I purchased ReSound hearing aids a few years ago from Costco on Havana St. Pricing was good, and the hearing aids were well-made, but I have found it very hard to get any kind of follow-up service. If I call there is no human that answers. When I go to the store there is rarely anyone available to wait on customers - and I've gone three times with the same result. Today, three people were waiting in line and the attendant was in the back room, giving hearings tests or something. No one came out to tell us how long the wait would be or if they would even wait on us at all, so I left the store in frustration. All I needed was some of the replacement rubber cups and a couple of "sport clips" made of plastic, both, which help hold the hearing aids in place. The parts I need I can put on myself, but I can't get a Costco clerk to even hear my request. Today I found a company on line and ordered the replacement parts which may or may not fit (model information was sketchy), and which were needlessly expensive. I am also ready to order a new pair of hearing aids and want to keep my existing pair as a backup. I won't be buying my new pair from Costco for one reason - their service is abysmal. read more

Subject: Pharmacy product with a new brand name, ISSUE: hydrogen peroxide with no seals. Location: Aurora Colorado, Havana. The old brand name was, Swan. This new brand name is, bioliving. On the front of the bioliving brand it says: Tamper evident: Do Not use if seal under cap is broken or missing, (In red letters). The Swan product had a SEAL, bioliving does not have a Seal. This is my local Costco and it's great. It had a gas station that moves fairly quickly and beats out everywhere else price-wise. There's an Auto center that has great service overall in terms of speed and communication. There's an ibdoor food court that serves great standard quality Costco eats. Parking wise, I strongly recommend parking kore towards the gas station. The little nook by the tire center can get a bit difficult to escape from. All in all, this Costco is reliable, pleasant, and nice. read more

This location is one of our Go-To locations for everything we need in bulk. From the basics to eggs and almond milk... to frozen veggies... and produce.... you can't go wrong! The associates that sample here are nice and friendly. Always plenty to sample. And of course there are a few that can samplers that get snappy, but that's because there are customers that could be rude and not care about the people around them. I mean come on... one sample please... and after you get your sample, make some room for others too! Bathrooms are always clean. And for the most part if I'm looking for something in particular, there's a Costco associate to ask. And the cashiers and helpers are always pleasant to speak to. They are always open to some chit-chat as your stuff is being scanned and packed into your cart. If you have to do a return, it's a breeze too! Lines are quick to go through. This location is always busy on the weekends (but aren't all Costcos on weekend busy anyways?). My suggestion is go early as possible and with less kids. Made me feel like i was doing something wrong even though i wasn't at all. they thought i was trying to scheme them by simply trying to shop at their store. Not my fault your membership team made a mistake and didn't have my membership updated correctly. I was treated horribly and asked not to come back as they ripped my paper ID day pass away from me as i exited the store. Costco accepts Visa credit card now! The parking lot here gets tight and they don't sell movie tickets for the aurora movie theater but other than that this place is great. They sell tons of great furniture items and their food court is indoors so you can come get your chicken bake fix during the winter time and avoid the snow. I'm always surprised by the stuff they have here. I got Thai mango sticky rice dessert, Nitro cold brew coffee, almond seaweed snacks and paneer curry Indian food from here. I've also seen Salvadorian papusas, French macaroons and Japanese ramen sold here. Super international! The cameraman for the Costco membership card told me to make a duck face during the photo shoot. I obliged and didn't think he'd print that one for my ID but indeed he did. I love commerce. I especially love commerce in bulk quantities. That said, the Aurora Costco loses favor with me because of two annoying things, both of which they could control at some level if they chose to. First, is it really that hard to find a couple of extra checkers for the peak hours? What is the purpose of having 15 checkout lanes and four people working them. Second, tell the old push ladies that the samples aren't buffet tables. Some old angry broad cleaned out a sample tray of pizza rolls, and then stood there eating them, one after another, while I had to wait for the next batch, When they came out, she was back in for more. Always busy in this place. Parking lot is a bit to maneuver so use your driving skills and pay attention. The store itself is usually in good shape. The sample ladies and gents are not pushy and very tolerant to the kids running around grabbing things. The longs can be extremely long as with all locations. I really wish they would get it together like one of the other warehouse clubs and have a phone app where you can scan things yourself and pay online. would make things a lot easier and pleasant with this shopping experience. They do have a self check out, but try to get near it is impossible most of the time. Over all this place packs a punch. Yesterday I drove way across town when I realized I'd left my Costco card at home. I was in a bad mood already and now I didn't know what to do but tried to walk in anyway. I was stopped at the front and the man there (I wish I'd caught your name) was calm and helpful despite my ignorance and severe grumpiness. Then at the counter, a man named Mitchell printed out a day pass for me while making jokes and lifting my spirits and generally being wonderful. When you visit a Costco you are connecting with the majority of the country. People buying in bulk to save money and keep their family happy. It's not for us to say how much toilet paper one needs to purchase at one time. Who are we to judge? The best part about a trip to Costco, outside the delight of discovering what you really can get as a member, is the hot dog and soda combo after check out. Two adults can enjoy a Kirkland hot dog and soda pop for less than $5. That's America wrapped up in foil. Ok... be ready to fight the crowds at this location (like any Costco isn't busy?) but it's just not the deals that bring me here. I bought online and ordered two of the same item. Which means I had to return one. Ok, you just zombie it and stand in line. The line here was actually short and I had the pleasure of interacting with an employee named Stephen. Not only did he take care of my return, but discovered I had two accounts. One of which I was not earning cash back. He fixed it and processed the return. Full disclosure, I'm from Washington and my family has been a member since they opened. Companies lose focus of their mission, but Costco has remained steady. I just spent 8 phone calls and several hours on the phone with AT&T because of their mistake and after 22 years as a customer, they wouldn't fix the problem, so I switched. I wish there were more companies and employees like Costco and Stephen. You really don't know how valued you made me feel. Sally who was at self checkout was a Karen, there were a couple of us that needed help as our light was flashing and she proceeded to ignore us and continue to help someone scan who was clearly scanning her own items and did not want help. I had to grab a manager and Sally finally finished helping the lady then proceeded to come over in her managers face and say what is my job then walk away. This Costco has failing standards and has been deteriorating. I've been a Costco executive member since 2015 (six years). Long lines, subpar service, and managers that do nothing to help you. It's a mess. The final match to light the fuse was a Cashier named Karen that worked on July 1, 2021 at 8:00PM. "I've been calling around to get an estimate for tires and this has by far been the worst service I've encountered. I provided the make and model multiple times and then placed on hold again only to have the employee ask for the make and model again minutes later. Having spent 15 minutes on hold the employee was refusing to offer an estimate, instead telling me to call later. Other businesses have been able to provide a ballpark estimate in about 5 minutes. Is wasting a quarter of an hour only to disregard clients and telling them to call later a regular practice here? It doesn't make me want to call again." I would give zero stars if I could. I can't say enough bad things about this place. I don't think the deals are good. It's way too crowded all the time. I think the way this business is run is absurd . This store is a horrible place to shop. I bought some thermos from the store on Havana St. In Aurora Co. for my husband, the manager was very rude to me when I went to return the merchandise. She was very short and abrupt with me and wouldn't even listen to what I had to say she basically called me a liar by telling me that I didn't purchase the merchandise at her store when that is where I bought all of my husband's Christmas gifts a week before Christmas. She embarrassed me so bad when she implied that I didn't buy them there and made me feel like she was accusing me of stealing the items they refused to refund me my money even though I had a receipt by saying that they didn't have a barcode for the merchandise. Not all Costco are created equal. This location carries varieties that's not found at other locations. They also don't carry stuff that other locations carry. Parking: sucks big time. Avoid dinner rush hours or weekends. If you don't work, please come during non rush hours so some of us can park and shop! Well, maybe free samples are offered only during rush hours and weekends. Cant help it since its the "closest" to where we used to live and living now... Spoiler alert! The machines to inflate your tires outside by the tire center at Costco are turned off when Costco is closed. I had pulled up to check my pressure early one morning, and didn't know this information. The machines actually remove air from your tires if they are turned off. So with my low tire bringing a new dimension to my already busy day, I pulled up to the curb and waited for the tire center to open. Back in the 60's and 70's we had a phrase for this kind of stress. We used to say the little men in white coats were gonna come get me. My brain equated the situation likened to an astronaut returning to earth in their space capsule, flying through the earth's fiery atmosphere, when a notification popped up on my screen requiring a permit to re-enter, like at some Colorado State parks. As I was texting people about my late start, the tire manager opened the garage door, and offered to help me, even though they were closed for another 30 minutes! He filled up my flat tire and checked the other ones too. Imagine that! G-D bless America! And thank goodness for Costco! read more

