A total of $16,000 later (no pet insurance) and multiple post op visits with continued decline, the vet said "I'm at a loss" then tried to charge us for more visits post-op visit. He then offered a basic $200 genetic testing (which should have been offered first and was not) I sent numerous emails that often went un-responded for days with attached videos of her difficulty walking. When the vet finally saw us again he said to let her have free rein of the yard and she would "figure out how to use her back legs again" He dismissed out concerns for her instability and fear of further injury. I reached out to Jaymie the office manager who was initially responsive but it turned out she also blew us off. I informed her I felt like they just took our money and could care less about the outcome, my dog now drags her back legs and can not stand at all and she is only 6years old. I admit the emails went down hill from there fast....but the incompetency and lack of concern once they had our money was heartbreaking to say the least. Here we are 3 months post-op and now just prior to Christmas I need to explain to my 3 boys why we will probably have to put her down. Don't be fooled by any response to this review by the business, reach out to me if you want proof. If you experience anything less than 5 star service, I recommend reaching out to the owner ASAP. This company is more concerned with $$$$$ than helping your disabled dog. They will even go as far as going after you for "copy righted" material (wheelchair pictures) people post in dog health forums. They won't let you sell or give the wheelchair YOU bought to another needy dog unless it is through their company, at least not when they catch wind of it (they have plenty of time to search online in different cities for these things) Disappointed. Shop other dog wheelchair companies, there are better wheelchairs for less money out there. I found the chair to be cheap and easily falls apart, especially for larger dogs.

They have since blocked their FB Messenger, deleted this from their FB page, all while not responding to my emails to rectify the situation. "UPDATE : I was the adopter mentioned above, placing an application for this specific kitty since she looked so much like my beloved Tortie that had passed almost 4 months ago, while this cat was not yet listed on their website and still in quarantine. Otherwise I was not yet planning on adopting just yet, but when I did I had intended on an older cat to provide a happy remainder of their life, as well as a companion kitten for enrichment. I expressed all of this to the Adoption Coordinator. After being told the Bengal mix would only be adopted out to someone who was knowledgeable about the breed, I did hours of research and found that my Tortie had prepared me well, as she also had similar characteristics and wanted a raw meat diet primarily. I emailed them each week day inquiring about the Bengals' well-being in the facility and that I would dash out to meet her, and together, choose a fur-buddy for her once I got the word from them. Yesterday I received an email (6days later!!!) that my application had not yet been processed, that the Bengal had been adopted out to a random person who already had an approved application (who, mind you, was clearly already planning on adopting and would have chosen another kitty), and that Talbot still had many other cat to choose from if I still wanted my application processed! What a tragedy! Not only was I going to adopt 2, learning of the exotic breed I was going to make a healthy donation. So Talbot was only able to, in this instance, adopt out 1 rather than 3 cats. Absolute ineptitude and irresponsibility, I am livid!" I do not recommend this organization to any of you.
