Pinnacle Foundation Repair

Pinnacle Foundation Repair

Our experience with Pinnacle Foundation didn't start off the way we had hoped, and I had initially…read morebeen frustrated enough to consider leaving a negative review. However, Luis, the sales manager, personally came out, listened to our concerns, and took the time to make things right. The way Luis communicated with us, explained the process, and genuinely cared about what our home needed completely changed our perspective. We ultimately decided to move forward with Pinnacle, and I'm glad we gave them that opportunity. Foundation repair is a HUGE investment, and when you're dealing with something as stressful as a water leak that caused a sinkhole, you want to feel confident that you're making the right decision. Our project required eight interior holes and seven exterior areas to be addressed, and we ultimately chose steel piers to help protect our home's foundation for the long term. I especially want to recognize Miguel Jr. and his crew. Miguel demonstrated true leadership throughout the project. He paid attention to the details, took ownership of the work, and treated our home as if it were his own. His knowledge, professionalism, and kind demeanor made a huge difference during an already stressful time for our family. Miguel didn't just show up to get the job done. He showed genuine care for our home and the quality of the work being done. You could see it in the way he led his team and made sure the details weren't overlooked. I truly believe Miguel has a bright future ahead of him because his leadership, work ethic, and character stood out to us. Anyone who owns a home in Texas knows how challenging foundation issues can be. The cracking walls, the uncertainty, and the expense can feel overwhelming. While foundation repair comes with a hefty price tag, we felt more confident in our investment knowing what needed to be done and having a team that took the time to explain the process and care about the outcome. I want to thank Luis for taking the time to turn our initial experience around and Miguel and his crew for treating our home with such care. Pinnacle Foundation, I hope you recognize the value of employees like these men. They made a stressful process much easier, and their actions reminded us that how a company responds when things don't go as planned says a lot about its character. I'm glad we gave Pinnacle Foundation the opportunity to make things right, and I'm grateful for the people who helped restore our confidence throughout this process. I would recommend Pinnacle to homeowners looking for a team that communicates, takes pride in their work, and genuinely cares about the homes they're helping protect.

This is my second time having them out since we bought our house. The first time was 5.5 years ago,…read morewhich was 4 years after we bought it. This time was after a fairly large slab leak, where we are noticing part of the house seems to have maybe lifted a tiny bit. Both times, they were easy to schedule with. They had the soonest availability and just made it simple. Both times, they came out and did a comprehensive inspection at no cost and gave me the readout. Both times, they did not try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. The first time, we did not really have any issues. This time, he did say part of the house was higher a little bit, but that it should settle on its own in a few months and that they would come back out and check it again at that time. I appreciate that they do not try to find BS to try to charge you for when you don't need it. It's a good strategy because I will always trust them, and when there is eventually an issue, I am sure I will have them take care of it.

Some brickwork is cracked around suspended arches and cornerstone decorative pieces (e.g. above garage doors) but obviously has been for decades. I specifically called Cornerstone because I wanted a serious contractor who does actual poured footings, not that stacked cylinder mess that could actually crack your foundation worse as they use your house for the jack leverage. Dave was on time, courteous and (given that our appointment was in the middle of the Viral Apocalypse) understanding that I was working from home instead of 'off' for the day of our appointment. We spoke for a bit, he outlined everything well and asked pertinent questions about my reasons for calling, then got down to work inspecting...and recommended no work be done at this time. I offered to pay a service charge but he said that wasn't necessary. We did follow up on the phone briefly (I was busy when he was finished) and I am strongly considering coming back to them for some drainage improvements here and there as precautionary measures. Thanks for the time and professionalism.

FIRM Foundation Repair - Wall is complete!

I called Ryan with Firm Foundation to help us with a retaining wall. We were wanting it put up…read moreafter finishing our backyard pool project. My husband, whose family is in the masonry business, was skeptical before meeting with him. But boy oh boy did Ryan know what he is talking about. My husband was convinced our side yard which was a pretty steep "hill" could not be flattened out, which is what I wanted. We were building a pool and have 2 boys that needed a place to run and that side yard was all we had left after putting that pool in. Ryan came up with an amazing plan. And we were both so happy with how that yard and wall turned out. Simply stunning! The pool company was terrible and wasn't really willing to work with Ryan and his schedule. But Ryan was very patient with us and them. They kept pushing back the finish date. Which annoyed all of us, but Ryan never made us feel bad about it as it was not our fault. Oh and the pool company literally had no drainage plan except to put pop ups that would flow into the neighbors yard, which we were not ok with. And that was after begging for months to talk to us about the drainage. We asked Ryan if that's something they work with and he had a really great plan to us in just a few days. Needless to say we fired the pool company from the drainage portion of the project and that was the best decision we could have made. There have been zero problems with our drainage. Like nothing at all! It works perfectly everytime. And we never have to worry about that. And all the water gets directed straight to the curb and runs into the street, not our yard or the neighbors yards. The wall in the backyard that goes all the way to the front is gorgeous. When we ran into a potential problem with the last front portion of the wall, Ryan and his guys actually talked to us about it and we all made a decision together on the best move forward. It was such a nice change to have an owner of a company talk to us and work through a potential issue together. Unlike the pool company. (I do wish Ryan was in the pool business. If he was I know we would not be having the problems that we are having that pool company and trying to fix their mistakes.). But Ryan and his company delivered and went above and beyond what was necessary for a job. To summarize, if you need work on something that Ryan and his guys work on, hire them immediately!! They may not be the most affordable, but goodness you will not have any issues and that is worth its weight in gold!! They are worth every penny!! And in case you are wondering about his crew, they are totally awesome!!! Not only are they artists and I would say perfectionists in the best possible way, they were all very personable. They even allowed my boys to "help" which made them feel included and part of the project. I have never been happier with a house project in my life.
