I of course went back to Dawna who squeezed me in on a Saturday afternoon as her last client... I point this out, as the salon closes at 4:00, and she was still taking care of me after the doors were locked. Besides 'squeezing me in' on a busy Saturday, I think she actually added me after her last client was already booked. Props for the amazing customer service! Being in the hospitality biz, I tend to notice these things... I went for an overall color (no highlights) of Jet Black. She did an awesome job. The color was perfect, warm, shiny... and I've seen so many attempts on jet Black and it ends up looking grey and ashy, or even purple-ish... Yeah, no thanks! She also gave me some kick-ass swoopy bangs *that's what I call 'em* and hooked me up with a much needed product to control my frizzie pieces. Like my day couldn't get any better, leaving the ATM after my appointment a very cute boi took the time to stop and tell me how he loved the *color* of my hair, he thought it was gorgeous... Somehow she manages to get it to look tame and great each time I get my cut. She's also a whiz with the color. I sometimes go for the full foil highlight and she puts in two tones which makes my hair look fantastic. Rachel is ridiculously talented and a doll to talk with. After paying $188, my hair looked exactly the same -- they didn't fix the color at all, and even added more blonde, which I didn't ask for. When I called to let them know, they told that they could give me another appointment but I'd have to pay another $180+ to redo it. Honestly, it's unacceptable to pay that much and leave with no visible difference. I wouldn't recommend this salon.
