Levi’s Outlet Store - Train takes you from one end of the centre to the other, and vice-versa. I'm at Baton Rouge, where there is a train stop!

Sure enough, whenever I am travelling to Montreal, it has become a habit to visit Les Avenues Vaudreuil. Essentially, it's a huge series of box stores in a neighbourhood-like setting. I tend to visit the Gap, and Fruits and Passion the most. The deals are amazing. I have bought a t-shirt at the former for $5 and body wash for $3 at the latter. I tend to dine at Baton Rouge after exercising my credit cards and carrying all my stuff to my car. Oddly enough, I don't eat at Baton Rouge in the GTA. It's either here or in Winnipeg. I love the raspberry red velvet cake at this location. Service is always outstanding, with menus in both official languages. I revisited this place in July and there have been some exciting changes since I was last there. If you're tired of walking around, there's a train that takes you from one end of the shopping plaza to the other. Nice! There are stops along the way. I also like that there's a Sephora. It is normally housed in a huge shopping mall and not an open area full of box stores. JYSK is gone. HomeSense and Marshalls have taken over that corner. The latter grew one me when I found a pretty purple Kipling handbag. On the other end of this shopping plaza is Winners and Forever 21. I loved being in the former. I was there for at least an hour looking at everything. It's one of my favourite places to shop. I love the deals, and how friendly and welcoming staff are. (309)

The higher management of this Wal-Mart did little to nothing in terms of increasing the security/surveillence of the front of their store so when I have to quickly buy 1 item, I go in with my bike and spend less than 10 mins inside (which I have done a few times already at this Wal-Mart with no issues from cashiers/store associates/managers). Jean M comes up to me, starts the conversation with a rude, impatient, irritated and negative manner. I would not be surprised if Jean M is racist towards Asian people and/or dislikes bikers/cyclists due to the way he handled the situation with such a negative energy. Jean M kept saying there are signs at the entrance saying that no bikes are allowed inside. I told him to show me which he did not. I go check for myself and I did not see any "no bikes allowed" signs. I have no issues with not allowing bikes inside the store, the issue was how Jean M handled the situation with such rudeness, impatience and negative energy. Jean M, please learn from the greeters of this store and approach your customers with more dignity (even if the customer is in the wrong). One of the greeters of this store has been working at this Wal-Mart for 10+ years, longer than Jean M, and she greets people with more respect. I am so disappointed because I have been going to this Wal-Mart for 10+ years and the first time I ever encountered a negative/racist store manager happened to happen in this Wal-Mart. I think it is due time that I start telling myself and other people to go to Metro Vaudreuil, Maxi Vaudreuil, Super C Vaudreuil or IGA Vaudreuil instead of this Wal-Mart from now on.

The very kind and admirably helpful woman on the floor had 5 people waiting in line and the guys just told me to go wait in line then immediately ceasing eye contact with me . This is what will take this Walmart down, customers are not prioritized. Also, the renovations were designed to make me walk unwillingly through high profit areas, it smells greed and that is a major turn off. Hawkesbury has a good one though, food is at the entrance. This is one of the worst Walmarts I ever saw, with countless examples arrogant visible greediness - like no staff except at the stupid machines. Maybe it's. Walmart in general now but someday we are going to want real young people who interact and are well coached. Its the fault of the coaches really.Someday the customer will feel he is right with trained young people who pretend at least to be caring, one of the cornerstones of the retail industry

I revisited the outlet again last September. I am a Gap girl. I like the fact that I can get casual clothing at decent, reduced prices at any Gap outlet. This one is no exception. Both times, I bought some wonderful pieces. I fondly recall getting a jean skirt that had wonderful Lycra stretch to it. I got it for $10! The last time I was there, I got many nice articles of clothing, including a lightweight t-shirt that had various attractions in San Francisco, and a navy blue knitted cardigan with a hoodie. The first time I was there, I recall the male staff member cashing me out and how friendly he was. I bought a lot of items, but didn't break the bank. He gave me $50 worth of Gap cash, which you can redeem a bit later. I redeemed the $50 at the Gap outlet in Ajax. The woman there thought it was cool to see Gap cash entirely in French! I had the same experience the last time I was at the outlet. The woman was friendly and helpful. I love this location. It is my go-to place when I am nearby. (30)

I came in time of no extra sales but everything was generally 30% off compared to other stores. They have a well equipped women's, children's and man section. I saw some maternity items, but no gym clothes. Clearance items were not as many as I expected from other stores. I got some great mans shirts, that I wasnt willing to pay full price for in the store downtown. Other great thing I didnt know about: If you own a special Gap Bag, you get another 15% off on all the items, just ask at the register!

Well, not so much in the shoe department, as I still don't see a whole lot of size 11 shoes. It's the selection of Kipling purses. For a while, I have been longing for a purple Kipling purse. They are few and far between. I have a black one that I love. I managed to find a small purple one in Ottawa, which I adore. I found the same purple coloured Kipling purse at this store, but a bit larger. When I first saw it, I couldn't believe it. I held it and debated whether I wanted it. Rational me put it down and got on with my day. However, the day before I had to head home, I decided to stop by the store again. If this purple purse was there, it was meant to be mine. Otherwise, I would be okay if it went to a happy shopper to love. On Thursday, I arrived just before noon. It was there! It was mine! I now am the proud owner of two purple Kipling purses and am extremely happy. The cashier helping me out was great and friendly. She asked if I had a TJX Style card. I did and had it scanned. I paid using a debit card and all was well. The checkout area caters to both HomeSense and Marshalls. Another first was dropping by the women's washroom with a purchased item. I have rarely done it. However, since I had been out and about for at least a couple of hours, it was okay. I also wanted to declare this purse mine. The washroom was clean and spacious. It's in the far right corner of the store when you first walk in. There is plenty of parking in front of this store, both on Sunday and Thursday. I got spots pretty close to the main entrance. (257)
