The project was designed, approved by the county and installed in a matter of a few weeks. Aesthetically, it was outstanding; one wouldn't know it is there, and the price was much less then their competitors. And to top it off they are great people. I just had a little problem with my toilets backing up and my Plummer suggested I start with checking the septic tank. It was Saturday at 12:30 noon and Sand Lake Septic came out within half and hour. My tank was fine he said, but he cleared the line between the tank and the house ..... and said everything would be fine. It is. I would recommend calling Sand lake Septic for any septic issue or if you're doing new construction.

When the new company came, they noted that our electric box that was in the tank for the wiring of our pump and alarm system had not had a waterproof box and the box itself was completely full of water. The pump and Alarm were also put on the same circuit which caused an issue. The pump tripped at some point and due to the alarm being on the same circuit the alarm also tripped so we had no idea our tank was full when the company came. The pump and alarm should have been on a separate circuit so that this issue did not occur. They went downstairs and quickly diagnosed the issue and were careful to call me down into the basement to check what they were doing and then explained the cleaning operation. They were in and out of here in ~ 35 minutes. It was good I called, as the issue was a build up of food grease and soap scum that had solidified and needed to be broken up and flushed out -- it wasn't an immediate problem but I averted a problem not far around the corner. Very friendly, polite. patient and anxious that I understood exactly what they were doing -- major points for directness and honesty. He was here in about 70 minutes (fair enough, I live ~30 minutes east.) He was polite, efficient, corrected the problem, and gave me sound advice. Despite the several negative Yelp reviews (I called Long because the Google reviews were mostly positive, and because they are specialists in the Heat/air system we have.) I am quite glad I was able to see past the many negative reviews (though, knock on word, my furnace didn't require a significant repair.) The person who initially took my call, also, was very polite and professional. Btw, the charge per hour on a Sunday, was $225. I am not made of money, but I thought that was quite fair (have you ever called a plumber on a Sunday?) I am likely to become a regular Long Energy customer.

Knowledgeable, competent and reliable…read more I first started using Mulyca Septic when I needed a chimney installed on my septic tank. The company I regularly used for pump outs was too busy/not interested. I called Mulyca, they came out, installed the chimney, pumped me down and charged a reasonable price. I've used them ever since. Usually I have my system pumped in the spring or fall. This year, in the height of the dry weather, they noticed my grass was dying past what I thought was the end of the tank. They suggested I might have a graywater tank that i didn't know about, and since the system is 13 years old, recommended that I should have it also pumped. We dug up the dry grass, and sure enough, there was a chamber there that I didn't know about, and it was getting solids built up. Pumping this out probably will extend the life of the system, especially now that I am aware of a maintenance requirement. They pumped out the graywater chamber as well in a visit that ended up lasting 2 hours (locating, then freeing up the chamber lid which was stubborn, having been in place for 13 years). They only charged me the normal price for a pump out. All of this on a Saturday morning. I'm a consulting engineer, so when it comes to recognizing competence in building mechanical systems, I know what to look for. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a septic service company.
