Long story short I had been on the phone with cost u less for 2 hrs trying to figure out what was going on with my policy and the people on the customer service line are rude and pretend to drop the call and or will keep transferring you to other people who actually don't exist then it just pushes you to the beginning of the button pushing program to start all over again . If I was reviewing the customer call center I would give it negative stars . After the run around I decided to drive to Chico ( a 40min drive for me) when I got there I had to wait a little bit I think that is normal . I am rating 5 stars for one reason and one reason only @@pedro@@ he was very helpful in listening to the trouble I was having and helped me with getting things resolved and at a great price . Francisco at the Chico location was polite when he sold me a policy, but at the end of the policy when the company sent me a letter that I owed them money for cancelling the policy before it's end - when I was confused how this could happen - he said, "Francisco out" over the phone and hung up on me. read more

I really hope someone takes the time to acknowledge the fact that Michael G. at the Reading location is harassing his female customers and being really disrespectful and saying inappropriate and sexual things that I'm to the point where they feel uncomfortable and have complained to other employees. He's a manager and needs to be fired or demoted that is unprofessional and disgusting. He makes the company look bad and has been doing it for a while now. Someone needs to take the time to have a sit down with him, or some kind of repercussion. Other than that the Chico location has been very helpful and seems to know how to answer questions and help get insured within minutes. Francisco Torres the agent was fast efficient, knowledgeable, completed paperwork in a timely fashion, got me out of the office in an hour. They would only give me liability at first and told me I had to call back on a certain date to get full coverage. They charged me 328.00 deposit that I'll never get back and I was only with them 3 weeks. They gave me the run around for weeks to try and get full coverage to no avail!!! SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! So I recently called this place and a guy named Carlos directed me to some other person to talk to. This "agent" named Heidi was rude & aggressive when you would talk to her. They said they do insurance with Western General Insurance and gave me these deals that were too good to be true. I then proceeded with this process and she told me to pay through on my email through another website called "Freeway Insurance" & I stopped to assure to ask "I thought the insurance was called Western General?" and she gave me a false spiel about how they are "paired up" with them. What a freakin joke! So they private messaged me about a week ago asking me to either email or call regarding the situation so they could rectify it. NOPE!! I sent them an email stating ALL my grievances with them including the fact that I still have not even received my refund! Did anyone contact me back? No! I went to get a simple SR-22, i was told I could get an extension for my first payment of 250$ which little did i know that the 250$ has nothing to even do with my SR-22, so i called to get an extension on my payment, and they told me i needed to make that claim 48 hours after I had came in. When I was with Pedro (guy who almost tried to give me insurance for my vehicle and took advantage of the fact that I had no idea what I was really doing besides getting a SR-22) he mis-informed me and told me to come in or call anytime to get my extension. So When i called and asked for the extension the woman whose name i Dont know, told me i had 48 hours to do that and it was too late and her hands were tied and basically saying she had no time to work with me. which was very rude. So i asked to cancel my payment and she then told me that no matter what they were taking my money! NEVER WILL I EVER DO ANYTHING THROUGH COST-U-LESS AGAIN. Will never refer a friend to this place. Its a straight up robbery. In reality you don't save any money. Pay a few dollars more and avoid broker fees, monthly payment fees, and ridiculous fees to make changes on your policy which you can't even do unless your in an office. I went in a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't my first go around with these guys, my friend "joe" got a policy with an sr-22 because he got a dui, they said that the reason he had to pay over $400 to start his policy was because of a dui on his record, that was a lie, the insurance company only wanted $50 to start the policy, the rest was just fees, well he decided to sign up anyways, he went to add a car to his policy, and they wanted to charge him some fee for making a change to his policy which was $40. The agent went to talk to the manager and said that it was in the paperwork that he signed however nothing was ever explained. He goes in to make a monthly payment then they say its a $10 fee to pay in the office. He ended up canceling his policy because of all these fees they have. He would rather not drive than to have insurance with a crooked company like this. I'M WARNING EVERYONE, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THERE CUSTOMERS! read more
