Came here with my mom to buy groceries for the weekend. It was super crowded but the lines went pretty fast. The store was clean and organized. They had some items that you can't find at the US Costco. Customer service was nice. They had great selection of groceries and merchandise. There are workers that help you load your groceries in your car and you can tip them for doing that. Great experience overall! read more

On our wishlist was a visit to Costco Ensenada. It was about a 15 minute Uber ride away from the Cruise Ship terminal. All in all, this is a decent Costco. However, coming from the States, we were really looking for unique things to Mexico or the region. In that regard, it's a bit disappointing. 90% of this store reminded me of US stores. I'm going to just highlight the unique items I saw, starting with the food court. Pizza? Check. They even have the combo pizza that has been removed from some menus. The world famous Hot Dog and Soda for $1.50? Yes, but with the exchange rate, it was $1.78. I think most folks could handle that, but probably not the 14 slices of jalapeno shown in the picture. Everything else looked like standard fare except for the mango smoothie which we tried and liked. Next section was the bakery. Mini donuts seem like they're a big deal as there are a ton on display. They make it fresh in the back corner. We asked nicely for a sample and they gave us a bunch (like way too many) to try. Another unique item I noticed here was cheesecake sized Chocoflan. After that, we were in meat and deli. Two items usually only found in ethnic items - vacuum packed beef tripe and beef tongue. Right next to the normal pork shoulder was marinated pork adobado. I consider the $5 rotisserie chicken as famous as hot dog and soda. Instead of being served in a covered tray, the chickens here are sold in bags. With the exchange rate, it comes out to $7.05. We're still getting a ridiculous steal back home. The other deli items I've never seen before included shrimp shish kabobs, chicken croissant sandwiches, Italian sandwiches on focaccia, bake at home flatbreads, and marinated shredded rotisserie chicken with flavors like mole and tinga. Rounding out the rest of the interesting items in the store - fruit and veggie wash/disinfectant, shelf stable milk in tetras, smoked salmon rolled with cream cheese, Aidells spinach and feta sausages, masa in three different sized packages, different chocolate drink mixes, and of course Kinder eggs that have been banned in the US (the ones with toys in the chocolate). Do I regret going? Of course not, it's Costco. But I won't be going back if I'm just visiting. read more

MEXICO COSTCO, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE? AMAZING PRODUCTS! I guess it's true what they say, all food is better in Mexico!!! However, I didn't know it included Costco too! LOL. Okay- but really, they had such different things, and besides the Hawaii Costco, this one was on my Costco bucket list. They really have great products! A local in Los Angeles sells the glass bottle/ Mexico Coca Cola for 45.00 a case! We so happen to get them for...drumroll please...160 pesos each! About 8 USD for 24 bottles! There as some tax for the glass, but 2 cases were 25.00 and you just cannot beat that! They also have very different desserts, clothes, and ROSES FOR 8.00 for 2 DOZEN !!!!! Ah, life is just not fair lol It was a bit packed, but the lines were super fast and the customer service was great! I will definitely be back soon! Also- cool random fact? Costco is a wonderful place. You can get such great products and the fruits and vegetables are so fresh and delicious! It's harder with only two of us but we manage to get some items that work or share the huge amounts like the salads with others. It's great when we come to Mexico to find most of our regular Costco items that we find in the states! It is interesting to also find other local products that are fun to try. The staff are very nice and so patient when I speak Spanish. And many of them speak English too which can be helpful when looking for an unusual item! The woman working in the Optical department was especially helpful! Also, the food is always good! We usually have a snack after shopping. The pizza is good and the lasagna looks amazing. I haven't seen lasagna in any other Costco. I will definitely try the lasagna and hubs wants to try the pulled pork. We will definitely be back! read more

PHARMACY is horrible. Lines are 10-15 customers long. There's only 1 person working the window. They didn't have enough of my prescription so I had to come back another day and wait all over again. This is so ridiculous!! going to CVS from now on. read more

I think the store is great but trying to check a price on something in it is a nightmare. The system keeps telling me about the price after shipping. I don't need that, I need to know how much cash to bring to pick up what I want. That's what happens when you have the lowest bidder set up you computer system. read more

solid place to grab what you need when in Ensenada... i needed a pair of reader glasses so came in here. it's pretty much the same as US Costco's (with comparable prices too) food court had a few additional items...wish i had tried em. everyone was super friendly and helpful! been here twice and i imagine i will be back read more

Good to know Costco is pretty consistent on both sides of the border. Lots of parking and covers every department of goods you need. Located across from a super Soriana if you are looking for a more local grocery store. read more

Good price on booze and contact lenses. Booze made in mexico was half price compared to Costco in states, about 20% cheaper than liquor stores in tourist area. Contact lenses were similar but you dont need prescription here and besides, u can get free prescription as long as you make an appt. They take any credit cards here too. But other stuff they carry here are a bit more than states probably bc they are imported (like kirkland brand and other american brand). Didnt have chance to compare produce or dairy. Very clean like in the states. Perhaps the cleanest place in Ensenada Ive bern at! read more

They have alot of good prices. There meat is expensive but worth it. I wish they had better veggies. But everything seemed fresh. The only thing that didnt seem right is that the gurls giving samples were rude. But other then that it was good read more
