Used a checker as I always do. Paid with the Walmart app. Receipt goes to phone. On my way out im approached and asked for receipt. I let him know I don't have a paper receipt but have one on my phone. He told me that's not allowed. I'm so confused at this point. As he's arguing with me he puts his hands on my cart in front of me and told me I'm not allowed to leave the store. So detained me at front of the store. Called others up. Once they came up showed them my receipt on my phone and left. Was completely shaken up. A grown man doing that to a women for power control. Completely embarrassing and unacceptable. When they did finally call me after complaining was asked what I was expecting. Umm atleast an apology. Haven't went back since and don't plan to.

The prices seemed fairly normal to me (but I just drove from CA), and the store was well lit and organized, and bathroom was clean. We were expecting McDonald's to be the main choice for breakfast, but the deli here has hot breakfast burritos sandwiches, including waffle, muffin, and croissant. They had egg, sausage or bacon, and cheese for $4.29 each (burritos were a little more). They were solid, not amazing but better than McDonald's, and the employees were all very helpful and nice. How do I know we aren't in CA anymore? They gave me a plastic bag! We're just passing through, but I would stop again if I'm in the area and need anything.

Wait, you don't think the reason store employees eyed me warily, gave me dirty looks, and refused to look me in the eye was because I was the only person in the store--employees included--who wore a mask, intelligently and patriotically protecting myself and everyone else there, during a dangerous, deadly, global pandemic, do you?

My review today is not good because the check-out clerk was rude and it's the second time she's been rude to me. She had really short dark brown hair and wears glasses. This would have been around 9:15 or 9:20 when I checked out. My receipt says Tam is the name but I didn't get a look at her name tag. I really don't like giving bad reviews especially when the store always looks clean and I can usually find what I need but I think the rudeness needs to be addressed.
