This is a pretty small Costco when compared to the other Costco in Burnaby along Willingdon.
The parking lot is spilt into two sides and do drive very slowly when there as there are just too many people and cars. There is additional parking available in the tire center area. It is covered but it is also small. I will say it is much more convenient to get a spot in the outdoor area.
The staff is helpful and friendly, especially at the tire center.
It was very busy when I was there. It would be best to get an appointment to change/install your tires first even though the website said walk-ins are welcome. The tires I wanted were out of stock, and they would need to order that for me. I was given an appointment for a week later as I wanted a weekend. That was pretty good as I was expecting a much longer wait.
Allocate at least 2 hours to change your tires as they could be backed up. It took about 1 hour and 40 minutes for my tires to be installed. Be patient and have a hot dog or two, and just browse the store while waiting.
The only area I wish it could be better is the space for payment. It is a hot mess with only 2 major lines which would then fan out into smaller lines. A bit hard to maneuver with the shopping carts.
The food area is also quite tiny. No indication of the cashier which will take order in person. It is within the 2 yellow lines. Look for that if you prefer to talk to someone and pay in cash. read more
