as I was on the top floor. Overall, it was an adequate stay, but there was no water in the room, nor given to me at check-in. Parking was mixed with people in the shopping plaza or the Buffalo Wild Wings next door, so it got tight. I'd probably stay elsewhere on my next trip to the area. read more

I came here for a conference that was held in the banquet room. I don't believe that the Marriott provided the food so I can't comment on their catering. Our room door lock was broken- couldn't close to the door so we went to the front desk and asked them to send someone to fix it or if we can change rooms. We were told they would send someone. Not sure if they did or not, but when we came back from dinner it was still broken. We could get it closed if we played with it for a bit. The bathroom was absolutely filthy so I took photos of it. Only one small trash can next to the table (not even in the bathroom). One elevator broken and the other was about to break. We decided to take the stairs after hearing scary noises in the only one elevator that was working. It's run down. Our room didn't get cleaned although we saw a cleaning lady hanging out talking to a friend in one of the guest rooms. The hallway smelled like marijuana. The pool towels were toddler-size. Starbucks was only open in the morning. Parking is shared with Buffalo Wild Wings and kla school. Jacuzzi was excellent, pool was ok on the small size. What's shame because it really is in a Great location close to great restaurants. read more

The Marriot brand takes a big hit from places such as this. An old Holiday Inn with severely dated rooms this dump should be totally renovated or knocked down. The difference from a modern Marriot property such as on 6th Ave in Delray and this is startling. After complaining about the uncleanliness of the room and showing the manager pictures I was offered another room or a reclean which I opted for. Not going to check out and start looking for a new place now and the location is really great so I will suck it up and make do. On the plus side there is a Starbucks in the lobby, a decent workout room and a really nice pool area with hot tub. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings and a Brus Room for sports and wings etc to the south within 100 yards and to the north is a plaza with 5 places to eat. On Congress between Gateway and Boynton Beach Blvd there are probably 20 places to eat and drink and lots of stores. The mall is super close by too. The great location is worth 1 star. Unfortunately it takes a complaint to make things right. Judging by the hit or miss reviews the person after me will probably say its nice n clean. LOL. Management here is putting out fires. Running around responding to room complaints. If you opt to stay here do a little room cleanliness inspection first. My pictures tell the the story. read more

This place isn't bad .. 4 star cause the towels and beds linens are not great but other than that it's fine . There is plenty of places to eat around here that are a 1 min walk . McDonald, bw3 , Cuban , Brazilian , Vietnamese. There's even boba tea ... what more do you want ? Shopping also walking distance , kohls , cvs , big lots .. there's even a barber shop in the strip . Looks dope too , there was a group of them playing cards outside it . the parking lot in this hotel is huge and connected to all the other shops , it's in like a strip mall . The pool area is very nice . Grounds are clean . I wish I would have brought my rollerblades, this parking lot would have been perfect . Plenty of space away from cars to do that . You can bring your dog . I've seen a few on the property . I love that . This area seems pretty safe and the locals are friendly. Is it as nice as some of the other Marriott's ? No, but you can bring your dog . Don't let the negative reviews deter you from staying here , it's not bad . For the price , you are a short drive to the beach and you can have your furry friend with you .. I'd say it's a win read more

When family are in town this is normally the go to location. Not to far from PBI or FLL airport and easily found off 95. Guest can be close but not to to close to me lol and have plenty of food and service options while still being close to the beach. Staff mostly polite and facility always clean. The hotel is best for travels that don't spent much time in hotels. Mostly a safe space to sleep and change in between events. Perfect for a convenient and comfortable stay. read more

I wish I could leave a lower rating. I made a reservation on the app while evacuating from Hurricane Ian. When we realized we couldn't get out of our town safely I called and cancelled the reservation less than an hour later. I was told there would be no fee charged and all was good. Now they're changing their minds and charging fees for same day cancellations. I stay at Marriotts about 200 nights a year for work. I called Marriott's Bonvoy line and they told me there should be no charges; all fees for cancellations were waived during the hurricane. Great. Then, this particular property owner/management reached out again to tell me that despite what Bonvoy said, they are refusing to waive the fee. This establishment is run by insensitive money-grabbing jerks and are ignoring the Marriott policy and charging everything they can. DO NOT GIVE THIS PROPERTY ANY BUSINESS!!!! read more

