First I have to say this Plumbing Company has been my go to for years...they were always…read moreprofessional, detailed and reasonably priced and I recommmended them to ALL my friends with problems. Just ACES in my book. However...yesterday, they came because in my limited abilites I could not stop my toilet from running, They were courteous and did the work...but then the bill came. They replaced a FLAP...the total bill was $265.85. The flap charge was $29...I spoke to Chris who tried to explain to me that the $55 was a trip charge that covered gas etc...the LABOR charge was $181.85. They were here 18 minutes. He said maybe they charge by hour...Two guys just made $90 each per hour, Total included taxes....so $265.85 to replace a flap...I was extremely reticent to even post this as I said above they were "The Plumbers", but I can not afford to use their services again. I know we are all suffering finacially right now but this was just not okay. Time to learn some plumbing tricks!
