If you need additional parking, there is additional parking around the back of the building. They had tons of plants, but I was there to look for pots. Many of their pots (like most places) were what I'd consider high, but it's the going rate. I did speak to an employee and he stated they had some 40% off pots on the side of the building. They didn't really have any that were matching in my price range. They have a nice variety of plants and knowledgeable employees.

This place has a wide variety to choose from. In the past I've purchased a lovely jade and pearl pothos and a beautiful white wizard. It's crazy how you start with one plant and then end up with way more over time. The plant life is addictive in the best way, and I can't wait to visit again to get a few outside plants for some pots I recently purchased.

The owners and…read moreemployees are some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, and their knowledge of all things plants is truly "growing" on me. You can tell they pour so much love, care, and attention into every plant they sell, there isn't a sad leaf in sight! They have a fantastic selection of flowers and plants, plus plant food specifically suited for Florida gardens. While they carry some pots, they have a nice selection! The real stars of the show are the healthy, thriving plants ready to come home with you. As a locally owned and operated business, they deserve all the support we can "grow"their way. And let's not forget their resident superhero cat, Night Claw! Though with that beautiful brown-copper fur, I can't help but call him "Bean" because he looks like the world's cutest coffee bean. Slightly obsessed with him Honestly, if you haven't visited Garden Shack yet, I'm shocked . Stop stalking plant photos online and get over here! Get your hands dirty, support local, and watch your plant collection flourish.

(even Datil peppers which is hard to find!) They have all the supplies including pots and soil. The biggest praise I can give this business is their customer service. I was warmly greeted by multiple employees, and a nice lady was very patient with me and all of my questions. Going into a garden store can be intimidating when you don't know where to start, but the staff made everything very easy and even helped me load up my car with all of my goodies.

My wife came by this store a couple weeks back and bought some pots for our cute new family members, but she forgot the saucers for them. I came in today with the intent of buying the saucers and maybe getting a new plant. This place looks great. They have tons of good looking plants, herbs, and shrubs. But with all the feel good green vibes and pretty scenery it was strange how the customer service was so eh. Now, no one was a straight up jerk, but there was something missing. I thought maybe it was just me so I asked my wife after I got home and she had the same experience. She didn't say anything to me about it before. Anyhow, they have an assortment of plants, pots, saucers and supplies. Prices are not cheap compared to other locations I've visited around town. There are people there to ask questions to and check you out, but I found staff at competitors a bit more willing to talk and answer in sentences rather than one word replies.

I'm extremely disappointed with Tools for a Time, which is not something I ever thought I'd say…read more They've been a solid resource for my lawn care business for years, and I've consistently given them my business. Over the past year, after upgrading several pieces of equipment, the experience has gone downhill fast. Staff have been inconsistent and often uninformed about warranties, have failed to honor or properly handle warranty claims, and turnaround times have been unacceptable. Equipment has come back late, not fixed correctly, or in worse condition than when it was dropped off. "Well, you can bring it back," is not acceptable when you rely on your equipment to make a living. I've only purchased Shindaiwa and Echo products through them, so maybe the manufacturers share some responsibility, but customer service and accountability still matter. I'm honestly shocked at how little regard has been shown to loyal, long-term customers. At this point, I can't recommend Tools for a Time to other professionals who depend on reliable equipment and timely service.

We bought three tomato plant variants, one Rutgers indeterminate and two determinate tomato plants. We had also bought three tomato plants from Lowe's just to compare. One of the Lowe's tomato plants died within weeks but all three of Nick's tomato plants are producing a wealth of heathy and delicious tomatoes. The two determinate plants are close to the end of their life but the Rutgers is flourishing and producing an amazing amount of tomatoes. We also purchased some petunias that have done wonderful on our back deck. Today, we stopped by his booth outside of southern roots on King street and purchased some jasmine, coffee okra, lantana, coffee plants, and some other flowers to bring some more color to the backyard and I am excited to see how well they do. Each plant had excellent root structure! I highly recommend buying plants from Nick because he is very knowledgeable on what he grows. I believe he has a degree in horticulture and you are able to tell it by all the information he is able to provide you when you stop by his booth. If you like his Facebook page you are able to find out where he is setting up throughout the week.
