The plumbing company called about a week in advance to schedule the appointment. Typically, I receive a text reminder before their visits, so I expected one to come through within the following few days. Unfortunately, with everything I manage across multiple rentals, the appointment slipped my mind. I was later informed that an $85 no-show fee had been charged because no one was available on our side. I asked whether they could waive it, especially since no reminder was sent, but they were firm and even played the original scheduling call to confirm the appointment. Moving forward, I recommend finding another plumber who either does not charge no-show fees or provides proper appointment reminders. I understand I missed the appointment, but I also believe a reminder would have prevented the situation. read more

This company used to be a reputable company under the old ownership. No company does business this way. You didn't fix or finish our job and left the toilet in our bathtub with no water. The guys who showed up to unplug our sewer line were pleasant but couldn't get it taken care of. They were told to pack up and get to another job when ours wasn't done. Who does this???? We called several companies and none of them have ever heard of someone doing this and then want paid. We have advertised for you and everyone we talk to can't believe you did this to someone let alone a disabled person. read more

I had problems with my drains and called Countryside as it appeared that they had a good reputation. I was told I would be called the next morning but heard nothing so I called them. Angela that I talked to was very professional and helpful. They worked me in during the afternoon to clear the outside trap. They did do this but in the process they turned all of the water on in the bathroom and left. I was alerted to the sound of water running out of my sink and all over the floor and out into the hall. I turned it off and ran out to tell them. They came in and helped me clean up the flood and then ran the line under the sink. As they were getting ready to leave they were trying to make it appear that the flood was all my fault because I had not told them the sink drained slowly. Neither wore masks or foot booties. They got the job done but not without considerable stress. I now have wet carpeting and water that seeped down into my crawl space. read more

P & R from Country Side Services came out today and used a camera to go up our drain spout outlet to see where the problem was. They ran into a section that was crushed.....and since the camera has a locator on it, they found exactly where to dig it up. Our drain spouts are running find now! Very nice and competent. Update : Called them again for another drain. This time one person came out, spent about 10 minutes here, pointed to where the drain was clogged, but didn't seem at all interested in fixing it. I figured we'd save money by doing it ourselves, so I said "we can dig it up ourselves I guess". Then we got charged nearly as much as last time (where two people spent 50 minutes here!). I had to have my waterline rerouted due to a leak under my garage. Countrywide came out and gave me a quote on the job stating that it would take about 4 hrs to complete the job and would charge me $600 which included parts and labor. After I dug the trench and opened up the wall in my spare room so they could attach the new pipe to my existing pipe, it took them a little more than an hour to complete the task. When I received the invoice, they had charged me $400 for labor amounting to $400/hour. I don't know about any of you, but I don't know of anyone in a service profession that should be paid that kind of money. When I requested that they reduce my bill by at least $200.00, I got a song and dance about how although the actual job only took a little over an hour, I had to pay for their shopping spree to get my parts. Come on people!! When I let them know I was quoted the job would take 4 hours, they ignored me stating that they did reduce my bill by $24.00 so it would be the $600 they quoted. I would never recommend this company to any one and will never use them in the future. read more

They need to tell people that they can't handle tree roots or get better equipment. We've had them come a couple of times for an irrigation clean-out and on both times they couldn't get the job done. But they still charge $200 or more. read more
