But once they flip it without finding the hotspot, to another searing hot area, Our steak then only gets steamed from the bottom. Crispy presentation side but beef stew brim watery bottom side. So a lack of care for the quality of meats and poor trading and quality control to send out steamed/stewey cuts on the bottom side. We may be back, but will ensure to tell the team there to sear both sides before plating

The rolls were a little late coming out but they were great. Wished we had a little plate to lay the rolls on. Needed more butter. It took awhile to get the main course. That steak was supposed to weight 16oz however it was much larger than stated on the menu. The value was amazing! We had loaded baked potatoes and green beans as sides. The green beans were flavorful and fresh. The baked potato was on the smaller side which I actually liked because it's a side not the star. Two other people at our table had the catfish, one blackened the other fried, both excellent. We also indulged in appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes: absolutely luscious with a creamy crawfish sauce Duck Poppers: spicy, savory goodness Stuffed Mushrooms: delicious blend of cheese and sausage. Well seasoned They had a server call in but let me tell you the lady who was running the front end did not miss a beat! We had 20% auto added due to the party of 6 but left extra, she was wonderful! I was kind of worried since it's a nice looking place surrounded by businesses that appear to be permanently closed. However, a crowd picked up closer to 8, so I can tell it's a local favorite. Our server was amazing! Didn't have to ask for refills, condiments or anything. She handled us really well and answered any questions we had. I ordered one of the daily specials, blackened redfish. Menu said it came on orzo, which I don't like so I subbed for the long grain rice. I added a side of broccolini. Food came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. My fish, with that Cajun cream sauce, melted in my mouth! I didn't like the rice, as it was gummy but the broccolini was cooked as if a gold medal was the prize at the end of the night! My only misgiving about it was I wanted more of it!

I got the four entree combo with a quesadilla, flauta, burrito, and soft taco, and that was 17 dollars. It came with beans and rice. My girlfriend got the "burrito loco" which was just a big burrito with steak chicken bell peppers beans onions and rice, and it was 11 bucks? our plates were the same size but her burrito was taller than my "entrees". But let me get started on the food. I got a bean burrito and asked for them to add cheese (bean and cheese burritos are like a soul food to me.) Your choices are chicken beef or beans so im not upset i didnt get meat, what i am upset about is they poured cheese queso sauce over my burrito, and charged me 1.75 for it? the beans tasted and looked like canned beans i had in tacos a week ago, and the cheese sauce tasted like sonics new queso burger. The flauta was alright but the meat tasted like a chinese food buffet? the soft taco tasted like taco bell soft tacos which was so disappointing but to top it all off my quesadilla was a soft taco with more sonic cheese sauce in it. absolutely disappointing. My girlfriend said her burrito was flavorless which her "burrito loco" looked to have the most items in it. I got a horchata and honestly that wasnt half bad but all of the other food was unfortunately mid. Will definitely never come back besides maybe for horchata. Also drinks are 3.50?? In this economy?? Ambiance was basic.
