Many of the boxes include produce from other organic growers. The produce is always fresh and will last a couple of weeks in the refrigerator, unlike produce you buy in the store that was actually picked weeks ago and kept in cold storage. The price has recently increased, the first time since 2008, as farming costs have increased and the Willeys pay their workers a living wage. My complaint has nothing to do with the Willeys but rather the drop off locations on the northwest side of down. In the 7 years I have had just about that many pick up spots. Just this week I was notified that Pavilion Shopping Center will no longer allow drop off at their center. Bah humbug, Pavilion.

We get fresh, organic fruits and veggies delivered to our neighborhood once a week. The CSA has turned Tuesdays into Christmas. As Forest Gump once said, "you never know what you're gonna get." I love the carrots, ming choi, and the strawberries. They're also very helpful! I love this family!

You get so much stuff for that price, it's totally worth it. All of the vegetables are fresh and the fruit is always sweet. The sizing of the vegetables and fruit is huge compared to what you pay for at the stores. You can either build your own box and customize what you want or grab one of their Farmer's choice boxes like I usually do and let them put a variety of stuff in there for you. I like that option because it gives me a chance to try new things that I wouldn't normally go for at the store. I love getting the different vegetables and then finding recipes that go with them.

We had so much fun, it was nice, clean, and had very friendly staff. Met the owner and her son and they were welcoming, and talked about up coming events along with her wine that we got to try. The wine was really good and each one we tried paired really well with the pieces of chocolate we got. I would recommend attending this event again, and if there's events coming up just GO TRY THEM. We sat outside and ordered some food to enjoy the sun and just enjoy being outside. I will definitely be coming back here.

We had friends playing the live music so sat on the patio and ordered a bottle of their sparkling rose. It was a little on the sour side (not dry but actually a little sour), but not bad. The weather was beautiful, and we had a pleasant time on the patio. Sean was our host, and he was very attentive along with his wife who checked on us several times. Definitely a must try in the Fresno area if you have never been.

Remembering how much we enjoyed that first experience, we decided to drive a bit out of our way to stop by again. The staff was as friendly and knowledgeable as we remembered, making the tasting experience both enjoyable and informative. The port wines were excellent, and the fact that there's no tasting fee was a nice bonus. Also, they are dog-friendly! We enjoyed the visit so much that we joined the club, which includes three bottles twice a year (April and October). We purchased the April 2025 club shipment, featuring the Special Reserve Tawny, Adagio Port Blanc, and Roriz Vermelho Ruby. We are looking forward to the October Club release. Ficklin Vineyards is definitely worth the stop if you're anywhere near Madera! (I would recommend calling to verify their hours.)
