See, I have super stubborn, super course, carpet hair!! I mean, it's wicked hard to cut. I went in with a disaster cut, and Ashley took time to listen to my issues (of which there were many) and talk through what she was going to do to set me on the path to an *eventual* nice hair style! The cut she gave me was 1,000,000,000,000% better than any I've had in the Burgh. It looks and feels light years better. I only say I THINK she's it for me, because remnants of the "bad" cuts I've suffered are necessarily lingering as my hair grows out o& recovers. But Ashley clearly had hair cutting talents in abundance. She's also just a really pleasant, kind person! The salon is cute, clean, & inviting - very "industrial cool." They don't have the front desk/reception area manned, so it can be difficult to get a human to talk to (book online). I went in in person, because I was *that* desperate! Christina was so nice then. She stopped what she was doing, heard my brief description of my plight as patiently, then said Ashley would be great (I'd seen her good reviews online), especially since she (Christina - who is purportedly good w/ course horse hair, too!) is booked out for weeks. They carry some great hair products, as well, and they appear to be quite environmentally conscious- which I love. There's enough street parking if you're there during the day - esp during the week.
