During the day, this park looks like little more than a sparse area with a couple of trees. By NIGHT, it's a magical rainbow wonderland! One might think this place is odd because for the most part, it is wide open space. There are very few benches, chairs, and trees which is rare for a park. But this park adds a lot of personalty to the area and is really beautiful at night - it's like a piece of color-changing artwork! This place makes for some great photos! Definitely walk by at night and check it out!

It is an urban park- planks! just a few trees. It is an attempt to be a park with fewer of the park elements which I love.

A couple things to consider as you are planning your trip to Kerry Park: 1) the park is located on a extremely steep hill (you can definitely walk to it, but you'll likely be exhausted walking all the way up to the top from lower Queen Anne), 2) if you are driving it may take some time to find parking as the park is tucked away in a neighborhood, and 3) Mount rainier is viewable from the park on a clear day, you'll want to stop by on a sunny and clear day if possible (the view is still beautiful if the weather is overcast, but it's even better if it's sunny and clear). When you arrive to Kerry Park you'll be greeted with a postcard perfect view of Seattle/the puget sound, and a relaxing atmosphere. It can get busy but spots will naturally open up where you can take photos. I'd recommend going close to sunset if you can time it. Btw, if you are a Grey's anatomy fan some of the house filmed at are tucked away in the Queen Anne neighborhood.

Even though it was a cloudier day, we still have a beautiful view of the city skyline. We found street parking nearby. It's located in a gorgeous neighborhood. They have a few benches and a sculpture in the middle. It's not that big of space, but a great quick photo opp.
