This place was chosen to meet a friend. Costa seem to be targeting out of town shopping centre places with stand alone purpose built cafes. No doubt they are all built from the one design.
Parking here is free and there are a few shops in the same place - M&S, Iceland being the only two I can recall.
It's a pleasant enough cafe with lots of light and glass but there is a price for comfort @ light here. I had had several coffees that day and I felt a little bit coffee weary so I opted for a single espresso at a whopping £1.75. Quite expensive for seven grams of coffee.
The espresso was pretty thick as it should be with a good concentration of dissolved and suspended solids with a crema on top.
I tend to avoid the food offerings in these places as there are no sell by dates displayed so you can't tell how long these offerings have been lingering. Had I wanted something I would have popped into M&S for an Eccles cake.
