This Costco location is always busy thanks to its rotating seasonal selections, especially during the holidays. Don't go here hungry or without a list, or else you may end up making some impulse purchases like I did (party of one, anyone? Lol.) I am not sure if there is a way to improve Customer Service. But what I will say is that some of the customer service representatives or your employees don't smile, they don't say you're welcome or even pretend to like their jobs. In fact, the friendliest people are those who are responsible for handing out the samples. I will continue shopping at the store seeing as I like Costco, but hope in the future you can find a way to improve employee conduct. read more

I needed jasmine rice and then picked up some Cheetos too. Self checkout and I was done with that. Changed my name at the membership desk as well and Zach was so helpful. I am not in love with this Costco. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day or day of the week you go, this store is somehow always so crowded and the parking lot is a mess and is a safety hazard, going in and out is like solving a puzzle. I do like however that for the size of this store which I think is smaller than some of the Costco I have been to, it is well stocked and has a good selection of items. I just hate how crowded and congested it is. Also hate the sales people that stand out at the front, so I do my best to avoid them at all cost. read more

I don't like the parking at this store as the lot is often too full and getting around seems hazardous and Helter skelter still the store is well stocked in every respect and their ribs and roast chicken is sometimes depleted or they sell the garlicky drumsticks which I don't like. Still a decent store and their optical department is exceptional. They are well staffed, courteous, attentive, and the wait is never as long as other stores. I also like their gas service station but it can be crowded depending on the time of day. Knowing that I schedule my visits during off hours. Avoid the crowds with this store and your experience will prove substantially enhanced. read more

This Costco was too overcrowded for my liking. Employees were not as helpful here as some other Costco's. Very lacking in customer service , and I gave it one extra star for the woman who helped me at the front desk who updated all my info , and the food court woman. They were awesome. The stock guys on the forklifts , and the guys on the waxing machine were just rude. They were shouting at guests to "MOVE ! You don't want to be run over !" ( 1 employee chuckles and says to his co-worker "I guess they do ?" ) This was my observation from another isle. I'll pass on returning to visit this particular Costco. Costco is great. I come to this Costco when I'm visiting Denver. It's very clean, and the lines are not long. I'm writing this review during the corona crisis. Costco is a go-to place when supplies are needed and I applaud them for trying to keep the needed supplies available. This location has good staff, and they all present themselves in a professional manner. During the corona crisis, they have people forming a single line in the store and a person at the front will direct you to the check stand they want you to use. It's a pretty good social distancing system. I'm knocking off two stars because they do not require people who enter the warehouse to wear masks. I even saw a policeman there without a mask. What the heck!! I was in the single line and the guy in front of me had no mask. This is craziness! About 20% of the people there had no mask, and one of those people was coughing! Why have some social distancing in place but allow flagrant abuses of it in other areas? People need food and supplies, but they shouldn't need to put their health, (maybe their lives) in danger when they go to get it. C'mon, Costco! make everyone wear a dang mask until all this corona stuff is over...it'll never be over if you endorse people being able to freely spew their germs over everyone and everything in the warehouse, including your awesome employees!! read more

