I am so happy I found Jeffrey! Yelpers, seriously, this man is the BEST when it comes to color. He knows blonde! He knows what to do as to not damage your hair, what shade will look best on you, and even suggests a style that will compliment you best. I've been to a couple of salons in the last year, and they were good, but not amazing. Jeffrey is the owner of this salon, and he is a master colorist. He is confident and kind. The salon is fairy tale cute on the outside- it's a house :) and the inside is beautifully decorated and clean. He listened to all of my ideas and complaints from former haircuts and offered suggestions and solutions. I have very sensitive skin, and he knew exactly how to not hurt my scalp and not dry out my hair. My hair looked amazing after, and it actually looks and feels so much healthier! Jeffrey is a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project- which is awesome, and invented a hair dryer! He's not cheap, but this isn't Great Clips or Super Cuts.... And you get what you pay for. If you like my hair- go here! Even if you don't like my hair- go here :) read more

I moved to Naples last April and after 4 salons and 5 stylists, terrible colors and cuts (10 total), I found Cottage 840 on Yelp. This was my last attempt as I was resigned to trying to cut and color myself. I know what a good (senior) stylist is having had one for 20+ years and traveled 130 miles round trip to her every four weeks. I was able to get an appt. with Jeffrey and knew within a few minutes he was a master as he politely pointed out the flaws with my cut and color, which were accurate. He cut my hair like he'd been cutting it for years. I am extremely happy with the cut and color and my husband is VERY happy I'm happy! read more

Beautiful salon and amazing stylist! Jeff turned my dry, bleached hair to shiny and beautiful. The best color and hair cut. Since my visit, I get multiple compliments, daily! I'm already planning my next appointment. Thank you Jeff! read more

If you're looking for a new stylist, you just found him! My first visit, I watched as Jeffrey finished the cut and style on the client before me and already felt confident I was in good hands. As he asked me questions about my hair, preferences, lifestyle, etc., my confidence grew and I knew I was in for a real treat. I was not disappointed! My color and cut were exactly what I was looking for! Jeffrey has that unique and increasingly rare combination of knowledge, experience, and artistic talent that makes him a truly professional stylist. Add to that a charming, intimate salon with a spa-like decor and Jeffrey's interesting conversation. No, I'm not exaggerating - this is the place I've been searching for my 30 years in Naples! You will not be disappointed! read more

Stop checking reviews because you found the right guy! My hair was over processed and he took the time to figure out what I wanted AND the best way to achieve it. I've been twice now and I Can say my hair is much much healthier and the color is perfect. The environment is really relaxing too! read more

I have searched the Naples area for a good hairdresser for 2 years. I'm happy to say that my search is over. This salon is amazing and Jeffrey is a miracle worker. I showed up with severely damaged hair and a haircut that really looked more hacked than cut. He quickly convinced me that he could fix the cut and help me fix the damage. I am so happy that I found him. I highly recommend this salon! read more

I moved to Naples 2 years ago and it was hard to leave my regular salon. I asked around and found David at Cottage 840 Salon and I will never go any place else! This salon is in a renovated historic Florida cottage which is so awesome AND you will get the best hair color and style a person could ask for, that is right for you and your lifestyle. David is an artist and I am so happy every time I walk out of his salon and every day I look at my hair. I highly recommend him! read more

Look no further because this is the place to go! Being from the NJ/NY area I was doubtful that I could find a salon and a stylist that could color/style my hair like my salon at home but boy was I wrong. I cannot say enough about Cottage 840 Salon. First, the place is adorable yet sophisticated, which of course, put me at ease. I immediately noticed that the products being used were top notch - because regardless of the stylist, I've learned that the products being used on your hair are as equally important. The owner, Jeffrey, was so welcoming and immediately sat down with me to consult about my hair and what I was looking for. Between the two of us, we decided that he would touch up my base color, tone down my highlights, condition/glaze and then blow it out and it looked fabulous!! I usually try and schedule my hair right before I visit Naples but from now on, I can rest easy and on my quarterly visits to the area, I can come and have Jeffrey do my hair and not think twice about it. What an amazing find! read more
