Did not install a drip leg or sediment trap NFPA54 code violation. Used black pipe to flex to black pipe to flex back to black pipe just hanging and actually laying across furnace. Used 6 individual 6" pieces of black pipe coupled together instead of just one 3 foot piece . Several fittings leaked. Tech used general purpose mastic for couplings (not approved for propane) On at least 3 occasions Wright techs were in attic to see this install mess with no notice to home owners of improper install and safety issues.. After several propane leaks were discovered by an independent plumber just 3 days after a Wright technician stated system had 0 leaks, charging $ 89.00 and failing to leave an invoice.. We paid $1,200 to re pipe from original black pipe to furnace and install a sediment trap to code and eliminate the safety hazard caused by Wright sub standard install. The plumber videoed and documented all the leaks and code violations. Several leaks less than 10 years due to sub standardard install. Please get an independent inspection if you have used Wright heating for a propane furnace install. Could save your life. Please use a company whose techs know and follow National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and recognize violations when they see them, even if their company did the original install.
