Super cool, interactive spot to learn for kids and adults ! We went while visiting family in Wichita. This spot is about an hour outside of Wichita but worth the drive. So much to learn about NASA and space and the different vessels and planes we use in the air ! The place is large and good for groups (there were 15 of us). Highly recommend checking them out!

This gift shop is so darn cute! Candi was the employee in there and she was very helpful with finding what we were looking for. The gift shop was very well organized, and prices are honestly not bad for many things- as they have clearance items as well. Also, they have military and veteran discount of 10%. You have to let them know before the purchase so they can adjust the price.

This is the single best museum I've been to in years, maybe ever. If you're interested in space, air, and/or history, this is your place. As soon as you walk in an actual SR-71A greets you. Look down, Liberty Bell 7, look past those two and you see half of a space shuttle. The further I went, the more amazing it was. This collection is second to only the air and space museum at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. I mean, come on, Apollo 13's Odyssey is in there. The real one. I was very close to tearing up multiple times because of what many of these artifacts did for the United States during the Cold War and Space Race. This museum is stunning. Do yourself a favor and check it out, it's unbelievable.

A great improvement to watch movies compared to Hutch B&B theatre (if u can acclimate to the surround effects).

My husband and I both love sports and this place had memorabilia and history for everything that you could think of. We first went to the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame and when we asked about other places with Barry Sanders history they recommended this place. I will warn you the place is small and you could go through it fairly quickly but the guy who was working there took us on a tour of what he thought was some important and interesting history that we would like to know. He was very informative and so incredibly hospitable. This museum was Free but we loved it so much we went to the convenient store next door to get cash to take back and donate!

What I found was simply AMAZING! It is like stepping into a friends VERY OBVIOUSLY cherished collections of all things sports from Kansas. This collection was displayed and labeled with thoughtfulness and care. Just being there was an honor. Did I know many of the people? Nope. It didn't matter, anyone can appreciate the passion behind this collection and the fact that it is free to the public just underscores the collector's altruism as he opens his private collection to all. THANK YOU!! Be sure to drop a donation, maintaining this is worth every dollar you drop in.
