So you could be buying a dirty product if you're not really careful about what you're picking up. If I were running the store, I would be embarrassed to have most of the lower cost products out of stock when I can walk into a Walmart and most everything is in stock and clean. I purchased a lipstick for pick up and when I got it, it was used. Eww. I brought it back to the store to return and didn't have my phone on me - the manager wasted 20 minutes trying to determine the amount of the return due to me using a 15% coupon on the Ulta app - the return was a huge waste of my time and the person in charge was basically scrounging for pennies when I am high income and spend a lot on makeup annually - 30 minutes of my time is more valuable than two dollars. I'll probably just order online from other stores and have stuff shipped to me. Being able to look at the testers and the swatches in person was really important, but Ulta has almost nothing out for swatching and they had almost no Q-tips for testing. Even if they had run out of the makeup products or there's some sort of supply chain crunch what is their excuse for not refilling the Q-tip containers? I visited on two different days for a couple hours a time and it was empty both times. I feel like it's crazy not to have this available for your customers and shows a lack of care for your customers. I'll probably continue to visit to get a sense of the colors in person, but I don't think they care.

You can pay any way you want the day of service. The spa is located in the bustling Midtown area. The entrance leads you to their front area which is the store part. They sell lots of high quality health, spa and beauty items and accessories. These aren't your run of the mill drugstore brands so expect to spend extra $$. There is a door that leads to the spa area and pedicure/manicure stations. It's a nice sized room with 2 pedicure chairs with the most comfortable chairs I've ever had a pedi in! There are windows looking out on the main street and I loved the natural light coming in. There is also a chandelier hanging which makes this place pretty luxe. Kayla did my pedi and she had that very important skill of chatting while doing my pedi which was great since she didn't fall behind or take longer than the norm. The techs were also nice enough to squeeze us in for last minute manicures which was super appreciated! It ended up costing $65 for both a mani and pedi before tip. Money very well spent in my opinion. I think this may be our designated Tallahassee spa for the future! Check them out if you plan to be in the area but make sure to book them early for spa services.

I was trying to create a really good skin care routine and she did the whole nine yards- cleanser my face with the Clarisonic (it was sterilized), mask, toner, serum, moisturizer, treatment, eye cream- and explained everything. I was literally just doing research and she was totally down to help me and gave me samples. I went back and purchased a lot of her recommendations because of that session. Beyond that, the selection is pretty great. Sure, popular items (like a lot of Fenty because Rihanna is amazing) sell out but the stock is usually pretty stellar. They can even have you purchase in store and send it to your home for free if your not a flash delivery person (which if you order from Sephora at least two or three times a year, and would rather just be able to not go to the store and order even one cheap item and have it deliver free in two days, you should get flash delivery). The rewards system is not my favorite- Ulta allows your points to turn into money discounts- but they are definitely improving with the recent revamp.
