I thought since my mom usually goes here to get a trim that I'd do the same. Will never go back. Although it's a cheaper option, I never thought getting a trim there would be so terrible. The stylist, Charrisa (if you could even call her that), was unpleasant and moody to start. She sectioned my hair into six different parts, and those were the pieces she cut. No going over to check her work or anything. Then, instead of drying my hair with a round brush, she used a tiny brush, then switched to a bigger square brush. I asked her why and said I wanted some volume, and she told me that since I didn't have layers I wouldn't be getting volume. So you damage hair again by using that type of brush when I just came in to get rid of the dead ends? It doesn't matter what the length or hairstyle, you can still create volume. Simply use hairspray or mousse, anything they taught her in beauty school would have helped! Like I said, I understand it's a budget conscious place, but after going there, it's safe to say I could have done a much better job. read more

They now require you to provide your address and a phone number before they will cut your hair. In the age of information sharing and identity theft...seriously? Why would you need all that personal info about me just to cut my hair?? And they now take appointments so if you are a walk-in...just walk-out..appointments will be taken first, even if you've been waiting an hour. read more

I'm new to the area and could not find a good place to get my hair cut. The last few times I had actually driven 60 miles to my previous barber. Well I was reccomended cost cutters and to ask for crystal. I sure was happy with my experience there. She did a great job and cut my hair exactly how I like it! No more long drives for me. So happy I found a great place less than a mile from where I currently live. read more

Will NEVER EVER go back to Cost Cutters again. We walked in and was told that the wait would be very minimal. We took an hours wait before my son and I planned to get a haircut. My son got his haircut first. He asked that our stylist were to tighten up the sides of his hair and to get a little taken off the top. My son asked to get some more cut off of the sides after she was done and we got an EXTREMELY RUDE attitude from our stylist. It seemed as if It was an inconvenience for her to cut some more off. I asked if it was a problem and she said "no, but it's like another haircut." This put me in an very bad mood. Any other walk-in haircuttery we've been to has never ever treated us with such disrespect. I WOULD NOT recommend going here. Was my last time going to any cost cutters. read more

My boyfriend mistakenly goes here every time he needs a cut and almost ALWAYS leaves disappointed. I was going to get a trim while he was there but after standing at the counter for 5 minutes (after receiving looks from 2 stylists) I decided that I'd rather spend $25 more for someone to pay attention to me. When my boyfriend's hair was finally done, I thought I could have done a better job!!! The woman hacked away at his hair without ever checking the length and apparently never learned how to blend. If you want to pay $13 for a haircut, go to Target and get some clippers and a scissors and DO IT YOURSELF. read more

Bad attitude worse hair cut. Actually told me " that's too bad, isn't it " after I said it's a lot shorter than I asked for. A few other smart ass comments then she actually expected a tip?! I won't be back, wish I checked yelp first. read more

Crystal did an amazing job on my hair! I love it so much! Thanks again and I will see you soon!!!!

Had eyebrows done ...sat at the hair shampoo sink ...not much light ..was NOT pleased. Will not go back again

I get my hair cut by Juan. He does a great job cutting my hair. He is quick and precise. The fees are extremely reasonable.

Just got one of the crappiest haircuts ever. It would be stretching it to say the stylist spent even five minutes cutting my hair! I know it is supposed to be a cheaper option but good grief, at lease pretend like your care about your customers! She was trying to work so fast that chucks of hair were being ripped out by the clippers and when I got home I found a very uneven cut with rogue hairs sticking out everywhere that had not been cut. I have visited this location for several months. While I have had the occasional stylist who takes time and does a good job, it is inconsistent at best. I have had my last haircut here. read more

I went for a haircut recently and I had a young blonde girl, who was extremely rude and mean. She even called my hair a mess and was impatient once I didn't know what to tell her when she turned down my initial idea. Terrible and I'm never going back. Also the cut itself was awful I've been crying about my hair since I left the place. I created this yelp just so I can warn others to choose another hair salon to go to. It's insane I spent $20 for a bad experience and haircut. read more

The male stylist cut my hair. He's nice, but that doesn't make him good at what he does! Like another reviewer said, it took about 5 min to cut my naturally straight hair. Also like the other reviewer, I understand it's a "bargain option" hair place-I can't call it a salon. The part was put in sloppily which made the rest of the cut even worse....I had to fix big sections of my hair that were up to 1" longer than the rest! I'll never go back!! read more

I never write reviews unless something really good or really bad happens. Unfortunately this is a bad one.The 1 star is because the people that helped me were somewhat courteous but Ive gotten 2 bad cuts here & only one good one. The first bad one I didnt go back but they told me on my 2nd cut to come back right away if I wasnt happy. I got a good cut that time. This third one, I just got a really bad cut so I went back & they recut it but it still looks bad. Too short on one side and too long in front. Sorry, I dont think you should be in the business if youre only getting a good cut 1 out of 3 times! Dont let the $12 tuesday draw you in like I did. Stay away & go to great clips across the street ! ive gotten a few good cuts there already & theyre only $13 & sometimes only $7 when theyre doing promotions ! read more

went in sat afternoon for a basic haircut...the one stylist was doing the hair of a woman friend and her husband was hanging out on one of the empty chairs talking out loud being a complete jerk and being obnoxious the other stylist that was doing my hair was paying more attention to them ...Her scissors were not sharp her sheers wasn't sharp and pulled more of my hair than cut it ...paid no attention of what she was doing..she sprayed my hair with water bottle to trim top and didn't dry it ..it was 12 degrees out and I left with a soaked head while she paid more attention to the other stylist and her friends.....the whole place was completely unprofessional and unsupervised ....the prices there aren't good enough to be treated badly.......Don't go there read more
