When I returned to pick them up, Susan told me that one of the watches didn't need a battery it just needed to be "shuck up" because it was an older watch and had been sitting in my drawer for a while. It needed just some movement to start ticking again. How honest is that? She could have charged me for all three batteries, and I would have never even known. Wow! I also had some jewelry with me. Some needed fixing, and a few pieces needed an estimation to see if they were worth selling or repairing. This just shows that it's worth supporting small local businesses. I brought in a watch for a battery, simply request for an established jewelry store- apparently…read morenot. After having it longer than expected, the watch was returned with diamonds missing. Then, after two weeks, the battery stopped working. After bringing back the watch for a new battery, we were told every battery is tested and something must be wrong with the watch. There was, when they put the watch back together, the second hand was not secure, so the time had stopped. We requested a new battery and for the diamonds and second hand be replaced (to original condition). Again, two weeks later, still no watch. After purchasing a second watch and asking if they would take out links, I went in today to find that the first watch had the diamonds repair, but second hand was still missing and battery not working. The new watch hasn't been touch, still too large. For this repair, I was told that the item would be ready on the 8th PER THEIR PAPERWORK; today is the 16th. The customer service of the owner is like nothing I have experienced from a private business or larger retail establishment; it is insane. He literally was helping another customer and when the associate helping me couldn't find my watch, he told her where it was (leaving his customer). Then, she said he could not put the second hand on today, we could wait again. I told them no and I needed my property bc they have had it for over a month. He yelled across the store, in front of multiple customers, we don't put dates on repairs- they literally had a date due on invoice! Please, spare yourself a month of agony and do not use this business.
