I have always had a great experience at this Costco for the most part. Got my own membership at this Costco upon moving (from California) where my family have been long-time Priceclub/Costco members. I even got a Costco Amex because of how often I shop and get gas at Costco. This location is utterly, stupidly convenient for me (I live in apartment complex across the street) so if I ever need anything I can just walk and avoid the s#!t show of a parking lot... On busy days, it's a cluster and most people that shop here are absolute idiots. Other than that, it's your typical Costco! The employees are always helpful and friendly; this especially includes the Tire Center. I have only had one issue with the Tire Center which was corrected quickly-- if you ever need help, make sure you ask for Tyler, he's awesome! read more

The food section has definitely gone downhill in lieu of "healthier" and less satisfying options. First they took away the yummy berry smoothie and replaced it with a 'natural' fruit smoothie that is not very sweet yet still contains almost as many carbs, just as fruit sugars instead. They recently got rid of their chili and they removed the really tasty brisket sandwich. The last straw was when they replaced their chocolate frozen yogurt with gross acai berry. Now my kids won't touch the frozen yogurt swirl. I don't mind if they add some healthy options, but don't take away the good stuff. In their defense, though, the hot dogs are still the cheapest lunch in town. read more

I Ordered pizza today from the cafeteria and the cashier that was helping me was not very kind. I'm usually very satisfied with Costco's service but today I felt a bit discriminated. The cashier helping me didn't greet me when I was about to order but instead just stared at me with a weird look. I thought she was just busy and had a bad day so I ignored the unkindness. However, as I returned back in line to get something, I noticed how she was treating other customers. The family in front me was a Caucasian family and when she was helping them, she greeted them with kindness and helped them by taking her time. When I was helped the second time by her, she was trying to rush me and as I asked for more plates, she rolled her eyes and before I was able to finish my order, she called the next person in line. I'm not sure if this is how it always is, but I hope no one else receives this kind of customer service. This is why I'm sharing my experience here. read more

The longest slowest checkout lines I've ever experienced anywhere. The produce is picked so green most of the time it rots before it ripens. Stay away from the avocados shipped in from Peru. Even the bananas spot before they turn yellow. The bread products are dry. I really don't get it. The only things worth going there for are paper products and rotisserie chicken. As always, avoid crowds by proceeding here during the week. I usually park further from the door so I have no complaints about parking, but it can be hectic. Pretty typical Costco, if you see something you like get it or within weeks it'll probably be gone. I like Kirkland products and their return policy is top-notch. Returns line can be long, or really short, depends on time of day. So far, no complaints. Good selection of books here. Checkout lines run fast. read more

Cut me off several times when I was trying to explain my issues then became argumentative and yelled at me in front of other members who were in the tire center lobby with me. Had a warranty issue they refused to honor and contradicted the information given to me by my Toyota mechanic. Time to get tires somewhere else! read more

This location is just a bit crowded. Especially on Sunday afternoons (total hell). And it is quite hard to make the turn out of there in the car. I mean I am glad there is an Aurora location but I think it could do better location-wise. It's by a traffic-heavy Havana St and kinda out of the way if you ask me. read more

I visited this Costco on 11/12/2020 and was checking out around 6:14pm on register 5 i think and Leah, who was the boxer and helping the cashier told us as we were walking up and there was still a customer checking out that we need to take our own items out of the cart with a ton of attitude and as we apologized she said with more attitude "I'll just do it this time just go to the front". I wouldn't mind unloading my own basket but i thought as a cashier assistant that was her job and due to COVID regulations and the safety of both the employees and customer in order to unload my own cart i would have had to of gone behind the plexiglass where the cashier was and i think that defeats the purpose of the plexiglass. Then she told us to move forward where there were still customers which doesn't follow the social distancing guideline. She was aggressively tossing our items on the conveyer belt and when i asked her name she covered her badge and ignored me so the cashier told me her name. Considering the fact that she works as a boxer and her job is completely based on customer service and to aid the cashier with unloading of the cart and boxing up items after they are rung up i would think that she would have a little more respect toward customers and would be at least capable of doing her minimum job requirements without complaints and attitude especially since the store was not busy. read more