I am very disappointed with this Marriott location, furthermore, the operations manager, Alex and the general manager Patrick. Not only are they rude and very unprofessional, they are inconsiderate and lack compassion for the disabled, which I am and they were made very aware of that. I had stayed for about a month with no issues then I filed a formal complaint due to their unprofessionalism and they took it personally. At which point they made my stay very difficult for a week thereafter and had me forcibly removed by law enforcement even though I paid for additional days. They said, along with law enforcement, they would reimburse me the funds which they did not. I therefore had to go to my bank and dispute the charges. I asked multiple times why I was being told to leave, and they refused to give me an answer. They are poorly trained and need to be retrained in customer service. I am extremely disappointed as I had also filed a few complaints to the above management with Marriott and have had no phone calls nor emails to address this horrible and stressful experience I had. read more

We love this location. The staff is soooo friendly and helpful. They are currently remodeling and we can't wait to see the improvements. The food area is small but the food and service was great. Don't do it. Lobby is somewhat nice. The room was a musty disaster. Smelled like damp mildew. Who knows what you are breathing in. Tub and shower haven't been cleaned ever. I stayed here for 2 days and must admit that while the lobby is nice and the pool area/grounds look great, the rooms themselves leave a lot to be desired. I am a Marriott rewards member and I've stayed at Marriot hotels MANY times over the years. The decor in the rooms seemed dated. The first room I was given had some weird odor in the bathroom and they didn't offer to move me. They sent some guy who poured some freshener around and said, "I don't smell anything." I moved to a new room the next day that seemed to be somewhat better. MARRIOTT beds are usually awesome but these were not - overall the location and stuff outside the room are better than the rooms themselves. Also, the rate wasn't bad if that matters. I wouldn't say it's horrible. I would only say my expectations for Marriott were a little higher than this. read more

After traveling all day from out of state, I finally get to the hotel at 3:45 am only to be told that my reservation had been changed to a different hotel (15 minutes back the way I just drove) due to a maintenance emergency. I was told I should have been notified via voicemail and email. As I had been flying, I did not receive the voicemail and the email was so vague that it did not even say who sent it. I quite literally thought it was spam. I was then informed that I would have to check out of the second hotel by noon. After I did not arrive until after 4 am. As a former Marriott employee and current frequent traveler, it's very disappointing to see how far the Marriott standards have fallen. I stayed at the courtyard by Marriott in Boynton Beach Florida. I was visiting my son and grandchildren, & its location was very convenient to their home. The first night I was searching thru Yelp to find coffee shops and restaurants nearby. When I came to the review of my hotel, since it was a definite pan; I read on. I searched all "troubled areas" in my room, found nothing, but perhaps a need for renovation and I went to sleep on clean sheets & a nicely made bed. The next morning, I was assigned a new room 404, since 434 was too far from the elevator. The exchange was done by the staff, this room was also comfortable and very clean. This is the first time I felt obligated to insert my pleasant experiences after reading the other horror stories. I hope this reviews balances out the untruths the were posted before. Pleasant professional and eager to make my stay most comfortable. read more

Ok, just had the worst experience with a Hilton and found the Marriott on Congress which was a whole lot better! Clean Clean Clean..........very clean hotel and room. Our Hilton was an imposter, I've stayed in many Hiltons and the Hilton doubletree near the airport Please stay away from. Musty mold smelling rooms. and not appealing what so ever. We walked in and walked out immediately. Left the hotel and called the manager the next day for a refund. This Marriott was a God sent....it was the middle of the night after leaving the Hilton to find this very clean Marriott. I give it a three star due to not being updated only! "Avoid Room 137 like the plague!!" Do not stay here if they give you a ground floor room, especially near the rear of the hotel. You will be woken up between midnight and 12:30 am for trucks delivering hotel supplies, and by 6am for staff accessing the supplies. Car alarms each night going off.....it's like the back parking lot is the wild west.....certainly do not park back there under any circumstances. Hotel management lacks empathy about the issues...as if they are so well accustomed to these problems. It doesn't surprise them when you share what you experienced. Patrick the GM couldn't give the courtesy of even getting back to me after I specifically asked to speak with him about the matters. Though the web sites says they offer breakfast upon check in no breakfast and no options they should comp Something offer things wrapped or a gift card to go to a local restaurant. However the staff was really nice. We can't blame her for what is an executive decision. So corporate knows they can probably get assistance if they were or are affected by covid and pass that on but lesson learned. At all cost DO NOT stay at this hotel. The location is tempting. It's in a prime location. However, you may wake up to NO running water!!!! Yes NO RUNNING WATER!!!! woke up this morning 8/27/2019 at 8am and to my surprise there was no running water to bathe myself and 2 kids. Hotel in need of remodeling, as it had strange old door in room... Did not feel clean even though bathroom looked acceptable. No free coffee being offered, libby has a coffee place but that is all. Staff very friendly, which made it pleasant to stay here. Beds smelled funny, so was not able to sleep relaxed. Walls are paper thin and we could hear entire conversation next door as well as bathroom symphonies... Hotel has a nicer pool area which looked relaxing from our third floor room, better choice as no insulation between rooms. Stayed here for a couple days on business.. After looking at the reviews, I was a little nervous but I must say that my stay was better than expected! This is an older hotel, but the location is PRIME! On the main road you have ALOT of restaurants to pick from, there is a Buffalo Wild Wings in walking distance, practically like 1-2 min away, and there is a Publix right down the road as well! Everything in the room was clean, and the employees at the counter where friendly.. It was kind of odd though, because the workers in the hall didn't speak or look at you! It was like they were instructed to not have any interactions with the guests unless spoken to.. Another complaint is there is no HD TV channels in the rooms! Sheesh, in this day in time, no HD?? The Courtyard Marriott is an excellent location for a group meeting. My company spent 2 full days of training in one of the rooms which was equipped with audio visual, internet and water. The tables and comfortable chairs were set up classroom style and the temperature of the room was cool. The staff was so accommodating and really helpful. I can't say enough about the staff - from the front desk to the cafe staff to the gentleman that ensured we had everything we needed for the duration of the training. The staff is amazing! Side note - we were in the room right across from the pool and I wanted to jump in. I would highly recommend staying at this location. read more

