When I showed Emily the reference pictures of my hair that I wanted (couple inches off and was considering bangs) her reaction was a flat, discouraging "oh wow". I normally have a great time coming here for walk in's and the stylists are usually extremely eager to help and ask collaborative questions. She overall gave the impression that she did not want to do my hair and made me feel uncomfortable for wanting to try something new. I took my mother here for a very, very basic haircut. Mom is way past the age when she cared about styles or anything modern. She wanted a nice, neat cut, so that her thinning hair did not drive her crazy. And her hair really is thin. Like a lot of these inexpensive haircut places, you put your name on a list when you go in, and your name gets called when the stylist is ready. The young lady who took care of Mom asked a number of questions about style, how Mom combed her hair, and so on. I stood by in case Mom needed help (nothing wrong with her mentally, it is just that she hates to admit she doesn't hear so well at times). It only took about 10 minutes to give Mom a cut and blow dry. Mom got exactly what she she wanted. Fast Eddie's offers Senior Cuts for $11.00, one dollar less than the average price. When the stylist told Mom it was $11.00, Mom handed her a $20.00 dollar bill and said, keep the change. The stylist looked at me. I put out my hand, and the stylist counted out 9 singles. I gave $2.00 back to the stylist for her tip. Again, I think Mom didn't hear the price, and, rather than say, "What?", just guessed at what the stylist said. I am very grateful that the stylist did not take advantage of an old lady's hearing loss. Quick service, a good cut, and reasonable prices. Sounds good to me. If I didn't live 60 miles away, I'd probably give Fast Eddie's a try myself.

I have never been treated so poorly in my life…read more The "stylist" I dealt with is Sandra and I promise she is the reason I won't go back and I'll make sure no one I know does either. I am thirty years old and I do not appreciate being spoken to like a child, nor do I enjoy being spoken down to about my own preferences. When confronted about her attitude she instantly started talking about how long she has been doing hair as if that has ANYTHING to do with, or makes up for how abrasive and unprofessional she is. When I asked about a manager she just repeated herself and got louder. When I continued to ask about a manager she didn't even let me finish the question, she just spoke over me and got even louder. All in all I ended up finding out they don't even have a store manager to complain to, which just blows my mind. Don't waste your time or money.