my family has been a Costco member for years. i recently picked up my own membership and was excited to buy stuff in massive quantities for the first time on my own! entered the door wearing a hooded Carhart sweatshirt, hood up, and a hat. there was a mother and two small children, an older man, and a middle aged woman in front of me, all entered without being asked by the lady working at the door to see their membership card. as i enter, she throws out her arm and asks for my Costco card. i simply ask her why she did not ask any of the 3 people in front of me? she responds with, "i do not have to answer any of your questions, now i demand to see your Costco membership card or i will call to have you escorted off the premises" that sure escalated quickly. so i show her my card and leave. funny, i walk through the door at the Costco on Wadsworth and was greeted with a smile and was told to have a great day. they did not ask for my card. read more

I have been a Costco member for several years and recently moved to CO. The selection product at this location is limited compared to other locations. I have had very good and mediocre experiences with the staff. Floor staff-meh. Checkout has been exceptional in my opinion. Is the yogurt machine ever working? It's either my luck but the last 3 times I have been there the machine is out of order. Hope to see some improvements read more

I have always been a huge fan of Costco. Great prices, free samples, and the best return policy. Get great auto and home insurance with Ameriprise, an insurance company Costco represents. They also have a great Vision Center. Randolph Fincher, OD is awesome. Has the best bedside manners, very knowledgable, and I always enjoy our visits. I had a great experience with this Costco recently. I moved to Denver, and I was planning to buy a queen-sized mattress at Costco. We had my dad's truck in town for a brief period of time. We went to this Costco, and they were out of Queen mattresses. They told us to come back the next morning early when the shipment of new mattresses arrived. Apparently, the shipment date was incorrect, because when we arrived the next morning, there were no new mattresses. Ed the manager came and talked to us, however, and he promised that they would deliver the mattress to us directly free of charge since we would not have the truck any longer. He delivered the mattress himself several days later and helped to carry it inside. He was a great help, and we really appreciate the service. read more

