OMG - GOOD BARBEQUE!…read more We were hunting for a place for lunch in Dixon, and my wife suggested this place. Good suggestion. I ordered their Pit Smoked Pork Sandwich, with the optional more expensive Truffle Fries. Let me start with the sandwich - oh, was it soooo good. Hot, tender, and the BBQ sauce was outstanding! The Truffle Fries were nothing to trifle about (excuse the pun). They were well-seasoned, tasted great, and were nice, hot and fresh. My wife had their Texas Cheesesteak Sandwich, again with the Truffle Fries. She really enjoyed her sandwich - she said it was very tasty. The menu showed 4 tacos, the menu said you get 3 and what I got were two slightly stale shells wrapped in tin foil with my entree. The service was good, but In my opinion the food was just average. I guess technically it's mostly a bar, in which case it's probably better than most. The atmosphere is casual, but for what we paid ($108 for 4 people and 1 appetizer) seems like a lot for what it is.
