Vintage cars and trucks add to the venues character. The barn features two large sliding barn doors upstairs and down and feature antler handles. The concrete floors include stamped planks at the enterance of the barn and a compass rose greets guests just inside the door. Glass chandeliers and string lights line the ceiling beams and large log rounds and iron work form the railings leading to two grand staircases ending at the stage. A large prep kitchen complete with refrigeration and oven lead to an outdoor space for catering vendors. A large service bar, coat closet and plenty of storage are hidden throughout the venue. Tables and linens are included in the contract. Full hook-up camping and several chain hotels are within 30 miles in either direction of the venue. It was very clean, the grounds well done, the bathroom was huge in the Wonderland Room and the entire place had lots of fascinating nooks and crannies throughout the house. There light breakfast (pastries, fruit and water/tea/coffee) plus complimentary snacks/sodas in a gorgeous dining room. There was a music room with instruments including a piano and a game room so there were plenty of places to relax in the main area of the home on the first floor. Everything was done with care. The owners were very unobtrusive so it felt more like a hotel stay. It is a gem! (The old-fashioned staircase was steep to the guest rooms so it is not ADA accessible - otherwise the place was perfect and fun!) Will return for another stay.
