Not bad . They had a ton of different styles. The tacos were very tasty. Was very comfortable and not busy when I went.

Those homemade tortillas are out of this world. Both the beef tacos and the carne asada were delicious, and we had tasted both. And you can tell you're in a local Latino eatery by the decor and music. Having everyone in the place stare at us for no apparent reason was quite strange, so I deducted a star. It's not very welcoming when the staff keeps staring at us, then turns to each other and laughs. I mean, I get that we aren't from any Latin American countries, but still! And, not only that, but the little number of guests there were, made the situation much more unpleasant when they kept ogling at my wife. Additionally, we wished to place an additional order for meal, dessert, and beverages; however, the waitress continuously ignored us in favor of the next seated party. We waited 20 minutes after finishing our meal, then literally walked to the counter, called the server so we can pay and get out. Even though the food is delicious, I won't be returning. For me, a night out on the town must include not only delicious food but also a soothing experience.

Had dinner here this evening - another Mexican/Latin American joint in Manassas. It's located in a retail complex right off of Business Route 234 - the same complex as the McKay's Used Books. Walked in about 7:00 pm or so - I noted immediately that I was the sole Caucasian in the place - the rest of the place were Latin Americans of various vintages - I always take this as a good sign that the locals like the place. I was seated immediately and presented with a menu. I was hungering for a beef Burrito - so I ordered that with a side of Guacamole, a glass of water with lime, and then a bit later - a Corona Beer. The menu contains Salvadorian and Mexican items. My first two servers spoke poor or little English - so they brought a third over who spoke clear English. I was kind of expecting the possibility of this occurring - so I was unphased. While I was waiting I noted there were several flat screen HD displays, plus a large projector screen - all displaying a soccer game being. And there was a Jukebox - playing Latina music a bit to loud. First a small basket of chips were brought out with a side of salsa - not bad salsa - but not spicy enough for me. I added some of the Habanero sauce on the table to the salsa - the brand is "El Yucateco Chile Habanero." Made the salsa nice and spicy! The food came out in about 10 minutes. The Burrito comes with a side of rice, a small iceberg lettuce salad, and something similar to refried beans - although the consistency was thinner than what I am accustomed. The Burrito had jack cheese melted over the top of it. The rice was kind of plain on its own - so I dumped the refried beans mixture into the rice and then dosed it with the Habanero sauce. Now it's good! The steak in the Burrito was very tender and tasty. I devoured it in no time flat. The Beer was well - Corona - nice and cold and served with a lIme. One thing I noted while I was there that I thought was bit odd - was that all the servers were women - and all of the folks patronizing the place were guys - there was not a single woman patron in the place. The short snapshot of my time there is probably not representative of the place overall - but I still found it odd. Seemed like a lot of the guys were flirting with the waitresses. Cons: - Jukebox and soccer game were way to loud I would come back here again - to try some of the other menu items.

Really slow service and the servers(women)only give attention to the guys who are drinking alcohol.

Overall, good food. Pupusas lacked a bit of flavor but the burritos were good. Took forever to get food so be prepared to wait.

I do love that they had a variety of omelettes (I went with the Greek). My cousin ordered a platter of some sort. He asked for 2 eggs but it sure did look like a 1 egg serving. I also got the waffle + caramel banana. We thought the food was okay. Not bad, not special. I appreciate the home comfy essence that the small restaurant gives off.

But I was surprised, usually when you think of sausage gravy you think of a huge heaping over the eggs but this was even better. The gravy seems folded in with the cheese and the whole thing was such a savory delight. Potatoes cooked perfectly and they didn't skimp on the butter on my bread. This is a small space so you may have to wait. They take your phone number and call you when your table is ready. There isn't a hostess stand so I had to go towards the back to ask a waiter how to get on the list. Very close to old town so stay afterwards and take a stroll to the farmers market or perhaps the train station.

But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area.

We came here for Mother's Day, they don't take reservations so we made sure to arrive right when they opened. Service was impecable, shout out to our server Ilke, she was so nice and attentive. She recommended getting my serpme, which was perfect to share for 2 adults and two kids. It comes with a variety of spreads, sweet and savory. All freshly made. The fig jam, butter and honey, feta spread and tomato one were amazing!! You get a side dish, we got the eggs with tomatoes and pepper and they were delicious! The zucchini fritter was also delicious. The spreads come with unlimited bread made in house. They have a huge selection of delicious looking desserts. We got complimentary baklavas that were amazing, so we didn't get to try any other dessert but we can't wait to come back!!

After checking in, we were quickly guided upstairs to a cozy, rounded booth--an intimate and perfect spot for two. Our server, Katie, was fantastic--attentive, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest when helping us choose between dishes. We started with the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, paired with the Black Sheep Mule and a watermelon cocktail (wish I remembered the name!). For our mains, we ordered the short rib rigatoni and the steak bulgogi bowl. To finish, we shared the weekly dessert special: an Earl Grey tres leches. Everything was exactly what I hoped for and more. The starters were standout, the entrees were packed with flavor, and the overall aesthetic of the space was just beautiful. We'll definitely be back--next time for brunch!

It was also my first time at The Black Sheep but I had always heard wonderful things - all of which turned out to be true. The loft area is beautiful and overlooks the entire restaurant. Also when you reserve the loft, which holds up to 16 people, you order off the regular menu. I loved this as other places I checked into were much more restrictive with a higher minimum spend and fixed menus for groups larger than 8. We had 12 in our group. We started with a bunch of appetizers for the table and cocktails. Appetizers included the bacon tower, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, crispy chicken wings, and Mediterranean garlic shrimp. Dinner entreés were jambalaya pasta, the American wagyu burger, pulled short rib rigatoni and branzino almondine. There were zero complaints. We enjoyed EVERYTHING!!
