Typical M&S employees are very well trained, with polite, courteous manners that actually feel sincere as opposed to the sunny/fakie nonsence that you get in an LA mall. Very "British". It gave us just enough energy to keep going and did at least a result in us wandering through for additional snacks at least one more time during our visit. One thing I must mention that they do as well are their yoghurts; they do a 'compot' style yoghury with real fruit at 37p which is really delicious; far nicer that Mullers fruit corners. Also their French brie at 87p is delicious. You have to not mind the crowds and you shouldnt ask the staff for help, but once you know your way around there it's a good place to shop!
