There, you will find places to eat and shop and if you bring young children (or maybe old ones), they'll have a blast panning for gold. Make sure you try the home-made ice cream and the town's home brewed root beer. Before you depart the airport, make sure to check your weights & balances and the weather. The density altitude leaving could be hazardous to your health.

Their invoice clearly stated that the cancellation policy was "Cancellation penalty 10% of deposit prior to final payment". This policy was also clearly stated on all the invoices of the other family members that booked the same cruise. When we decided to cancel because of Covid-19 she told us our refund would only be $.20!!! When I challenged Maureen Dinnocenzo about the policy she quickly sent me an email with an altered invoice with the same, original invoice date but with a modified cancellation policy that now stated "Cancellation penalty 10% of cruise fare prior to final payment". This is grossly illegal and unfair and I would not trust these people with a penny of your money. Always book direct and you will be treated more professionally and honestly and be given the respect you deserve. I have photos of the invoices but it would not upload them sorry, you will have to trust me.

Shout out to Renee as one of the Vendors too, she was handsdown one of the best decisions we made regarding the wedding. You will regret not booking her for your wedding/event. This was truly a memorable day and a huge reason for this was the people involved and the location. We didn't have to worry about random people showing up to our intimate wedding like I've seen happen at other venues. It was spacious enough to for a large wedding party without sacrificing comfort, we loved that we felt tucked away into nature while still having "city accommodations". And I must add, the view from the casita is unmatched. Best view on the property. I loved that it served as my bridal suite! I can't say enough about Airola Vineyards. Truly, our wedding was just enchanting. While our guests were originally skeptical about the location (many had to drive 8+ hours) once they arrived they all thanked us for the invitation because it meant they were in such a beautiful location. I'm surprised this place isn't better known and while I want to be selfish and not the let the secret out, I would be doing humanity a disservice if I didn't shout Airola Vineyards' (and it's staff) exceptionalism from the roof tops. We forgot our bialetti and were worried we wouldn't be able to have coffee but the tiny homes had Bialettis as well as kettles, air fryers, great sized fridges, plus the cutest decor! We also had the most amazing assistance with staff who are on call, help with where to get my car fixed, great recommendations for breakfast and sites. We felt so looked after. There's so many areas to explore nearby, but also just using the pool/BBQ/Pickleball courts at the main house was so much fun. It was an incredible weekend and highly recommend to anyone wanting a little get away.

I found Courtwood by searching online, and I'm SO happy I found Chris @Courtwood! I was a little bummed I didn't find any available tours on their website, so I reached out via email. Chris promptly sent a reply with pricing, details, and that it would be quite packed in Murphy's, so she would take us on a private tour around the outlying wineries (good call, none of the wineries were too packed and we had a lot of "private time" at each vineyard). Chris picked us up right out front of our hotel right on time, had a smile and made sure she knew who the bride was and made her feel extra special! We stopped at Twisted Oak, Chatom, Ironstone (for lunch), and Aryael Vieux (TOP FAVE!! I'll be reviewing these wineries soon). Chris took care of everything, all we had to worry about was sipping wine and having a wonderful and relaxing time. Hanging out with Chris was like having another friend just along for the ride! We picked up a loaf of fresh bread at one of the wineries, and mentioned that we wanted to get some butter later on, Chris told us she needed to pick something up too and that we could come with her! I was…read moregiven the task of setting up a wine tasting tour in the Murphy's area for a bachelorette group of 9 people. We stayed in Angel's Camp in a friend's cabin, and being unfamiliar with the area, I completely put my trust in Chris to arrange everything for us. She exceeded my expectations (and made me look like I had done a lot more than I had!) She asked a lot of questions about our group and the types of wines we liked so that she could tailor the tour very specifically. Preferring the boutique wineries to the large scale Ironstone types, Chris took us to six different wineries that ranged significantly from Twisted Oak, to Prospect 772, to Aerial Vieux. As a large group Chris coordinated with Kristen, who also leads tours in the area to caravan us around in their large air conditioned vans. It seemed like she had personal relationships with the various winemakers and their staff and was able to get us some kind of behind the scenes cave tour/vineyard tour/private tasting room access everywhere we went. I have to say the best thing about the day was the lunch. Chris set it up on a long table outside Chatom winery and it literally looked like something straight out of Sunset Magazine. She brought local cheese and interesting dips, and the salads were presented in ball mason jars. It really was so well done, I think Chris might have a future in putting on lunches in addition to taking tours! After the tasting, Chris and Kristen took us into Murphy's, waited for us while we had dinner, and then took us all the way back to Angels Camp. I highly recommend Courtwood for small and large tours alike. Chris was just wonderful!