Moving sucks. We stayed here since we planned to close on our home one day and close on the other home we were moving into the next day. Since we had all of our ducks laid out in a row, it didn't go as planned. Gracefully, we had a roof over our heads and a bathtub to take a shower in during this process. Our room had a nice king size bed, couch, desk, tv, and extra room to walk around in during our stay. The hotel is very clean and even has a nice bistro and pool area to enjoy for added entertainment. The hallways were so long though. We were placed towards the end and we had to go from the entrance of the elevator to get to our room. Since we were not sure what our situation was at the last minute and had to stay an extra night, we told the front desk that we were looking at closing on our home the final day. They extended the time to a couple hours later for the check out time. Since we didn't close until 6 p.m. that day and didn't need a room for that night, the hotel still charged us partially for it with our stuff being in the room. Ridiculous, but that's what they did and it was expected to get paid without any concerns addressed. This made a very interesting experience staying at the hotel. Despite all the crap that happened with our closings, we finally were able to get out of a hotel and go to a new home to live in for a very long time. I would recommend the hotel for the service and the cleanliness, but the management reeked on the consideration for what was going on after they were well aware of the situation. read more

This place is the biggest dive marriott I've ever stepped foot in. Patrick, the general manager was so rude and kept interrupting me when I was telling him our experience. We were woke up by the upstairs bathroom leaking in to ours. Their solution was shut the bathroom lights off. We weren't offered a new room and were treated rudely by the GM, Patrick (see in photo). To top it off, the entire property was dirty and run down as you can see if the photos. The hot tub and pool actually had trash floating in it. We couldn't even safely walk our family dog on this "pet friendly" property from all of the broken glass. The guest upstairs were out smoking on their balcony and woke us up at 2:30 am and people were smoking weed at the pool. Totally disappointed I had to pay a single dime for this stay. read more

I'm a Flight Attendant and this is by far one of my favorite hotels to stay at. They offer Complementary Internet in the Rooms, Lobby, & Gym (I take my iPad with me so I can watch Netflix!) as well as Computers with Free Printing in the business center. I also Love the fact that they have the coffee bar set up 24/7 so if I feel like having a cup in the afternoon or evening I can grab a few flavored creamers and brew a fresh cup in my room. read more

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a family wedding in town. The hotel is just OK and a little disappointing for a Marriott. The bathroom was clean but very outdated. The room itself was small and had little room to walk around with just two people. There was no breakfast due to COVID; however, they did mention they had a small area where snacks and beverages could be purchased. There are restaurants within walking distance so getting a meal wasn't difficult. I wouldn't stay here again just because the quality wasn't up to Marriott standards in my opinion. read more

Been staying there for many years when visiting the area. This place has gone downhill and I would. Not recommend anyone staying here until the place is gutted and redone. It is old and beyond its time The room thermostat won't get any cooler than 72 and when we complained they said that's how it is. The furniture is falling apart in the room . The TP holder is broken. The sheets barely fit the bed and there is a blood stain on it. Flat out no housekeeping despite number of nights spent here and blame it on COVID. Not even an option to have it There are other options in the area fortunately I called Marriott to complain as well and surprisingly they didn't care either read more
