I feel comfortable here, knowing I get what I ask for at a reasonable cost and in a timely fashion. She just ignored what I requested each time and cut it the way she wanted. I really feel that she is just burned out. The last time, I felt that she really rushed me through. I heard her on the phone talking about "getting out of here as soon as I can." It was the worst haircut I've ever had. My hair looked like someone put a bowl on my head and cut around it. I went to another salon to have it re-shaped into a nicer cut. I'm new to Rhinelander, so there are plenty of other places I can try out.

I told…read moreher that I wanted my hair cut just like it had been cut the last time I had it cut - about 7 weeks since we just relocated here. I made a big deal about wanting my bangs to just skim the top of my eyebrows since I don't like them any shorter than that. She told me that customers always think they look so good with bangs just brushing the tops of their eyebrows. She said that actually bangs are considered fashionable if they are really, really short or really, really long, but not just brushing the tops of their eyebrows. I told her nicely that I guess I wasn't fashionable, because I wanted my bangs to just skim the tops of my eyebrows - AFTER they are texturized. My hair is pin straight. I made sure she cut my bangs when they were totally dry. She tried to cut them shorter. I stopped her and made her cut them where I wanted them. Then she turned me to the side where I couldn't see the mirror. She said she wanted to add a little more texturizing. When she was done, the longest part of my bangs were a little over a full inch ABOVE the top of my brows! My husband measured the distance. I was very angry and won't go back. When are beauticians going to learn that the customer wants what the customer wants - not what the beautician wants?!!! We don't care what the beautician thinks is fashionable. Give us what WE want! No wonder so many women say they go home from their beauty shop appointment and re-cut their hair the way they want it. No wonder so many women go beauty shop hopping looking for a beautician who will listen to them! A woman's hair is her crowning glory. If she feels it looks ugly, the woman feels embarrassed and hideous for a month until it grows out. You just lost another customer, Debbie. I have a feeling you've lost plenty of others!

My complaint is that they are a very fast-paced salon. It takes them 20 minutes max to cut and style your hair. I have been there twice and seen the same stylist. I showed her a picture in one of their hair style books about how I wanted my hairstyle. It did not come out anything like what I showed her. The stylist cut way more off than I requested. The first time, I thought that I did not explain myself well enough. The second time, I explained clearly that I wanted my hair to look like the photo when I left. It was nothing like it. I won't be going back. I was used to salons that spent the better part of an hour with me. This is a good family salon...fast paced and reasonable, but not good if you want a designer style. I have no patience with hair stylists who refuse to listen to their customers.

I called in advance because it's a 40 minute drive from our air b&b. They said yes they do gel x…read morefills. Got an acrylic fill on gel x nails. She cut them too short then charged me 5$ extra because they "use more product on long nails". Including 10$ for cat eye. The acrylic is on my cuticle and filed uneven and my nails are not extra long as you can see. I will NEVER again.

Worst pedicure ever. 20 minutes start to finish. That was a deuxe. Time to find a new place.read more
