He is patient, kind, honest, and very realistic. He recently helped us find our home, and we could not have been more grateful for every minute he helped us. We were in a unique situation moving from across the country, limited with time to see houses and a short time frame to buy, but he was patient and walked us through every house we requested to see and really stressed that we should not buy a house based on pressure, but rather one we would call home.He answered all of our questions and if he did not know the answer he would find out and tell us quickly. He communicated with us through every step of the closing process and handled all the necessary tasks so that closing went smoothly. There was no pressure with him while looking at houses. He really wants you to be happy with your home purchase.

I've lived in three units at Woodland House over the years - rented a studio, then a one bedroom,…read moreand then purchased a two bedroom condo in 2014. I sold the condo when I bought my house, but I really enjoyed my time living in the building. The office management, security, and maintenance staff are all wonderful and extremely helpful. Can't go wrong with the massive pool, sauna, gym and rec room either! Gated outdoor parking & indoor garage parking, 24 hour security, lots of solid perks. Parts of the building are a bit dated but they're good with continuously improving and updating. Still, absurdly high condo fees are tough to swallow, along with penny pinching on things like charging for visitor parking. Overall though, it's an excellent place to live.

The coaching at ct reia has been life changing. Yes the content can be learned for free by yourself if you dedicate hundreds of hours and have a way of figuring out what is true and what isn't , but that is not what the value is. The value is having someone hold your hand whenever you have a question that is local. It's someone who drives to your property once you purchased it and does a walk through of what you should or should not do. It's someone who says don't worry use my contractor for that. Or did you consider doing this? Rich and Mark have provided me with so much support on the rehab front that I am beyond grateful. Ron has also toughened me up on the tenant front to keep it as fair and professional going forward. This is so far my best real estate investment. So yes I personally recommend it!

Now I'm stuck battling this issue out with our landlord. This isn't something I wish on anyone who's paying good money to rent and be independent. Terrible shady people. Not to mention not very knowledgeable on basic renting questions that I had. The response that I received to my questions was "I don't know I don't live here." Do better A-List more like F-list. I would give - stars if I could. Specifically David and Grant in the West Hartford location.

We rented through A-List apartments when we first moved to West Hartford about 2 years ago. To say…read morethey were unprofessional would be an understatement. We were not told when moving in, that many of the apartments in our complex were reserved for low-income households. The majority of our neighbors did not work, and would loiter outside all day and all night. They would invite friends over constantly, and loud groups of cars would be in and out of the parking lot. We will take responsibility for not recognizing this, as we could have done further research or asked more questions before renting this apartment. We were young and eager to move into our first apartment. There is, however, no excuse for the lack of communication & professionalism with any complaints we had about our unit. We had MULTIPLE issues with our apartment's electricity, water (leaking/flooding from the upstairs unit), and safety (the windows would pop out of the unit, none of the fire alarms were up to code, and our oven started leaking gas). We had no direct line for maintenance. The number we'd been given was a machine automated answering service. We'd call multiple times and leave various messages for days on end and receive no response. When someone did ultimately call back once, they called from a blocked number so we still had no direct line of communication that we could contact again. After about 6 months of this, we tried to approach management. Rob Koff was the absolute most unprofessional and immature "adult" I have ever dealt with. He came on the attack, was completely unapologetic, acknowledged that the unit we were in was oversold (shows how desperately he will try to make a sale), and yelled and laughed at us over the phone. I have never been spoken to by a "professional" like this in my entire life, and never will again, as I will certainly never be dealing with A-List properties again. I do hate to generalize based off one experience. It seems from other reviews that other affiliates of A-List Apartments set the bar significantly higher than Rob Koff does. I hope that is the case! A-List - do yourself a favor and do not let your name be dragged down by such an unprofessional.

-Specifically for Cathy Dionne-…read more Usually, sales people scare me. I loathe the slime that tends to come with the territory. I fear the pushy attitudes. And I hate being sold on something. There's nothing worse than feeling like you didn't make the decision you wanted to because a salesperson led you over the cliff. Cathy Dionne is the antithesis of the previous paragraph. Know the following: -She understood our budget, and never attempted to take us out of our comfort zone. -She was in near constant contact, offering much-needed market updates and informing us of the status of our offer. -She has razor sharp instincts for the market. She knew, and made it clear to us, that our home of interest was a very good value. When looking around a house during a showing, she spots the positives and negatives that you may not notice. -Nights and weekends? I'll put it this way: On a FRIDAY NIGHT, she set the gears in motion to get some much needed paperwork done for a Saturday morning. God bless her hard work. -She was our psychiatrist when we needed it. "You're probably going to feel a little nauseous when you make an offer, it is a big commitment after all" she semi-jokingly told us. It's true... buying a home can surely be nerve wracking. -Explainer extraordinaire. Being first-timers, we know very little about home buying, a fact that some agents could otherwise prey on. Cathy took the time to explain every step in the process, every piece of legal mumbo-jumbo, and every sheet of paper we were signing. As of this Yelp, we are now under contract on a beautiful home that Lesley Q. and I could stay in until we retire. Cathy helped us get there. It's funny, because I first met her at a house that she was the listing agent on, a house we ultimately didn't want. But that casual meeting led to the best relationship with a real estate agent that Lesley and I could possibly imagine. The phrase "highly recommended" would be a grotesque understatement.

It was not until I sent them an email that they confirmed the free month in an email from 12 months prior. How many times has this happened to other people ?! - Equipment in the gym is often not repaired for months on end. Petty management with a bad attitude. Seriously, don't move here. There was a woman beaten in an elevator, homeless people get into the building and hangout on the 26th floor. A neighbor had furniture stolen right in front of her door. What's worse, is I have an email from management asking people to just return the stolen item. This clearly shows the cameras they have in the hallways are NOT functional, or not recording. The neighbor who's furniture was stolen installed their own camera on the door. Also, there was a lady who was beaten in an elevator, that ACTUALLY happened! I'm attaching photos as evidence to show I'm not lying. First photo shows they leave the loading door wide open(taken at 4:30 am) Other photos 2 different homeless people sleeping on the property. Management says they cant and wont do anything about it. Other notables: Loading dock stinks like garbage all the time. People let their dogs pee anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE, elevators, doorways, lobby, you name it I have stepped in dog pee. THEY REMOVED THE ORIGINAL POSTING SO HERE IT IS BELOW "Response from the owner Hi Hunter - Unfortunately, your statements about the apartment community don't paint the full picture and are misleading given your recent management encounters. As you know, 777 Main is in a downtown environment and along with that location you occasionally encounter the challenges that come with urban living. One of the many features of 777 Main is that we offer first floor retail locations for added convenience and the loading dock is often open in the early morning hours, being necessary during deliveries. It's unfortunate that you chose this form of public retaliation. Our staff will continue to be available at any time to discuss your concerns further if you so choose." See this is the problem with management right here ^^^. Zero accountability and trying to cover up the fact that the door gets left open all the time. My response: You are right, they don't paint the full picture. I left more out, so I will add more of the photos. First, based on the way you have treated me, along with the problems with crime INSIDE and OUT of the building, how can you expect more than a 1 star rating? Its called the consequence of your actions and poor management. They removed my review on google to hide this, so I reposted it again. So yea.. 1 star, dont move here.
