I heard about this place on FB, and the menu sounded very good, a variety I didn't expect from such a small town. i liked that their daily special changes weekly. So I decided to give it a try when I was visiting from CA. I was hungry for chicken fried steak which I don't see often where I live. They did not disappoint! My order also came with a nice side salad. If that was not enough, they surprised me with a free dessert! Who does that???? I was too full at this point so I took it home and ate it later...mmmmmm, yum! I told the owner that, next time I am in town, I am going to try their Indian taco! It's a hit or miss at this place sometimes the food is good but other times not so much.

This cafe used to be a 5 star place, especially for breakfast. Unfortunately it is under new ownership with a new menu and recipes which are disappointing. I have tried it a couple of times recently, but I don't care for the food anymore. read more

This is a small place in a small town. But I was glad that my business associate and I found it. Nothing fancy but the food and the service were excellent. Neat bonus was the free dessert - a piece of cake that was brought to the table (and promptly EATEN) before our meals arrived. As they say, "Life's short - eat dessert first!" The name says it all. An 8 table small country cafe with lunch specials. Friendly, nice waitress and inexpensive menu items. I had the beef stroganoff lunch special: noodles, meaty sauce, carrots side, and roll. She also brought me a bonus dessert.