One son in Denver and one in California and we were able to purchase one membership and have both of them on the card. $45 Thank you for keeping the price for a polish dog and a drink $1.50. Thank you for having a machine which allows one to purchase a bottle of water for 25 cents. Costco is Costco wherever you go and that's what we love. If you are looking for great value Costco has you covered. Nearly everything they sell is priced below that of others. The only caveat, the amount you have to buy. This is a warehouse shopping club so you're not going to pick up a gallon of milk and a box of cereal. Today I'm at the photo center and the associate Annette 1) remembers my name (and mind you I'm in here every couple months) and 2) she goes to the effort to go in the back to the orders they got in today to get a second order that I *hoped* would be ready to pickup w the one I knew was ready. I really used to like this costco... I love that they are non-discriminatory (as all companies supposedly are) when hiring employees. However, I suppose their employees are sometimes a bit more discriminatory than costco themselves. The bald elderly man at the door hassled me for having my service dog. Yes, I understand that there's a problem with people slapping a vest on their untrained dogs and trying to pass them off as service animals, but these laws are in place so that people with disabilities aren't given a hard time everywhere they go. I transcribed the exchange: Him: "Is that a service dog?" Me: "Yes," as I motion to her service dog patches Him: "We have to be careful with service dogs..." Me: "...okay..." Him: "We had one in here the other day that peed all over." Me: "Well, she's trained. She won't do that." *motioning to my service animal again* Him: Laughs, "Mine is too." Me: "...your service dog?" At this point, my father pulled me into the costco, saying they can't discriminate against us for having a service dog. I'm just tired of this happening everywhere I go. Other than this inappropriate exchange, I really do love costco as a franchise and I feel bad leaving a one star review but my hopes are that this review is seen by costco's officials and they have a talk to this employee over their ableist behavior. Who doesn't love Costco? Compared to the other ones, this one has a more irritating demographic. Be wary of disorganization, people parking their cats in the middle of the aisles or traffic way. Chuckled at two patrons fighting over FREE samples. However, the staff here is very friendly compared to the Thornton one. They carry a big bag of Hi - Chews ($6), check it out. If your bored and hungry, $1.50 polish dogs and a drink will prevent you from getting your ass kicked by the sample monsters, cause you'll be full. I guess if I ever have kids, I'm not dropping them off for dinner (the free sample) at this one, for fear that they may get ran over by the ignorant activities that could be witnessed here.