I love Costco....the free samples are the bomb. It's open just about every day of the year. The employees are very helpful and nice. There is only one rub....so here goes. I pay to shop there and I get hooked on a certain food and love it and then they no longer carry it in the store. You ask the staff how to go about getting the product that you love and they tell you that Costco doesn't care....they know you will buy other supplies from the store. DO NOT buy a phone or change your service from the in-store verison booth. They have a verison sign but they have nothing to do with Verison. They simply sell verison products. If there is a problem with your order, verison can do nothing for you. I bought a new global phone with the promise it would arrive before I left for a 6-week overseas stay. Services was fast during lunch time period, however the service speed during night time before they close for the day is another store. Waited in line for close to 20 minutes because there's only 1 employee working the register. One guy was doing the hot dogs detail and one lady doing the pizza orders in the back. First let's start with the customer service, when you need 3 different transactions on YOUR OWN cards and the cashier immediately calls the manager. The manger states the same thing, I go to their supervisor and she tells me that I can have as many transactions as I need. They try to cover up for the incompetence of the cashier by saying because I had my family things, excuse me ?! I was paying with my cards!!! And the other idiot supervisor says that's the way they keep they're prices down. How is reducing the amount of transactions I have keeping down the prices? I PAY a membership to go to your stores. Definitely the worst experience I hace had. Trying to give me a runaround about what I was asking, and NO ONE was able to provide me with a written statement about how many transactions are allowed. Don't try to take people as FOOLS! I think that's what makes me mad. The attitude of the managers are of these high and mighty, seriously if I tell you that maybe you should let your cashiers know, and you mocking me and answering "maybe I will" , now I see why everyone in there has such negative attitude towards customers. They changed the strawberry smoothies to a healthy smoothie and it ruined it. They should have both sugar free drinks and sugar drinks in order for full customer satisfaction. I know it's Costco but I have to say something about the delicious food at the food court. Here's a couple things that you should know about Costco before you go and you really should go. The food court is pretty much cash only, no cards accepted (except for the Costco gift card) but at least they have an ATM in the corner (take note P.S. Lounge...). Second, you should know that you do not need a Costco card to go to the food court. You can walk right in through the out door (out door..she wore a RAAASSSSPPPBERRRYY beret) and stand in line. I've pretty much eaten everything on the Costco food court menu. Not only is it already prepared so all you have to do is wait in line and order it but the food is quality and dirt cheap. The pizza is HUGE and is $2 a pop. You can have cheese, pepperoni or combo so no need to agonize over what to order. A huge pie (only one size) is $10. Did I just say that huge, delicious pizza is only $10. Why, yes I did. Also, if awesome pizza isn't your thing they have a delicious (albeit limited) menu that will blow your skirt up. The chicken bake is...eh...just ok but I still order it every 5th or 6th trip. Basically it's good white chicken meat with hot mozzarella cheese, bacon and caesar dressing inside of a doughy crust baked with cheese on top which makes it sound like it would taste like hot garbage but it's slightly better than decent. The chicken caesar salad is served with the dressing on the side and tons of good white chicken for $4 which is cheaper than any fast food salad or salad bar I can think of. Lastly, you can get a drink and a 1/4 hot dog or polish sausage for $1.50 (plus tax). I know that this review is similar to that of a movie theater snack bar but Costco never disappoints me. Had a super weird interaction with Vanessa in customer service. I went to go over a new a membership to my father and I shared, Are usually don't renew it but my father hasn't had the chance to this time around so I figured I would take care of that for him. When she told me $60 I was surprised because the last time I paid attention it was 40 so I asked when it changed, she turned to one of her colleagues laughed and said when was the last time a membership is $40. Kind of made a Weird situation out of nothing there and it really threw me off and make me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was trying to be cute, funny or that was just her personality but it wasn't On par with my usual interactions at Costco. She pretty much told me she couldn't help me after everything because they didn't except MasterCard when it came to credit. I figured Costco would be eager to take my money somehow so I asked for a manager and we got it sorted out pretty quickly and easily. Overall my experience was great but Vanessa in customer service made things pretty weird for me from the jump and didn't display the do what it takes to maintain the customer attitude I was used to at costco. read more

COSTCO IS AWESOME so ignore these other less than 5 star reviews. You are not shopping at Nordstroms. If you want that kind of hand holding service you can go to Whole paycheck and you will pay 3x the prices, but hey, the checkout person smiles at you so it must be worth it? It is a warehouse experience with inexpensive prices, which is why you pay for a membership-not for the excellent customer service. But I'll bet you don't cancel your membership because we all know they have the lowest prices in Denver. I don't care if the checkout person smiles at me or not because let's face the reality-customer service jobs suck. A little advice-try giving a big smile and hello to the checker or other workers and you will probably receive the same in return. I have never be treated rudely at any Costco, which is my main litmus test. Food prices have been increasing dramatically over the last 6 months and wages have been stagnate so a place like Costco is a welcome relief although when buying in bulk it is hard to spend less than $200 at checkout. Sometimes causes a review of the receipt as you swear you have been overcharged, but upon further review most bulk items range $7-$10+ so the total adds up quickly . My go to location is Havana. If you watch the items you want, but think it is overpriced, just visit weekly and watch the price drop until they clear the inventory (mostly electronics, clothing, furniture & rugs) and you can get a sweet deal. Best deal always available is a beef hot dog and soda for $1.76 or/and slice of pizza for $2.16. Other great deals is their Kirkland Signature Brands esp the 40lb bag of dog food-first ingredient is lamb or chicken, no corn fillers, for $29 and $27 respectively. Comparable ingredients in well know brands at a local Pet store will cost $45-$56. They accept debit cards and the only credit card they accept is AMEX. read more
