I have to say I was pretty impressed by this Costa Coffee when I went, though my one problem would be that the sandwiches were pretty anaemic little things for too much money.
The space in here is quite long and narrow, so in a strange way it already feels quite cosy because of this, and it isn't annoying, it really is just cosy!
I ordered a large Americano, which I think was about £2.30, so towards the higher end of large coffee's in terms of price, but OH MY LORD it was the biggest, fattest most unforgiving cup of Coffee I have ever seen in my life. I should have expected this, seeing as the assistant asked me whether I would like two mini jugs of milk, because as she said rather hesitantly, the large coffee's were "rather big". It was served in what really could be best described as a soup bowl, with two handles, and once I'd finished my eye started twitching, my jaw grinding and I was in my own focused and stimulated, blueish world with my laptop for the next hour or so (enjoying the free wifi too).
The staff were all really friendly and on their game so that was nice, especially the younger staff. read more
