The former was not needed because I wanted an appointment as soon as possible and presumably not seeing a dentist could expedite scheduling; the latter was not needed because I am actively trying to become pregnant. The office told me that I would not be able to have a cleaning without an x-ray because "the law" requires that dental patients get x-rays at mandated intervals. I have researched all Florida statutes and regulations concerning dentistry: There is no such law. Apart from this lie, the office also informed me that pregnant women were fine to get x-rays which cause less radiation than "going outside." While I don't have data on that point, surely that cannot be the case. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that the one time I did have an issue, it could have been diagnosed with the x-ray Dr. Bailey performed. She, however, apparently didn't review the x-ray.

She is competent, skilled and makes me feel at ease. She remembers me and my "mouth". Dr. Bailey is a gem as well. She addresses all issues and concerns and responds with appropriate treatment plans. I must give a shoutout to Britney, the hygienist scheduler. She looked for availability to "fit" me in. And when nothing was available she said, I'll keep my eye on it and if something opens up I'll call you. She was true to her word. Britney called me the next day and offered me an appointment that same week. I was thrilled. I highly recommend this dental practice!

I had an absolutely disappointing experience and extreme lack of professionalism with my…read moreinteractions with this office. I felt like nothing more than a quick cash grab and here are few of my grievances. I specifically requested NO narcotics for my recovery from surgery. I was instead prescribed twelve Hydrocodone that were included in my prescriptions upon pick up. I advocated for myself and my medical history in this office and I was ignored. I then got a follow up bill 5 months after my visit informing me that I owed them over $2,000 for the medical code being used for sedation. This was after I had paid in full for my surgery at the time it was performed. This was doubly frustrating as I had requested preferably no sedation and just a topical or localized analgesic. The doctor was adamant I needed to be put under. After calling my insurance and verifying the codes, not only did I not owe money... but I was overcharged. I have now been waiting over five weeks for my owed refund. The first check was sent to the wrong address because even though I spent the time to update my address on my forms during office visits, it was never properly entered into their system. I can't in good faith recommend this practice and would recommend traveling a city or two over for your oral and facial surgery needs as that would be an easier process in my opinion.

First, I was asked to start with a $600 payment BEFORE I even went in. Weird, but I did it (even…read morethough I have insurance). Then they do short testing and it costs almost $300 so I get back about $300. Then I get a bill for another $107 2 weeks later. When I call, they said it's because the coder knows the codes better than the doctors, therefore it's higher. I went to Costco for hearing later...they were way more professional, they didn't cost anything, and they offered the same type of hearing aids for thousands of dollars less. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Total scam.
