This is a well diversified and designed store. It's all arranged perfectly. No wasted or disorganizing going on here. I spent some time talking to one of the owner's. This store is mainly supplied by vendors where as the other major antique shop in town is supplied mostly be estate auctions. Either way is fine by me. These folks have also set up a veteran's area for them to congregate and spend time together and enjoy free coffee also. I freely award 5 stars to this place. I normally don't like to wear used clothing and don't purchase any. I came to the conclusion that it's one thing to love the mission statement of this business ( all profits go to families struggling with childhood cancer ) and another thing to financially support it in some way! I saw some nice quality, old furniture that would have been in most southern homes a hundred years ago or more. On hand also are farm pieces from the past; items that likely came out of an old country barn. This establishment will reopen tomorrow and my intentions are to revisit them. I looked them up on Google, I tried to call this store everyday for 2 weeks. No one picked up the phone. So I searched them through Facebook. I finally got through to what I believed was the owner. In short she was rude! Due to the coronavirus they are not open normal hours. So on multiple occasions I attempted to pick my items up, but they were not open. I finally had the chance to get to the store at a time that I was not at work and they work finally open. There was some form of miscommunication. And I believe because I didn't pick my items up in time I was given a partial refund on my items by wish. Partial! The woman proceeded to tell me that the items had been returned. And because they had been put in the return bucket, she decided to keep the items for herself. Yes you're reading that correctly. She kept the items for her self! Apparently the items had been refunded on the 19th of December. I arrived at her store when she was finally open on the 21st of December. I had a very blank expression. I didn't know what to say. So I said whatever. She exploded, told me you can have your items delivered to your house! I said I will. The woman then said get out of my store!! I said I am. The woman then said don't you ever come back in here don't ever come back in here again! I said I won't. She Then followed me out the door ranting. I was in the parking lot on my phone trying to pull up My Wish app for a resolution to my issue. She continued to rant next to my car. I had to roll up my windows. The icing on the experience with this business owner was the middle finger she proudly raised as I pulled out of the parking lot. I don't recommend you waste your time going to the store. All of this bad behavior because I said whatever. Honestly I didn't know what else to say. What do you say when somebody tells you they're keeping your items?

The manager ( Dave? ) micromanages his employees to the point I don't understand why anyone still works there! There's a "second in command " lady w a mullet (idk her name) who is AWFULLLLL!! Not only does she price crusty old coffee cans at 4.99 and used burnt up spatulas at $2.99 she reprimands the staff on the floor in front of customers she's nasty and if she speaks to her staff like that in public I can't imagine what she says and how she speaks to them in private. The store is overpriced of course as most Goodwills Are becoming, but the store organization is the real issue...the shelves are so clustered and things are literally piled in huge messy "stacks " shoved into the shelves as much as anyone could possibly fit on a shelf is there- customers can't even pick up an item to look at the price or condition without 5 items falling into the floor...it's udderly ridiculous!! If things were priced at thrift store prices these items might sell and not just PILE UP like they do...the impossible shopping conditions and the management with the nasty attitudes makes me give this place 1 star

Thank goodness there are organizations in place to take care of people in need. Who knows when…read moreunexpected life events might propel anyone to be in immediate despair. This place accepts donations and does resale many items to have funds on hand in times of need. They also locally gave a church and can help with spiritual needs. The history of the Salvation Army is quite public and there's not much I can add to what you already know. Of course I highly recommend this place!
