Fantastic event at YCI!…read more I had a great experience at YCI! My sister recently held her wedding here, and it was obvious from the moment we were greeted by Dee that we were in expert hands. The space is large and convenient, but the real highlight was the hospitality. Parking: It can be a little tough since there isn't a dedicated lot right at the door, but there is one within a short walking distance. I highly recommend YCI to anyone looking to host an event in NJ. I'll definitely be back!

The business owner sent me a contract and to confirm the date, I paid a deposit. They had the children play so many games right after each other including ones with a parachute and a toilet paper blower (yay!) that my kids slept like logs that evening. They also sculpted balloon animals for each child and provided T-shirts for the celebrants. A lot of the guests said it was the best party ever. I worked with JaLeena and she is very easy to work with, honest, flexible, responsive, friendly, and creative. She worked, with me, to create an ideal party space, for my husband's birthday. Deeja was my day of coordinator and was extremely helpful. She helped me with everything I needed and was so kind. She even rearranged food into different pans just so all the food would fit well. I was able to really enjoy the day, with her there. You can't go wrong hiring this company. I know I will look to hire them for all my future parties.

He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! Really, what a great experience. My husband had a really great time. Thank you Mark and company!

Throughout my experience, I was repeatedly given assurances that things would be taken care of, only to be met with excuses, delays, and more empty promises. Trust and honesty are the foundation of any successful business, and unfortunately, both were lacking in my experience. The owner seems more interested in telling customers what they want to hear than actually delivering on those commitments. What makes this especially frustrating is the lack of accountability. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how an owner handles those mistakes says everything about their integrity and professionalism.

However, as the groom, I absolutely did not have to endure a 'bridezilla.' Jacqueline and Darryl were the primary factors for this. Jacqueline was at every dress fitting, and the bridal shower. She helped form the strategic plan, but was on point with the smallest of details. The contacts they had for every imaginable service made planning a breeze. Although they are very busy (for obvious reasons), they promptly replied to every email, text message and phone call. They went above and beyond to serve as referee, counselor, mediator, and fixer. I cannot accurately describe how reassuring it is having a go-to (or two) to put out any fires or better yet, prevent them before they started. For brides-to-be, you will not find a better planner with more solid contacts in the industry. For grooms, cut the check!
