I recently relocated to the Meridian area and needed to find a new salon. After scouring through…read moreYelp reviews, I came across A Beautiful Reaction. I was pleasantly surprised to find a salon here that uses non toxic products. What really convinced me to try A Beautiful Reaction was when I saw that the colorists and stylists received on-going education. I believe it's always important to improve one's skills. I also liked the mission statement on the website which says "We want to set ourselves apart by what we call the "BRe Experience." That means from educating our clients about the chemistry in our consultations, customized appointments built around your desires and budget, to the scalp massage at the bowl, and personalized follow up from our guest relations department guaranteeing our work." So I had high hopes going into my appt. Rather than going into detail for the sake of keeping this review on point, let's just say that I walked out of the salon with an experience that left a lot to be desired. I wrote to the owner Kelsey and expressed my dissatisfaction with the services provided and not only did she offer to make things right, but she offered to fix my hair herself. It really says a lot about a business when the owner is not only open to criticism but accepts responsibility. What a night and day experience I had this time. I was given five star service treatment from the offer of complimentary beverages to the warm towel and scalp massage at the sink. I am extremely pleased with the results. I definitely believe in second chances and I am looking forward to my next appointment.

She is remarkably talented and extraordinarily creative. Most importantly, she genuinely cares about her customers and treats them like royalty in her salon. If a client is unhappy she will go out of her way to fix whatever is wrong. Jordan also does fantastic hair as well as gel manicures. Just about anything you see on Pinterest Jordan can do on your nails! And if you're really looking to feel like a princess, ask to have one of Jamie's facials or any of her esthetician services. I got married this year and did my entire beauty preparation at the Best Little Hair House, because these girls are amazing at what they do and treat everyone who comes in like they are friends and family.

Nothing too crazy...nothing a licensed professional should have not been able to do. Don't worry, I will provide the photo I wanted and what I got. After Tessa colored my hair, toned it and brought me back to the chair, her boyfriends (at the time) mother came in. Apparently she was a higher priority than I was because she no longer wanted to work on my hair. She told me she had to go do her boyfriends mother's hair instead. I was very confused by what was even going on. My hair was soaking wet, I had no idea what it even looked like. So I paid and left. Well when I got home and blow dried my hair is when I found out how awful of a job she did on my hair. She gave me a single color and her "lavender toner" she was raving about had done nothing to tone my hair. My hair naturally is a level 8, it's not so dark that I should have walked out with what I got. I will never return to her and I hope this review helps other ladies from having their hair ruined by Tessa.

One of my favorite parts was that she took detailed images of my scalp at the beginning and explained exactly what she was seeing. It was fascinating and so helpful to actually understand the condition of my scalp instead of just guessing. Based on those images, she customized my treatment with specific products, tinctures, and even supplement recommendations that were tailored to what my scalp actually needed. The treatment itself was incredible! She used several different jets, massage tools, and scalp treatments throughout the session, and every step felt intentional. It was incredibly relaxing, but I also walked away feeling like I learned a lot about my scalp health and had a real plan to improve it. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend booking a scalp facial! It's relaxing, educational, and deeply personalized. 10/10! 'll definitely be back!

I wish I had the words to express that better but it just meant everything. And my hair came out beautiful!!! With how messed up it was I did not expect it to turn out the way it did. The concept of a spiky, wispy, textured pixie is not comfortable for some stylists. It seems most people only go in for long hair trims and balayage, so perhaps stylists do not get to practice that style. Someone on NextDoor suggested Cori Beasley from Salty Blonde Salon. Thank you!! Wish I could remember who recommended her so I could thank her!! I got a wonderful cut, her attention to technique was great, lots of confidence in her manner.
