When I had told of the mould to the blondish middle aged woman behind the counter, she abruptly said "yes I know the other one said about it" then sarcastically said "sorry" & walked off with the plates, no refund or replacement, not that I would of accepted a replacement but the offer wouldn't of gone a miss. Poor customer service skills completely. The food in all honesty wasn't all that bad but the toast & customer service was ridiculous, they hardly kept the fact of buying reduced bread a secret whilst having it sat on the serving window with a big bright yellow reduced sticker on it. The staff seemed friendly enough, but due to an error with the tills, they had to enter my Starbucks card number manually and apologised for this. The cleanliness could have been better, many tables were either dirty or covered in empty plates/cups, even the floor was full of crumbs or just really slippy (not through being cleaned either - I'd hate to think what it was!) and I found it difficult to find a table which was ideal and clean for my guests and me to use. I appreciated how they stocked the Cold Brew, strangely many stores seem to forego offering this, despite it being used in recent Starbucks marketing, the quality of my Venti Vanilla Cold Brew was good, as were the drinks of my guests who also complimented them meeting the regular Starbucks quality. 3* - Fair store, the location and drink quality remain good but the cleanliness of the seating area is a massive area for improvement.

Egg, sausage, mushroom, bacon, tomato, fried bread.....in any combination. One of the guys I took there tried the Hungry Man's Breakfast at £5. He is a serious trencherman, but left three slices of toast, two of the sausages and most of the tomatoes. He then missed out his midday and evening meals! As you can see, the prices are unbelievable. Toasted bacon butty with a mug of tea works out at around £2. The shop itself is very clean and well-kept and you can see the entire cooking area, which is also of a high standard. Definitely the best breakfasts in St Helens.
