I found myself going into the bay tree cafe as it is open from 8am. Typical local cafe. 6 tables which seat 4 people. I would say it is a very well used cafe by the locals due to it's cheap and cheerful menu and friendly staff. Clean and very accommodating. Menu ranges from full English breakfast to crusty bread sandwiches and main meals like cottage pie and ham egg and chips!!! Nothing fancy but just good old fashioned cafe food. Very well priced. Value: 8 Staff: 10 Clean: 9 Menu: 8 ( remember it is a fry up cafe) I would return again if I wanted a snack/ breakfast....

The café offers a home cooked range of hot and cold delicious lunches and is popular with locals many making this their regular lunchtime venue. Coffee, tasty tea time cakes and tea are also popular. Everything is very reasonably and competitively priced There are about a dozen tables in the main area with comfortable easy chairs in the bay window and with additional tables in the rear.
