Later, when my 11-year-old needed testing and she was on medical leave, I waited through an extended medical leave, just so I could have my child with someone I trust. Katy ISD told me they would pay for someone else, but I chose to wait it out. She is back in the office now, so waiting isn't necessary, BUT, SHE IS WORTH ANY WAIT. She and her staff work hard to meet their patient's schedules and needs and always do what is best for the child. She is calm, easy to understand, and both my children liked her. Phones go unanswered, and voicemail messages are never returned. When I visited my loved one, he appeared disheveled and clearly uncared for. On the rare occasions when someone does answer the phone, staff members seem completely unaware of the patient's status or needs. My loved one was admitted voluntarily, yet the facility later claimed he was there under a warrant, which is completely false. After more than a week, I still have no information about his care plan, and every attempt to get answers results in nothing but excuses and being passed around. There is no clear point of contact, and it feels as though they are holding my loved one against his will. I cannot say with confidence that he is safe or receiving appropriate care. This is a truly terrible facility, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The patients here are kept under lock down. My neighbor was not helped by his stay here. His dementia was not helped but was made worse as far as I can observe. Also family members had a hard time getting information from the staff. I can only give my worst possible review for this facility. Do not put your family member here.