Then they aren't delivered until mid-day on 2/14 and they're so wilted I've seen better quality flowers at the cemetery days after a funeral. The lady who checks the receipt is the rudest person I have ever seen, I simply wanted to buy food but i was not aware of the new system they had to scan your membership, but I never had one. I was just able to go in and buy food without a membership, but she was being disrespectful and sent me to the other side of the entrance. It seems like the Aurora Costco always has more Asian goodies, while the one in Lone Tree has the least. Besides the ice cream mochi, brown sugar ice cream bar, instant boba milk tea and Taiyaki (Lone Tree also has these), found moon cakes, pineapple cakes, durian cakes, dates with walnut and Taiwan style beef jerky (Lone Tree sometimes has these if you are lucky). Dont go here. They scanned my mothers membership card upon my entry (bc I was shopping for her due to her recent knee surgery) and told me that I was safe to enter and shop. After almost 2 hours and a full cart later, I get to check-out and am denied service. A balding gentleman in black waltz over to me and took my ID and membership card before allowing me to explain my situation. He then promptly returns high on his power trip to inform me that since I am not on the account, I cannot shop--with over $300 worth of grocery in the checkout lane. I try to explain the situation to him and even offer to call my mother, but he refused to listen and told me I needed my own membership. I am beyond upset that I was even let in the establishment to start with, since I'm not "authorized to shop." I have been going to Costco for many years and this has never been the case. I don't think I've ever been to a Costco that I didn't like, and this one is no different! Costco to me is an iconic American store that will always have a special place in my heart. Who doesn't love eating tasty free food samples while loading up your cart full of humungous cases of chips and toilet paper!! This Costco location doesn't disappoint, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The customers that shop at this location also seem to be really nice too, which is a bonus! One of my favorite perks to shopping at Costco is eating at their food court on the way out. Their hot dogs are like baseball bats, they're so BIG, and only $1.50! You just can't beat that. And their cheese pizza is actually one of my favorites, super soft crust with a tasty marinara base. Their gas prices are always the best in the area, so that's always a plus! I've said buh-bye to Walmart's Subsidiary Sam's Club, and embraced Costco's publicly-traded Kirkland advertised aisles. We've been shadowing our family members shopping at Costco for years now, but actually signing up our membership was 2 years ago. Having our rewards card handy, and taking advantage of their gas prices, we started depending on Costco for our everyday home goods and necessities. The only thing that is a total bummer is gas station has started "coning" up their lanes at 9pm, last time we were there. We haven't been caught up in the painfully long lines when Covid started, but we were made aware of household items always in high demand, low stock: Baby wipes, hand sanitizer, clorox wipes etc. We are so a tad bit disappointed that they have these dummy sample food stands everywhere with associates standing by, but with a glass display in front of their stands, and we can't eat it until we leave. They are still honoring the free samples, which is the least positive thing about it. Their liquor store, is also generously stocked, but always bombarded with my darn ID. Restrooms are clean, overcrowded check out lines at best. Oversized and wide carts, so it's not easy to maneuver their darn aisles. The dairy section is actually freezing, that wearing a coat feels like you're in a blizzard. I try to avoid that place as much as I can! read more

This is my favorite Costco! They have a few things that the Costco closest to me does not sell. In the summer, the have fresh thai coconuts for the best price that I've ever seen. They also sell ginger and turmeric in bulk. I love to buy both of these for cooking and juicing. I've been an Executive Member at Costco for 15 years. I've always enjoyed shopping for my family here, but today something happened that left me both furious and deeply disappointed. This afternoon, at the Costco on Havana St, Aurora, CO 80012, my daughter saw a fresh tray of Gyoza being prepared at a sample station. She wanted to try it for the first time to see if we should buy it. She was the first in line, and soon after, several others lined up behind her, waiting patiently for their turn. However, instead of serving the already-cooked dumplings, the sampler began slowly opening a new box of dumplings, taking her time with the packaging, and even walking over to the trash can in an unnecessarily slow manner. At one point, she even moved the trash can around. Meanwhile, my child and the others in line stood there quietly, exchanging confused looks as they watched this sampler drag things out, wondering why she wasn't simply serving the dumplings that were already cooked. After about five minutes, just as she finally started to serve the food, she suddenly turned to my daughter, who had been waiting quietly at the front of the line, and said, "You, go to the back of the line." The people behind my daughter immediately spoke up, saying that she had been there first, but the sampler rudely and loudly shouted, "I know!" My daughter was shocked and didn't know how to respond. She's always been a well-mannered child, beloved by her teachers and classmates at school. I decided to pull her away and told her we wouldn't be purchasing anything from someone so rude. Although I've bought this product in the past, I will never purchase it again. The sampler's unprofessional and offensive behavior towards my child was completely unacceptable. This one interaction has completely shattered my child's positive impression of Costco, and I am seriously reconsidering whether I will renew my membership next year. read more

I purchased ReSound hearing aids a few years ago from Costco on Havana St. Pricing was good, and the hearing aids were well-made, but I have found it very hard to get any kind of follow-up service. If I call there is no human that answers. When I go to the store there is rarely anyone available to wait on customers - and I've gone three times with the same result. Today, three people were waiting in line and the attendant was in the back room, giving hearings tests or something. No one came out to tell us how long the wait would be or if they would even wait on us at all, so I left the store in frustration. All I needed was some of the replacement rubber cups and a couple of "sport clips" made of plastic, both, which help hold the hearing aids in place. The parts I need I can put on myself, but I can't get a Costco clerk to even hear my request. Today I found a company on line and ordered the replacement parts which may or may not fit (model information was sketchy), and which were needlessly expensive. I am also ready to order a new pair of hearing aids and want to keep my existing pair as a backup. I won't be buying my new pair from Costco for one reason - their service is abysmal. read more

And expect to spend a minimum of 20 minutes in every line you need to go into. And there is no organization around the lines so plan to have people cut in front of you.
